The reality star’s talk show simply called “Bethenny” is set to premiere June 11 on select FOX owned and operated stations, including New York and Los Angeles. Does Bethenny really have what it takes to host a talk show?

Ellen gives Bethenny advice on her new talk show:
Ellen: “My advice to you is to be yourself. Not be what you think a talk show host should be or what you’ve seen a talk show host be because the way that you’re going to be successful is by being someone that they haven’t seen before. You don’t want to try and copy a format.”
Bethenny: “I agree with that.”
Ellen: “I think you need to have fun and genuinely because the audience can sense when you’re having fun. The audience can sense if you’re being authentic so you just be yourself. You know you are very outspoken, which is why I think you’re going to be great for television. You have strong opinions and I think people will relate to that or disagree but it will be a discussion. I think you’re going to be great.”
Bethenny: “Thank you. I appreciate it.”

Teen superstar Justin Bieber talked about his one of a kind vehicle, his girlfriend Selena Gomez and announced the kick off of his “Believe Tour,” offering fans tickets to his first show in LA, during a special appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday (May 23).

Ellen: “Like you said, you shot the good, the bad. Who knows what’s going to happen in your life when you start shooting things? You got married during that time.”

Ellen: “And then that didn’t turn out to last and that part of it is still in there?”

Katy: “I thought it was important for me….First of all, I thought it was important to show everything in between. I think sometimes people think that we’re perfect and we know we’re not perfect, at all. I think it’s important start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dream you always have to be perfect or flawless or live in some kind of fantasy world. So that’s why I decided to put everything into the film. In the most tasteful way. But mostly it’s about how I go there and the ride along the way which can be bumpy but mostly it was extremely fun.”

Bobby: “I was in Mississippi performing and I got the call. Of course, I tried to get a flight. Tried to rent a jet. Whatever I had to do but it was impossible. So I knew the best thing that she would want me to do was perform. You know, we are performers. That’s what we did. That’s what we do and she would want the best for me.”

Singer/songwriter John Mayer explained why he decided to take a break, move to Montana away from the spotlight and why he still cannot sing in a special interview for The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote his new album “Born and Raised” on Tuesday (May 15)- watch video below.

John Mayer’s “Shadow Days” Dedicated To Jennifer Aniston?

The 34 year-old admits that he is not proud of some things he said in the past therefore he really needed to step away for awhile to regroup and mature. The truth is John’s new single “Shadow Days” does have a more mature feel to it. I like this new side of John Mayer.

John Mayer on taking break for the last two years:

John: “It was a really good time. I had to go home for a minute. The plan that originally gets you out high school and your hometown, in front of people. That plan was over. I had done it. I just sort of lost my head for alittle while. I remember one time was I was a kid, I went swimming and I closed my eyes and I kept swimming and swimming and came up out of the water and I was way passed the buoys and the lifeguards were blowing me in. I kind of lost touch and I didn’t want to ask for directions. I did a couple of some dumb interviews and it kind of woke me up.”

Ellen: “Is that what it is? The interviews? Because you got a lot of attention for the Playboy interview and I don’t know what else but is that when you kind if went, oh, you were not proud of that.”

John: “Oh yeah, I don’t even remember having a Rolling Stone cover. It was a very strange time and it sort of rocketed me into adulthood. It was a violent crash into being an adult. For a couple of years it was just figuring it all out and I ‘m glad I actually stayed out of the spotlight. Because I think back then I would of said, give me two weeks or like let me get out and do ‘Ellen’ and let me explain myself. It was like no, idiot. Go away be 33 and 34 instead of 28 for the 4th year.”

John Mayer on his voice:

John: “I can’t sing so I’m writing.”

Ellen: “You sound fine so what’s wrong with you?”

John: “…it’s a thing in my throat. It’s not a health concern whatsoever but it has taken me out of singing. Tried to beat it the first time and couldn’t. What they actually do is they cut this thing out of your throat and then they inject your vocal cords with botox which freezes your vocal cords so that this thing can heal without smacking up against the other side. I just need more botox next time. So I got to do it all over again get more botox which kind of paralyzes for vocal cord for longer. I’m very happy to be a writer, really lucky to be a write.”

Comedian Ellen DeGeneres auditioned on her show Ellen to be the voice that reads the scandalous and controversial book ‘50 Shades of Grey.‘

As you can tell in the video, Ellen struggled to say the least with reading several passages of the steamy, sexual erotic thriller.

Actor Orlando Bloom revealed some funny details about the birth of his baby boy Flynn and basically bragged about how his wife, Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr, is blessed with good genes and a rocking hot post baby boy only three months after giving birth in an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday (April 29).

Poor Orlando had to suffer through 27 hours of labor without an epidural and was forced to pee in a bottle. Fantastic. He also claims his baby mama is totally crazy because she is already back to work as a model and her body is hotter than ever. Miranda’s post-baby body secret is breast feeding a big baby!

On the birth of his son Flynn…
Ellen: “So congratulations. You have a brand new little baby.”
Orlando: “He’s actually very big. He’s actually huge for his age. He’s like 20 lbs.”
Ellen: “How much did he weigh when he was born?”
Orlando: “9 lbs 12 oz. Ladies…believe 27 hours of labor.”
Ellen: “Wow.”
Orlando: “There for every minute.”
Ellen: “Were you really?”
Orlando: “Every minute. Peeing in a bottle. I was like honey, I have to go to the bathroom. (She said) Someone get him a bottle.”
Ellen: “Because you didn’t leave.”
Orlando: “Sorry, too much information. Especially on TV.”
Ellen: “No, not really that means you’re devoted. You really stayed there the entire time….I’m a little hurt because we decided we were going to have a child together but it didn’t work out.”
Orlando: “But, wait a second. Let’s back up a second, because I thought you got married first. I was the one who was broken hearted so I just ran to Miranda (Kerr) because I was like Ellen got married so I’m done.”
Ellen: “I see.”
Orlando: “I’m going to get married and have kids real quick. At least we got the kid first.”
Ellen: “So, she was a rebound?” (Laughing)
Orlando: “She’s total rebound.” (Laughing)
Ellen: “That’s really impressive. You stayed there the whole time and she didn’t have an epidural? Is that right?”
Orlando: “That is correct. You’re getting your information right.”
Ellen: “Why? Did she want one?”
Orlando: “I don’t know. I said, break them out. I’ll take it at this point.”

On his wife modeling three months after the baby…
Ellen: “Miranda was modeling like three months after she gave birth? Is that right?”
Orlando: “She is a little insane. Yes.”
Ellen: “This is three months afterward? (Ellen shows picture) Really, seriously?”
Orlando: “Yes. That’s my girl.”
Ellen: “Why did you put her to work right away? Can’t she stay home with the baby for a little while?”
Orlando: (Laughing) “Like I said, she’s of her own mind.”
Ellen: “That’s impossible.”
Orlando: “It’s genetics. It’s amazing. She looks incredible.”
Ellen: “She must of done something… Started working out.”
Orlando: “A lot of breast-feeding….”

Eccentric singer Lady GaGa openly talked about fame, her struggles and being the godmother of Elton John’s baby before performing her latest single “Judas”, the second out of her new album “Born This Way”, for the first time on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (April 28).

Ellen DeGeneres asked her about her HBO special and why GaGa is seen crying, claiming to feel like a loser in one of the promotional clips (see video HERE). GaGa reveals how she wakes up in the morning every day and finally confirms she is the godmother of Baby Zachary, the son of Elton John and his partner David Furnish (photos here).

Lady Gaga on how her fame is sometimes overwhelming…

Ellen: I know it’s a struggle for all of us. Especially if there’s stuff that happens when you’re younger. You’re constantly dealing with insecurities or feeling you’re worthy of all of this adoration that you get. But I heard that you, in the new HBO special that you were calling your self a loser. Is that right?

Lady Gaga: Well, in that moment I was very excited and nervous. That is a huge benchmark moment in my life. I’m 25 years old. I was asked to play Madison Square Garden. Sold out 5 nights and quite frankly it’s very overwhelming. Do I feel like a loser sometimes? Yes, of course I do. We all feel like losers sometimes.

Lady Gaga: It’s very funny and my best friends who often will crash at hotels where I’m at. They will come visit me on the road they always call me a Beauty Queen disaster. I wake up and my wigs falling off my head. My mole is on the other side of face. My fake mole, it’s not fake it’s surreal.

Ellen: It’s a surreal mole?

Lady Gaga: It’s a surrealist mole.

Christina: “There is someone very lovely in my life. Yes.”
Ellen: “That’s all that matter’s is that you’re happy. It’s hard. Divorce is hard.”
Christina: “It definitely is hard.”
Ellen: “You deserve to have fun and date and stuff…”
Christina: “Absolutely.”
Ellen: “Don’t you?”
Christina: “Yes.”

Christina on singing the National Anthem:
Ellen: “I saw you sing (at the Super Bowl).”
Christina: “That’s right, I did sing at the Super Bowl.”
Ellen: “I saw it and didn’t see anything. Then it was this huge thing…then I felt stupid that maybe I didn’t know the lyrics.”
Christina: “I had been singing that song my entire life. I was the youngest anthem singer in my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. I sang for the “Steelers” when I was this big (as a child.)”
Ellen: “How old were you?”
Christina: “I think 7 or 8 years old. I would sing for them. I think had a moment where I was at the Super Bowl at 30 years old. I took in the moment a little bit too much. Shoot me for appreciating the moment but here I am at the Super Bowl…singing for a team and in front of the world. And remembering what it was like to be that young and look where I made it now. And then it was like, oh. That night I knew, I just made myself a Trivial Pursuit question…In 2011 what female singer, ya know, flubbed the lyrics. It’s just insane. But I have a really good laugh about it and you get over things. You get back up again and you just prove to yourself and to everyone you that much stronger.”

Christina has gained a bit of weight after her divorce from husband Jordan Bratman and has also been accused of having a bit of an alcohol problem. However, Christina recently said that she is back on her feet and getting a fresh start, starting with her career.

Ellen: “The rumour is you have a record deal. Are you going to do an album?”
Gwyneth: “Well, I haven’t signed anything but I’m thinking about it. I kind of have to get my head around the concept of it and how I would want to do it. Do it in a right way. It’s hard to think of switching because all the signing I’ve been doing has been coming out of “Country Strong” or “Glee.” So I think, how would I do that? Just a record by myself feels a little scary to me. I would like to in theory but we’ll see.”

Ellen: “Not like a Britney Spears thing?”
Gwyneth: “Not totally. She’s cornered that market.”

Ellen: “Were you able to enjoy it? It was smallish, right?”

Ellen: “Portia and I were going to have a bigger wedding and then we decided to just have… we had 17 people so we could actually really talk to everyone. Did you feel like you had to talk to everyone there?”
Reese: “Yeah, I get nervous too. I don’t like having birthday parties. I mean, I like going to parties. I just don’t like it when it’s about me. Which is so bizarre but and then once I’m there, I’m having the best time and I dance for four hours until I had to put cowboy boots on.”
Ellen: “So you changed obviously?”
Reese: “Well, I changed into cowboy boots. From those awful uncomfortable shoes that look like this.” (Looks down at the shoes she is wearing.)
Ellen: “Did you a DJ or a band? What did you do?”
Reese: “I had both. I had a country music, blue grass, Rockabilly band, that was so cool and then a DJ.”
Ellen: “Did you have a song that you danced to? Is that too personal? Did you have like a song?”
Reese: “Oh, lots of songs.”
Ellen: “Not like a song?”
Reese: “No, not like one song but tons and tons of country music. I’m a big country music fan.”
