Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery welcomed a healthy baby girl named Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery in Los Angeles last week (September 15). The couple, that is going through a tough time, denying rumors Chris had cheated on his pregnant wife, announced they were expecting their first child together back in April.

Ellen’s co-star Katherine Heigl recently announced that she and her husband had adopted a baby girl Naleigh from Korea (check out the first official photos of Katherine and Josh Kelley’s new family).

Music producer Chris Ivery reportedly cheated on his pregnant wife, Ellen Pompeo, with a sexy 19 year-old restaurant hostess named Rachel Artz, who he lured with promises to make her a star.

Chris and Rachel used to meet in hotels in Boston and Miami. The steamy affair started a month after Ellen announced her pregnancy and lasted for more than three months, according to Star Magazine.

“Yes, I had sexual relations with Chris,” Rachel acknowledged when she spoke with Star. “We were intimate several times.”

A source tells Star, “Chris often took calls from Ellen in front of Rachel and talked about their baby-to-be.” Otherwise, the insider adds, “He didn’t seem to like Ellen much when he talked about her. He made her seem like a diva.”

The Grey’s Anatomy actress has denied the affair via her rep and the couple has been seen together in public more often in a clear attempt to clear the rumors. Ellen is having a baby girl due next month.

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo and her husband/music producer Chris Ivery are finally expecting their first child together. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2007 and the actress had recently said they were enjoying married life the best they could.

“We enjoy our life so much,” Pompeo said in the October 2008 issue. “We go to Europe and sleep in. So when I have the baby, I won’t feel like we’ve missed any fun, reckless times together, like staying up all night drinking champagne and having sex until five in the morning and not having to get up until two in the afternoon. But I’ve got to get on it, because the clock is ticking.”

Aww… the first Grey’s Anatomy baby!! I wonder if this pregnancy will have any impact in Dr. Meredith Grey’s future. Will she be having a McDreamy baby?? Congratulations to Ellen and Chris!!

Droopy Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo wed record producer Barack Obama Chris Ivery in a quiet ceremony on Friday night in New York.

Ellen Pompeo now officially has her own McDreamy: the Grey’s Anatomy star and fiancé Chris Ivery married on Friday, her dad confirms to PEOPLE.

“I’m very happy for her,” Joseph Pompeo, of Everett, Mass., said Wednesday. “She just didn’t want a big thing.”

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg served as a witness at the brief ceremony, which was performed at City Hall in Lower Manhattan by a city clerk, the Boston Globe originally reported.

Did PEOPLE refer to Ivery as a McDreamy knockoff? He looks more like a Barack Obama knockoff.

Ellen Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey, on the ABC hit TV show Grey’s Anatomy is engaged to record producer Chris Ivery.

Pompeo added, “We were six degrees our whole lives, so I feel like we were sort of meant to be. We’ll get married eventually, secretly.”

The two Boston natives dated for two and a half years before Ivery popped the question after lunch this past Friday morning on Pompeo’s 37th birthday.

The rock is 3.5 carat emerald cut diamond in a platinum setting.

No wedding date has been set and they plan to wed in secret.
