Actresses Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain brought a splash of color to the red carpet of the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards held at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (January 29)- more pictures below.

The 30 year-old “The Help” star, who was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress, flaunted her figure in an azure bustier dress by Calvin Klein Collection, while the 28 year-old wore a jade chiffon Oscar de la Renta gown.

I love the bright colors, but Emily’s one-shoulder dress is the winner. Emily was escorted by her husband, “The Office” actor John Krasinski.

The Office’s, John Krasinski may be off the market, but that doesn’t mean he’s forgotten how to have a good time!

Krasinski and Saturday Night Live’s, Jason Segal, hit up a karaoke bar in Ann Arbor, MI this week, along with Krasinski’s wife, Emily Blunt, and Community star Alison Brie.  The gang must have been itching for a little excitement because when a few bachelorette party-goers hit up the boys to serenade the bride-to-be, John and Jason were all for it!

I knew I liked these guys.

According to TMZ, Segal and a ballcap laden Krasinski, hopped up onstage and performed a rousing rendition of everybody’s favorite karaoke jam – Brown Eyed Girl.  Both the actors and the bride-to-be appeared to be having a grand old time, and even incorporated a naked blowup doll (always a bachelorette party favorite) into their act.

Michael Scott would’ve been proud.

As stylish as she is now, Emily Blunt says she was more of a tomboy growing up.

The Devil Wears Prada star said she grew up a bit different from other girls:

“I never dreamed of being a princess when I was a child – I wanted to be on the soccer team. I wasn’t into Barbie dolls and swore I’d never, ever wear pink. I’d throw tantrums if my mum put me in pink clothes. Not a girlie girl at all.”

Emily told Company Magazine that she thinks her draw to more masculine pastimes has helped her acting career:

“I like being one of the boys. It usually ends up being the case anyway because there’s often one female part to every five male parts on a film set.”

“When you’re outnumbered you have to be willing to accept that there might be crass humor going around, but you get used to it.”

Emily portrays the voice of Juliet in the upcoming 2011 film, Gnomeo & Juliet.

In case you didn’t figure it out, Gnomeo & Juliet is an animated garden gnome remake of Shakespeare‘s Romeo & Juliet.

James McAvoy is the voice of Gnomeo, while Emily Blunt shares her sweet voice as Juliet.

Jason Statham, Michael Caine, Patrick Stewart, Matt Lucas, Maggie Smith, Stephen Merchant, and Ozzy Osbourne make up the voices of the other characters in the movie, which features songs by Elton John. Gnomeo & Juliet is directed by Kelly Asbury, who co-directed Shrek 2.

Should be pretty funny! I guess the purpose of this is to share Shakespeare with little ones, which can’t be a bad thing.

Gnomeo & Juliet is set for release Feb. 11, 2011– just in time for Valentine’s Day — which is a coincidence, I’m sure.

British actress Emily Blunt’s uncle, Crispin Blunt, who is a Member of Parliament for the Conservative Party and also holds the post of Parliamentary Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Justice in England, finally came out of the closet.

Crispin announced he is gay after leaving his wife of more than twenty years. He has finally come to terms with his homosexuality and decided to stop living a lie. The politician didn’t leave his wife Victoria for a gay lover. Crispin assures the public there is not third party involved.

A statement from Blunt’s office reads, “There is no third party involvement but this is difficult for his immediate and wider family and he hopes for understanding and support from them.”

Scandalous! Shocking! Another politician is exposed! It’s shocking how Crispin basically lived an “unhappy” life at the side of a woman he did not love as a man is supposed to love his wife for so long. British Prime Minister, David Cameron, showed his support, claiming to believe in Crispin’s ability to do his job and he will continue is official duties.

John and Emily were seen at the LAX airport, holding hands, while trying to hide behind their sunglasses, but the 27 year-old actress still managed to flash her gorgeous wedding ring.

Actress Emily Blunt and actor John Krasinski are one of the four celebrity couples who decided to tie the knot this Saturday (July 10). Emily and John, who had been staying at George Clooney’s Lake Como luxurious estate for a week, wed in a private ceremony at the Villa D’est in Como, Italy.

The bride wore a stunning Marchesa Bridal custom cream chiffon sweetheart draped gown and had a Neil Lane three-carat diamond and platinum ring. The small ceremony was attended but George and his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis. Last week, John’s “The Office” co-star Jenna Fischer married her boyfriend, writer Lee Kirk.

Actress Emily Blunt and “The Office” star John Krasinksi have finally decided to tie the knot in a private ceremony that will occur either in Los Angeles (US) or London (UK) next Saturday (July 10) after almost a year of engagement.

The actress has everything planned already from the beautiful Monique Lhuillier gown to the wedding bands and other secret details. John and Emily started dating in November 2008 and after a few months (August 2009) he proposed.

Other celebrity couples, country star Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher, and Carmelo Anthony and La La Vazquez, have also chosen the same date for their big day. Congratulations to the three happy couples!
