The Hitch hottie says she prefers a man who doesn’t need to be the
center of attention, which works out well with her boisterous
personality.

“I think subtlety works best with me. I like that. I’m obviously not
shy myself - I am Cuban so that makes me very loud. But I like it when
a guy stands back a little and is a little mysterious and waits for the
right moment.”

There you go, boys. Sounds easy enough, right?

Actress Eva Mendes stars in a new perfume ad for Calvin Klein that has been banned from American TV for exposing Eva’s nipple as she rolls around naked under a sheet according to Gawker.

“You must be kidding me. This country really needs a new president — this country is so messed up,” said Baron. “It’s such a joke and it’s quite upsetting, frankly, how hypocritical this country has become. It’s OK for children to see people killed by guns? Spreading a little love right now would be a good idea.

“She is being a little sexy, but they are not provocative,” added Baron. “They are really well done. The spot is really beautiful — I really can’t believe this is happening.…I don’t know what else to say.”

So it seems that creative director Fabien Baron might be a bit European wouldn’t you say. Maybe CK needs a new creative director. In the video Eva is rolling around naked in bed covered only by a sheet. As if this took all that much creativity and hasn’t been done a hundred times over. The best it was ever done was in the Faith Hill video for ‘Breath’ from several years ago.

Eva Mendes is taking a break from rehab to get laid take care of some ‘personal business’ according to her rep.  She was spotting visiting several friends and out to lunch with her boyfriend George Gargurevich according to Perez Hilton.

The actress, accompanied by boyfriend George Gargurevich, left rehab on Wednesday.

However, Eva’s publicist has said that she came to LA to take care of “personal business” and has every intention of going back to rehab to finish her treatment.

Eva Mendes is the latest celebrity taking time off to seek treatment for personal issues.  The Cuban-American actress rose to fame in Training Day and 2 Fast 2 Furious.

In the wake of reports that the Hitch star has entered into a rehab treatment facility, a rep for Mendes confirms to E! News that the actress is taking time off to deal with “personal issues.”

“Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support,” publicist Brad Cafarelli said.

It has been a busy week for mental health professionals in Los Angeles.

On Wednesday, Britney Spears entered UCLA’s Psych Ward for treatment of her well documented mental issues.

Last night we reported that ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ actor Justin Chambers had spent time in the same facility earlier in the week.

This morning came news that Kirsten Dunst is on the verge of a ‘breakdown’.

I usually don’t agree with the PETA people except when they have an A-List female celebrity get naked in a promotional ad for their cause. Eva Mendes is the latest celeb to strip nude for the PETA cause.

“I want people to know that there are options - that killing a poor animal and wearing it isn’t cool…respecting all life forms is cool. I remember having my first premiere in New York City and being so naïve that I didn’t have a coat with me. My stylist sent me a…fur wrap for the evening, and I ignorantly wore it. PETA then wrote me a beautiful letter commenting on my less-than-educated choice. I was so impressed that I vowed to them and myself to NEVER wear real fur on the red carpet or in my life again.”

Well, I think that was a success. Great work Eva!

Actress Eva Mendes gets fully naked with Joaquin Phoenix for the first time on film in the upcoming film, ‘We Own the Night‘.

“I trusted him. I trusted everybody on this and I just went for it,� she said.

“The sex scene with Joaquin really wasn’t as good as it looked — these were nerve-racking scenes that are very technical and really scary,â€? Mendes said. “It was nothing to do with him, he is beautiful, but when you are exposing yourself emotionally and physically that’s so frightening … you have so many people around and the camera and it’s so scary.â€?

From the still it looks like Joaquin got to keep his shirt on for the nude sex scene with Eva. Could this be playing out any better for men wanting to see Eva sans clothing and lingerie?
