Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have announced that they’re expecting their first child together.

“Evan Rachel Wood and husband Jamie Bell confirmed that they are expecting their first child later this year,” a rep for the actress, 25, and actor, 26, told reporters. “The couple is thrilled.”

The couple, who secretly wed in October 2012, first met on the set of Green Day’s music video “Wake Me Up When September Ends” in 2005. They dated briefly, splitting in 2006. The two reunited in 2011 after Wood broke up with her fiance Marilyn Manson.

Wood shot down rumors that she was expecting in November after she was photographed wearing a baggy sweater. ”Sorry to disappoint. But no baby on the way here,” the True Blood actress Tweeted.

This is the first child for both.

On her reputation: “I don’t know!” she says, laughing. “I’m constantly changing, I’m constantly growing. I think I’m a little controversial? … I just try and keep some mystery, so hopefully people can’t really put their finger on it.”

On androgyny: “I grew up in love with David Bowie.” (She has a tattoo on her upper thigh to prove it, a heart with an Aladdin Sane lightning bolt.) “So I was always into very androgynous things. I’m the dominant one.” It’s with women, she says, that her inner North Carolina gentleman comes out: “I’m opening the doors, I’m buying dinner. Yeah, I’m romantic.”

On Thursday, Chanel revealed their latest commercial for their new men’s cologne, Bleu de Chanel. Typically, Karl Lagerfeld writes and directs his own shorts, but this time he handed over the job to Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese. And really, is there anybody better?

The short revolves around a young, rebellious actor, played by French actor Gaspard Ulliel, who refuses to conform to expectations. And of course, there’s a woman involved. To only have a 60 second spot, Scorsese knows how to bring the drama.

This isn’t the first time a Hollywood director has crossed over into the fashion world; In 2008, Sofia Coppola directed a film for Dior’s women’s fragrance Miss Dior Cherie. Frank Miller, of Sin City fame, recently directed a 3-D commercial for Gucci starring Evan Rachel Wood.

In 1987, Scorsese directed Michael Jackson’s 16 minute short film for “Bad.” Here’s what Ulliel had to say about working with the famous director:

“Martin Scorsese is a director whom I’ve admired for a long time. I see him as one of the great masters of contemporary filmmaking. Throughout the five days of work, he overflowed with energy and enthusiasm and achieved something that truly stands out from other fragrance commercials.”

Looks like we’re at ‘off again’– Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson have called off their engagement, but will it be for good this time?

To catch you up: they started dating in 2006, broke up in 2008, fixed things again, broke it off again, then got back together and are…err…were engaged before they called it off again last week.

Did anyone follow that? Me either.

I’m all for trying to work things out with the one you love, but this is just ridiculous. I’d say it’s time to just leave well enough alone.

Marilyn Manson recently revealed he and actress Evan Rachel Wood are back together. It seems like Marilyn had some sort of revelation and he is himself again, which makes him believe they can make it work this time.

Marilyn told MetalHammer, “Sometimes you feel awkward being what you’re best at, you feel like you have to be something new. But I think that a lot of people will agree that me being me at my best [is what] I need to be. I think that that really paid off because I’m back with Evan, that’s kind of breaking news.”

Evan, who was rumored to have a wild time with Mickey Rourke, and Marilyn dated for about a year and even moved in together before breaking up about a year ago, back in November 2008. Congratulations to the couple for their rekindled romance!
