Fashion legend Vittorio Missoni is missing after his plane disappeared in Venezuela.

The commercial and marketing director of Missoni fashion house was on a small plane with his wife Maurizia Castiglioni and two longtime friends “went off the radar 10 nautical miles after taking off from Los Roques.” This news was confirmed by Venezuela’s minister of justice and interior affairs, who said there is currently a “search and rescue” operation is underway.

The plane was supposed to land about 90 miles away at an international airport outside of Caracas.

“The small plane they were travelling on has disappeared,” the Missoni fashion house said in a statement. “This is all the information currently available. We are relying on the work of the Farnesina [Italy's foreign ministry] and all the institutions involved, to whom we are grateful for the prompt activities in the research. As more information becomes available the company will issue further statements.”

Clint Eastwood’s daughter, Francesca Eastwood, is currently the target of Twitter hate, which includes injurious comments and death threats, after she shamelessly destroyed a $100,000 red crocodile Birkin bag in a new photo shoot for her boyfriend Tyler Shields.

Apparently, Tyler and Francesca don’t know what to do with their money, so instead of donating and feeding the poor, they decided to set a God-awful expensive bag on fire. Fashionistas all over the world cringe at those artsy pictures of a Birkin being abused.

The 19 year-old was on the receiving end of some very angry messages and death threats over Twitter and Facebook. E.g.:

“Some of us actually have to work and live check 2 check, spoiled rotten b*tch to burn 100k bag.”

“You’re a stupid wh*re. How f***ing dumb can you be.”

“You should kill urself, ungrateful b*tch – wasted money when families can’t eat.”

Fashion abuse? Capitalist barbarism? Form of art? Whatever you want to call it. I, personally, believe people are allowed to do whatever they please with their money whether I agree with it or not. Aren’t we all sometimes guilty of wasting money in the stupidest things instead of lending a helping hand to those in need?

If they really wanted to stir controversy and make people talk about important subjects, I’d say mission accomplished. And that is what art is all about. Anyway, if you think what they did is so wrong, you should ask yourself why would anyone ever need such an expensive bag.

Fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier was intending to honor the late Amy Winehouse by designing his collection around her iconic style, but instead received poor reviews from her family and critics, too.

“The family was upset to see those pictures,” Mitch Winehouse told reporters of seeing the photos of the show.“We’re still grieving for her loss, and we’ve had a difficult week with the six-month anniversary of Amy’s death.

I don’t see anything wrong with the look-a-likes, but I can see where it would upset the family.
