God’s gift to women George Clooney has dumped his latest girlfriend du jour Sarah Larson. The 47-year old actor must have checked the sticker above his bed and realized it was time to rotate his women.

Larson and Clooney dated for almost a year. In September of 2007 they were involved in a motorcycle wreck together when they were side swiped. At least Georgie let the girl heal before setting her adrift on memory bliss.

So Larson now joins a long list of Clooney’s ex girlfriends that includes Ginger Lynn, Janet Jackson, Laura Bailey, Dedee Pfeiffer, Kelly Preston, Talia Balsam, Kimberly Russell, Karen Duffy, Salma Hayek, Charlize Theron, Lucy Liu, Julia Roberts, Renee Zellweger, Krista Allen, Hillary Rowland, Teri Hatcher and Ellen Barkin among several dozen other starlets.

AskMen.com has unveiled their Top 49 Men of 2007.  The men’s site received more than 1 million votes in deciding who was the top man of 2007.  Soccer star David Beckham topped the list being voted as this years most manly man.

Global soccer icon David Beckham became the $250-million man when he (and wife Victoria Beckham) moved to Beverly Hills to play for the Los Angeles Galaxy of the MLS. Between his tremendous talent, English charm, stylish wardrobe, and slick haircuts, Becks is single-handedly making soccer relevant stateside.

This is the second year that AskMen.com has done the Top 49 Men voting.  Last year George Clooney came out on top.  This year Clooney dropped all the way down to #8.

There is many interesting choices throughout. Timbaland at #3 is more than baffling. No doubt he is a great producer but the #3 Top Man of 2007?

Actor George Clooney was injured in a motorcycle accident in New Jersey today. Clooney suffered a broken rib.

George Clooney suffered a broken rib in New Jersey on Friday when a car collided with the motorcycle he was riding, the actor’s spokesman said. The 46-year-old actor was treated at Palisades Medical Center in Palisades, N.J. and released, spokesman Stan Rosenfield said in a statement.

The former E.R. star was rushed to the E.R. along with his girlfriend/passenger Sarah Larson. She suffered a broken foot in the crash.

A lucky girlfriend of a bidder at the Cinema Against AIDS dinner last night got to kiss George Clooney.  Her boyfriend paid/donated $350,000 to the charity to see his girl get kissed by Clooney.

Sharon Stone put George Clooney on the auction block Wednesday for a good cause: AIDS research.

Clooney and his Ocean’s Thirteen co-stars Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia and Ellen Barkin made a brief appearance at the annual Cinema Against AIDS dinner, which raised a record $7 million for the Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR).

As Clooney and his castmates auctioned off a seven-day Mediterranean getaway on a private boat, Stone announced: “If you bid, one of these guys will come down and touch you. And you can choose which one.”

But the choice was clear. With flourish – and on stage – Clooney promptly kissed the lucky girlfriend of the winning bidder, who’d ponied up $350,000.

At least the money goes to a good cause.  Must be nice to make it rain like that so your girl can get kissed on by old man Clooney.

George Clooney has been named People magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ for the second time. He first won the award in 1997.  The 45 year-old winner claimed, “Brad’s going to be upset,” referring to good pal Brad Pitt

On his vow to “never marry again” – and whether he’s changed his mind:
“The truth is, I haven’t softened my position on anything, but it’s not something I deal with on a regular basis. Who knows? I’ve been married (in the early ’90s, to actress Talia Balsam). It’s not something I’m looking out for. The truth is, I’m really happy.”

On what he finds attractive:
“Everybody says this, but sense of humor is No. 1 for me. It’s certainly what’s most attractive. It’s not the first thing you notice at 21, but it’s the first thing you notice now. You also have to have a sense of humor about my life. It certainly has had an effect on relationships, but I would bet less of an effect than my own issues or insecurities. You can’t really blame outside forces for things not working out. You have to take some responsibility.”

On whether he’ll ever have children:
“I think it’s the most responsible thing you can do, to have kids. It’s not something to be taken lightly. I don’t have that gene that people have to replicate. But everything in my life has changed over time.”

Mel Gibson was arrested early Friday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.  According to police reports Gibson was traveling 87 mph in a 45 mph zone.  He also failed a field breath test.

The Israeli-Hezbollah war continues to rage on. Friday Hezbollah launched over a hundred rockets into Israel.

In a statement released by Hizbullah, the group called the attack an “implementation of the promise and decision and in response to the brutal aggression (by Israel).”

President Bush welcomed the finalists of the latest season of American Idol to the White House. Bush called the visit the ‘highlight’ of his day. He gave them a tour of the oval house and posed for photos with all.

Taylor Hicks of Birmingham, Ala., the most recent winner on the show, also gave Bush a black T-shirt emblazoned with “Soul Patrol” _ the name of Hicks’ fan club. Hicks has a personal connection inside the White House: Susan Whitson, Laura Bush’s press secretary, taught him ninth grade English at Hoover High School in Birmingham.

126 people have died in California due to the latest heat wave.  The heat has also killed over 25,000 cattle.

Actor George Clooney and director Steven Soderbergh have split.  Clooney has left Soderbergh and their film company to start a new production company at Warner Brothers.

Lost Action Hero

George Clooney is stealing the action movie roles from Tom Cruise now.  Cruise has always had first dibs on scripts coming out of Hollywood, but George Clooney is being offered the role in the yet-to-be filmed action thriller.

“There isn’t a major studio that will offer Tom Cruise a $200 million movie now,� one source told me. “There’s going to be a big reconsideration now of what he should do next.�
