Tim Gunn may always see the true potential of his Project Runway mentees, but even with all his years of experience in the fashion industry he doesn’t believe that Jersey Shore’s Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi can “make it work”.

During a recent interview on George Lopez’s late night talkshow, Lopez Tonight, Gunn was asked which reality show was a “worse influence on style” – The Jersey Shore or The Real Housewives.

Let me put it this way, at least the housewives – absence of taste level or not – make an attempt to dress up. The Jersey Shore people, what is that?!

The buttoned-up fashionista (Yes, I checked – a man who is into fashion is still called a fashionista!) was then shown a recent photos of the Jersey Shore cast and literally looked like he was about to lose his lunch.

It’s all that stretch material: the spandex, the lurex, the tightness, the skin. It’s vulgar, I’m sorry… And what is Snooki wearing on her legs?!

They’re called pink fuzzy bunny slippers, Tim.  What, are those not on the runways in Milan yet?

George Lopez had some not-so-friendly words for Dancing With the Stars competitor Kirstie Alley after she made her debut last Monday. He even went as far as to compare her to a dancing pig. As the Twitter war raged on between the two, it was clear Lopez had backed himself into a tough spot.

On The Billy Bush Show Friday, Lopez said:

”[It was] poor judgment. As they say in my world of golf, ‘bad form on my part . I’ve apologized. I think she’s accepted my apology, I wish that she had and that she would be guest on ‘Lopez Tonight.’ I would love to have her on.”

Alley kept up her front for a while Tweeting back:

“I don’t consider “I misjudged the joke” an apology. sorta like a husband saying”I misjudged putting my d**k in a wh**e” …sorry hon..hehe.”

Yikes! But eventually, she gave in, making it all a joke:

“take life as lightly as u can and then move on …even u George ….u are forgiven…..:)…” “

It always makes me laugh to see who’s team people are on.. We are creatures of competition… Myself included.”

“God I love it when women get riled up!!! Hell, we can rule the damn world when we get a purpose … And when we’re pissed!!… Hehe,”

I’m just glad he apologized. That was a low blow, George.

Following her amazing debut Monday night on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, comedian George Lopez criticized Kirstie Alley on his show, and even went as far as to compare her to a pig.

Tuesday night, while giving his monologue on Lopez Tonight, George reviewed the first episode, and instead of talking about her dancing, went right after Alley’s weight, which she has famously and publicly struggled with. He said:

“She did a nice job, her little hooves tapping away. Before the show she went to the market, then she had roast beef, and this is her going all the way home,”

After the comments, he cut to a clip of a recent Geico commercial with a pig squealing.

Seriously, George? You’re not funny. Never have been. And you owe her an apology.
