Actress Kaylee DeFer, best known for playing con artist Ivy Dickens in The CW’s hit show “Gossip Girl,” is currently single as she confirmed she recently called off her longtime engagement to jewelry designer Mike Pereira.

The 25 year-old admitted the two amicably decided to go their separate ways since their relationship had run its course. Kaylee is also enjoying being single with more time for herself and her friends.

“I was engaged for a long time and this is me being single. I’m totally OK with it, so I’m spreading my love now,” Kaylee said. “I think sometimes you just realize it’s time to move on. So now I’m spreading my love and being single, and it’s fine. Really.”

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, but Kaylee will not be spending it by herself. “I’m going to sit down with a group of friends and make a bunch of old school Valentines like you did back in the day. We’ll send them out to all of these people from your past, present and people you want to get to know,” Kaylee told Us. “Because who doesn’t want to have a Valentine on Valentine’s Day?”

While Blair is preparing for her bridal show, her relationship with Dan (played by Penn Badgley) continues to grow.

“The one relationship I’d love to play out is Blair and Dan,” Leighton told TVGuide. Penn said: “I like the Blair [story line] because it’s the most exciting for Dan as a person.”

Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester is suing her mother, Constance Meester, claiming that money the actress sent to her younger brother was intercepted by her mother and used for plastic surgeries, Botox and hair extensions.

Supposedly, Constance refused to work, so Leighton, feeling bad for her little brother, who suffers from severe medical issues, decided she would provide $7,500 for her mother to provide for him. Constance ended up using the money for personal expenses, even cosmetic surgeries.

The suit also claims that Constance tried to convince Leighton they had an oral agreement that she would provide her mother with $10,000 a month for life, which Leighton says is a total lie. The actress also said her mother threatened her with a $3 million lawsuit if she didn’t start providing the money they had agreed on.

According to sources, Blake Lively is fed up with behind-the-scenes fights and drama on the Gossip Girl set. Blake, 25, has threatened to quit the show, and even asked producers to kill off her character, Serena Van Der Woodsen, so she could have a dramatic exit.

An on-set source said:

“Blake has asked producers to kill off her character.  She’s tired of working on the show. It was great at the beginning, but she’s started to get bored of her storylines and all the petty fights on set.”

The source also added that the only reason Blake has stayed with the show is because she gets to work with her boyfriend Penn Badgley:

“Nearly all the cast members have had some kind of bust –up.  Besides the fact that she gets to work with her boyfriend, Blake wants to leave.”

D-RAMA! Is any of this really surprising to you? It seems to me that it would be near impossible to work on a set like Gossip Girl without drama.
