Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, who recently admitted to have suffered from a alcohol addiction, is completely head over heels in love with a 22 year-old painter named Rosanne Coker, whom he met while she worked as a production assistant on “Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince” back in 2007.

The actor was able to finally replace alcohol with a much healthier addiction. Rosanne and Daniel have reportedly been dating for a year, and she is currently dividing her time between her family home in Surrey, England and his Manhattan pad. The lovebirds were caught by paparazzi while taking a stroll hand-in-hand in New York a couple of days ago.

He may be a movie star (and currently a Broadway star), but at 22-years-old he’s seen his fair share of the dark side. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II star Daniel Radcliffe recently opened up to GQ U.K. about his addiction to alcohol and how it drastically changed his life.

Daniel Radcliffe Worried About An Eighth Harry Potter Book

The actor revealed:

“I became so reliant on alcohol to enjoy stuff. There were a few years there when I was just so enamored with the idea of living some sort of famous person’s lifestyle that really isn’t suited to me.”

Radcliffe, who appeared in the first Harry Potter film when he was only 11, said he’s thankful the paparazzi didn’t catch on to his dirty little secret:

“I really got away with that because there were many instances when a paparazzi shot like that could have been taken.”

Daniel Radcliffe Is Sleeping His Way Around Broadway?

Sober since 2010, Racliffe went on to tell the magazine that his life as slowed down quite a bit:

“As much as I would love to be a person that goes to parties and has a couple of drinks and has a nice time, that doesn’t work for me. I’m actually enjoying the fact I can have a relationship with my girlfriend where I’m really pleasant and I’m not f–king up totally all the time. There’s no shame in enjoying the quiet life. And that’s been the realization of the past few years for me.”

The last Harry Potter film hits theatres July 15.

Since he apparently texted her in the middle of the night, Rowling kept him waiting in agony, but eventually responded:

“She wrote back that she was so pleased with my performance in ‘Harry Potter 7: Part 1′ that as a reward, she promised to never write another book about Harry.”

The actor is currently starring in the Broadway show How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and said he’s been so busy with the show, he hasn’t even had time to think about filming the final movie:

Twilight star, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Harry Potter actress, Bonnie Wright, who reportedly started dating almost two years ago in 2009, have confirmed they recently got engaged.

“I’m engaged. I’m very happy.” The actor added, “It’s a wonderful, wonderful time.”

Bonnie and Jamie have been very private. Despite months of speculation, the couple only confirmed they were, in fact, dating when they made a public appearance together at the BAFTAs back in February 2010.

Jamie, who also appeared in Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2, did not reveal how they got engaged and if they had set a wedding. “We are, but I won’t say when and I won’t say where. . .or how,” he said.

In a recent interview with Dazed and Confused Magazine, Radcliffe, 21,  joked about being excited to “hang out” (cough, cough) around beautiful Broadway dancers in his upcoming musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying :

“I said to a friend the other day, ‘Dude, I’m doing a show with dancers. I’ve got to be single. He was like, ‘Don’t sleep with anyone in your show. That’s a mistake.’ It’s good advice. But I’m not sure I’ll stick to it.”

This isn’t Radcliffe’s first time on the Broadway stage. He starred in a production of Equus, for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award in 2008. Might I add, he was completely full-on nude in the production, which I saw twice. Yes, I’ve seen Harry Potter’s business….and I’m not complaining.
