When I first got this email about Heather Locklear’s new movie, ‘Flirting With Forty’, I immediately thought it was a new reality TV show. But contrary to my first response, it’s actually a made-for-TV movie starting Locklear and the hunky Robert Buckley.

Here is a brief rundown as to what the movie is about.  It sounds pretty true to life for Heather.

Jackie (Heather Locklear) is a divorced mother of two on the brink of her 40th birthday. When her kids go to stay with her ex for the holidays, Jackie takes a chance on a magical vacation and finds herself in the middle of an unexpected romance with a much younger (and hunkier) man (Robert Buckley). It’s not long before she realizes that life only begins at 40. Based on the book by Jane Porter.

The movie premieres on Lifetime this Saturday, December 6th, at 9pm ET/PT.

If Robert Buckley looks familiar then you probably recognize him from ‘Lipstick Jungle’ or ‘Fashion House.’ The film seems eerily similar to the role that Buckley plays as Kirby Atwood on ‘Jungle.’

For the record Heather is flirting with 50. She turned 47 back in September.

The wheels continue to come off the track for Heather Locklear.  The sexy starlet was busted and arrested for DUI in Montecito, California late on Saturday night. She passed the drunk test but the cops quickly realized she was stoned off of a prescription drug.

Locklear, 47, was booked for suspicion of driving, while high on prescription drugs on Saturday before she made bail out of the Santa Barbara County Jail at about 11:30 p.m., authorities said.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff released a mug shot of the fried actress, with running mascara and dark roots showing through her bleached blonde hair.

The actress was in the filthy rich community of Montecito at about 4:30 p.m., when she caught the attention of a concerned driver, cops said.

“She [Locklear] was observed by a citizen pulling out of a parking lot and the woman [witness] thought she [Locklear] was driving really erratically,” CHP spokesman Tom Marhsall said.

Locklear passed tests to show she wasn’t drunk, but cops figured out she was impaired on an undisclosed prescription drug, officials said.

Earlier this year cops were called to Locklear’s home back in May when a 911 call was made out of fear for Locklear’s safety.

Heather also spent time in a psych ward in June to get help with depression/anxiety.

Actress Heather Locklear has entered a psych ward/treatment center (Hollywood’s nice word for it) to help deal with her depression and anxiety issues.

“Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment,” says Locklear’s rep, Cece Yorke. “This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released.”

Did Denise Richards stealing Locklear’s ex-husband last year start the fall of dominoes that have landed sweet Heather in the Arizona treatment center? Or perhaps is the reason given by Locklear’s reps a cover for a drug or alcohol problem?

After dominating the 80’s and 90’s it’s understandable how Heather might be depressed in today’s Hollywood.

Heather Locklear is completely OK and not a threat to herself or others after firefighters responded Saturday night to a 911 call that directed them to the blonde bombshell’s California home.

Capt. Barry Parker of the Ventura County Fire Department tells TMZ they received a 911 call last night and went to Locklear’s home in Thousand Oaks, but the call did not originate from her home. An engine, a squad and two ambulances were dispatched. When they arrived, they spoke to Heather and found “no problem.”

Phoenix called 911 twice in the course of a week about two months ago.  He has also called his great granddad and a handful of other people just by playing with the cordless phone.

Heather Locklear might be 45 years old but she shouldn’t have any complaints. As you can see ‘Father Time’ has been more than kind to the ageless actress.

Golden actress Heather Locklear is on the cover of the new Shape magazine. It is the fourth time in her career she has had the honor. Heather is 45 and in the best shape of her life according to her.

“I look at these covers (1984, 1988, and 1990) now and think, Wow, nice body.â€? “I may be “of a certain age…I feel more confident about myself now than I did 20 years ago.  And I can honestly say I look better today.â€?

“There are times when I feel lazy and just want to staying bed all day…but I know that working out is the best way to get those endorphins going, which will make me feel better, which will make me feel better emotionally and physically.â€?

“To help me stay positive at 7 a.m. while I’m putting on my gym clothes, I say things like, ‘Oh lunges! I love lunges! Let’s do another set!’�

“Ava’s a great eater. (Heather’s daughter) She only eat things like fruits and vegetable and sushi – no junk food…It’s ironic because I want to set a good example for her with my eating habits, and she’s the one who’s helping me!”

“It’s my girlfriends who lift me up when I need it the most.â€?

“I’ve learned it’s really important to make time for me.â€?

“Neither of us remembers why she said it, but the message was to enjoy life and have fun.  And boy, did I have fun!  My priorities have changed as I’ve gotten older.  I still want to have fun, but now that philosophy translates to good health, good friends, good food, and good roles.â€?

“This is my second chapter.  It’s my chance to focus on Ava, on myself and on what I want to do.  The thing I’ve learned in my 40s is that when you look out your window, you have to look past the windowsills.  There is life beyond my little home.”
