Hillary Clinton Angry Answer To Mention Of Husband Bill Clinton (Video)

Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton completely snapped, lost her temper when someone asked a question that was lost in translation about what her husband Bill Clinton’s thoughts during a news conference in Congo on Monday (August 10).

“You want me to tell you what my husband thinks? My husband is not secretary of state, I am,” an obviously annoyed Clinton said sharply. “If you want my opinion, I will tell you my opinion. I am not going to be channeling my husband.”

It turns out the question was not about good Bill but about President Barack Obama’s opinion on China and it was just a really bad translation error.  Bill made headlines last week for one of the biggest achievements in recent USA history, when he returned from North Korea with two free journalists, Laura Ling and Euna Lee.

Hillary Clinton to Become Secretary of State

Reports are indicating that Hillary Clinton has accepted Barack Obama’s offer to become his Secretary of State according to The Guardian.

Obama’s advisers have begun looking into Bill Clinton’s foundation, which distributes millions of dollars to Africa to help with development, to ensure that there is no conflict of interest. But Democrats do not believe that the vetting is likely to be a problem.

Women have taken over the role of Sec. of State in the past two decades.  Hillary will follow Condoleezza Rice who has been Sec. of State since January of 2005.  It is a bit ironic that the first female Secretary of State, Madeline Albright, was appointed by Hillary’s husband and former president, Bill Clinton.

So Hillary wasn’t the first President or Vice President.  She can smile being the third female Secretary of State, right?

Clinton would be well placed to become the country’s dominant voice in foreign affairs, replacing Condoleezza Rice. Since being elected senator for New York, she has specialised in foreign affairs and defence. Although she supported the war in Iraq, she and Obama basically agree on a withdrawal of American troops.

Good for Hillary!  Secretary of State beats being the Vice President any day of the year.  It won’t be easy on Hillary as SOS.  She will be rough, tough, and hopefully gentle when needed in her new role.
