Radio and TV personality Howard Stern has officially joined “America’s Got Talent” as a jugde, replacing CNN host Piers Morgan in the upcoming season of the NBC’s hit talent show.

AGT producers allegedly wanted the King Of All Media to join their team so badly that they decided to move the whole show to New York City to allow Howard to continue working on his radio show.

I cannot wait to see just how far Howard will go with his critics. Fellow judge Howie Mandel, who replaced David Hasselhoff last year, is also excited to welcome his new controversial colleague.

Mandel told TMZ, “I couldn’t be happier. As my Mom always says, you can never have enough Howies.”

And guess who’s not happy with Howard’s new gig? The Parents Television Council claim primetime TV is no place for a guy like Howard Stern, “a performer who is synonymous with shock, profanity and obscenity.”

Oh, please! I’m positive Howard knows how to tame it down and become more appropriate for primetime TV. The guy is controversial, but not stupid.

In a recent interview, Robin Quivers, co-host on the famous radio show the Howard Stern Show, insinuated that after 30 years, she may be leaving her good friend Howard in the dust.

“I love to do radio and television and I’ve always wanted my own television show, so I’ve been putting out feelers for those kinds of things. (I could) express myself in ways that I don’t necessarily get to express myself on our show.”

She added:

“It will be like a talk show, but with subjects that I’d be interested in. I think I have some interesting things to say and I don’t think anybody out there is saying them.”

Quivers and Stern met in Washington, D.C. in 1981 and have worked together ever since.

Wow! It would be nuts to even consider her not being a part of the show anymore. It’ll never happen!

R&B singer Brandy, 31, recently revealed on Dancing With the Stars that she hasn’t been intimate with a man in six years. She went on to tell Life & Style Magazine more details (that no one cares about) on her ever-so-virginal life:

“I haven’t been with a man seriously and in love in six years. And, honestly, I tend to abstain if I’m not in a relationship.”

While it hasn’t exactly been six years, she says:

“It’s been a long time. We’re talking years.”

Brandy went on to admit she once a crush on rapper Flo Rida:

Last week, radio personality Howard Stern had some beef with Brandy’s ‘Dancing’ partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who he said was getting a little too “comfortable” with his partner:

“This guy is yelling at her, giving her the business about how she has to work harder. She’s being a good sport about it, pretending like this actually matters if they’re dancing the f***ing samba correctly. All of the sudden, while he’s training her he starts smacking her on the ass.”

“This guy is training a woman, a black woman. You know when a man walks by a woman and makes a sound like she’s a fine horse? He’s smacking her on the ass like she’s his personal property, like back in the slave days. I was astounded they were showing this on TV.”

FOX News anchor Megyn Kelly was a guest on Howard Stern’s radio show this morning (Tuesday, April 20). The 39 year-old confessed she was very nervous about being interviewed by the radio King, who has admitted to love watching FOX News because of hot FOXy chicks like Megyn.

“Yes I am a little nervous and a little excited about going into the lion’s den with Howard Stern,” Megyn told her Fox News Channel cohorts. “I know sort of what to expect but I don’t know exactly what to expect. I’m hoping he’s gonna be gentle cause I’ve heard he likes the show. Hopefully he likes me enough not to completely humiliate me.”

Of course Megyn will not lose this opportunity to make Howard answer some of her questions. Good luck, Megyn. “I really want to know what it’s like to be Howard Stern and what it’s like now that he has no restrictions put on him. There he is over at Sirius radio. You know, it’s not like he has to fight the wars he used to have to fight on terrestrial radio, so is it boring? Does he enjoy having no holds barred or does he sort of miss being the rulebreaker?,” she said.

Actor Jamie Foxx clearly wasn’t warned about what happens with who dares to mess with Howard Stern. During his Sirius radio show called Foxxhole, Jamie and his co-hosts slammed Howard and Robin Quivers for their recent comments on Oscar-nominated “Precious” actress, Gabourey Sidibe.

Foxxhole hosts attacked the weakest link, Robin, and said she is too afraid to stand up to Howard. In conclusion, the things got even uglier than when Jamie decided to be a complete jerk and make fun of Miley Cyrus for her teeth and told her to do a sex tape and try heroin (more details/audio here). Jamie, who also has a teenage daughter, regretted his comments and apologized to both Miley and her dad Billy Ray Cyrus.

Anyway Howard Stern strikes back and implies Jamie is gay with several allusions to the fact his radio show is called Foxxhole (hole!) and claiming that he knows too many dirty things about Jamie (and his sexuality!?!)- listen to audio below.

Howard says: “I know sh*t about Jamie that maybe won’t be so comfortable for him. [I know] a lot of weird sh*t about him. I got a shitload of stuff on Jamie that’s not a lot of fun. And . . . you know the name Jamie Foxx – it’s interesting that he chose the name Jamie. I can go into the whole f**king deal.”

“He wants to get some attention for his show on the channel the FOX HOLE . . .that’s an interesting name too . . the hole. I wonder which HOLE they’re referring to. How many holes are in Jamie. He’s got an as* and he’s got a mouth, and I don’t know what he does with them.”

In the end, Howard dared Jamie Foxx to come to his show, talk “sh*t” to his face and promised to expose what he really knows about the actor. Uh oh! This is looking pretty ugly for Jamie. There is only one rule in showbiz – do NOT mess with Howard Stern! – and Jamie is going to learn that the hard way.

According to PageSix, American Idol producers are desperate to hire radio star Howard Stern to replace Simon Cowell, who will be embracing a new project (the American X-Factor), on the next season of the show.

A source connected to “Idol” said, “It’s one of the few shows that could compete with Stern’s $100 million-a-year Sirius contract, and ‘Idol’ bosses think he’d be even nastier than Simon.

“They know he would be great TV and would clash with the other judges such as Ellen DeGeneres and the contestants. ‘Idol’ will do what it takes to sign him.”

The brutally honest highest paid raid host announced that his exclusive contract with Sirius XM Radio ends in January 2011 and he is open to other offers. However Howard isn’t exactly excited about getting a new job that would require him to travel the country and live in Los Angeles during a big part of the year.

Howard is probably playing hard to get in an attempt to make a good deal with Sirius and then consider if he wants or not to do Idol on the side. He recently said, “I was approached by a major TV network to take over a TV show and leave here and do that next year — and I did turn it down . . . I’m not even sure if I want to be working. I’m waiting to see what happens.”

I would love to see Howard as a judge. If you think Simon is mean and nasty, Howard would be over the top honest with no fear of hurting anyone’s feelings. He would be merciless!

Artie Lange has been finally released from the Jersey City Medical Center after he reportedly stabbed himself nine times with a 13-inch Wolfgang Puck kitchen knife in what was considered as a suicide attempt (read more details) at his apartment in New Jersey on Saturday (January 2, 2010).

Artie was bleeding on the floor when he was found by his mother, Judith Lange, who came by his apartment to bring him food. Judith called 911 at exactly 9:36 am. Police ruled the incident as a suicide attempt and will not conduct an investigation.

Howard Stern’s sidekick has admitted to suffer from depression, to be battling a heroin addiction and to have tried suicide at least once before, when his dad suffered an accident that paralyzed and ultimately killed him in his memoir book “Too Fat To Fish”, which was released back in 2008. Get well Artie!!

“We all have our demons,” Howard Stern said on-air this week, referring to Lange’s past battles with addiction. “Artie has given this show tremendous moments of great comedy. He’s a tremendous contributor. He is a good man. Don’t forget how great he is.”

Artie’s mom found the comedian all bloody on the floor of his Hoboken apartment on Saturday morning (January 2) and immediately called 911. Artie’s rep had released a statement saying he did not want to disclose any information about his health and would like to keep this matter private. Our thoughts and prayers are with Artie and his family now. We wish Artie a fast physical and emotional recovery.

Howard Stern’s naughty sidekick Artie Lange was admitted to a local New Jersey hospital earlier today.

Lange’s rep released the following statement to TMZ.

“I can confirm that Artie is in the hospital. Artie has chosen to keep all information on this matter between him and his doctor. There will be no further comment.”
