British romantic comedy actor Hugh Grant was reportedly in talks to replace Charlie Sheen on CBS‘s Two and a Half Men, being offered $1 million an episode, but has backed out due to creative differences.

Charlie Sheen Slams Jon Cryer: “He’s a Traitor and Troll”

Following Sheen’s mental breakdown of the century, Warner Bros and CBS had said they were pursuing “an A-lister.” Well, Grant would’ve certainly been a good choice, and let’s face it: he hasn’t had a hit in who knows how long? His last film Did You Hear About the Morgans? wasn’t exactly a blockbuster.

Elizabeth Hurley Shines at Pink Ribbon Ball

Elizabeth Hurley Pink Ribbon Ball

Elizabeth Hurley seems to always dazzle and be the princess of the ball.  Tuesday night was no exception as she did just that at the ‘Pink Ribbon Ball’ in Amsterdam.

It’s still hard to look at Liz and not think of what a big ‘boner’-head Hugh Grant was back in 1995 with Divine Brown.  But without that incident we wouldn’t have what has become known as ‘Grant Syndrome’.

Hugh Grant won’t be Charged over Baked Beans

Photo: Hugh Grant

Hugh Grant won’t face charges for his throwing baked beans at a paparazzi photographer earlier this year. He also will avoid prosecution for allegedly kicking the same photog.

She added that it had also advised the police that it was “not in the public interest” to prosecute the star over the baked beans claim.

“We have advised the police that there is insufficient evidence to charge Hugh Grant with any offence in relation to an allegation that he kicked a photographer,” she said.

“This is because there were clear discrepancies between the accounts of independent witnesses and those of the photographers involved.

“In relation to a second allegation involving a take away food container, the CPS decided that a prosecution would not be in the public interest.”
