Singer Mariah Carey tripped while making her big entrance at ‘The Jay Leno Show‘ on Monday (November 2). The singer, who has been gaining a lot of weight and is rumored to be pregnant (photos), joked about the situation and said it had been all choreographed to scare Jay Leno.
Mariah, happily married to Nick Cannon, is currently promoting her new movie ‘Precious’ for which she has been acclaimed by the critics. The movie had such a big impact on producer Tyler Perry that he felt the need to reveal his horrible experience of abuse as a child (read more details).
Comedienne Chelsea Handler, who has her own talk show ‘Chelsea Lately’, visited Jay Leno and was surprised with her own cover of December 2009 holiday issue of Playboy Magazine on Wednesday (October 29) - photos below.
The 34 year-old claims her pop is going to love her cover because he think she is very sexual and jokes about quitting drinking for like a day and a half to get in shape for the photo shoot (watch video below). When Jay asked her to strike a similar sexy pose to that on the cover, Chelsea cracked, “We need the guy that airbrushed me to come back.”
“Kate Plus 8” star Kate Gosselin shows she can poke fun at herself by making a special guest appearance at Jay Leno’s own version of TMZ, which he calls JMZ, on Wednesday (October 7).

Kanye was on the verge of tears when Jay asked what would his mother Donda, who he was really close to before she tragically died in 2007, say. The 32 year-old emotionally apologized for the third time (first two times via his blog – read original apology here) and it seems like he finally meant it. It is not easy to be hated by everyone and Kanye is an artist he needs an audience – there was no other way out, - he just had to apologize.
The rapper also said he would like to apologize to Taylor Swift in person. I think Taylor is a talented girl, who sold millions of albums, and she does deserve respect for how far she has made it at such a young age.
Talk show host Jay Leno was hospitalized today. A rep has confirmed, Jay wasn’t feeling well but still drove himself and checked himself into a Los Angeles, California, hospital. NBC canceled Thursday’s taping of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and will rerun the March 26 show with a special musical performance by Prince.
Jay is still in the hospital for observation but the nature of Leno’s illness is still unknown. We will keep you updated…
