R&B star Beyonce leaving the 2009 MTV European Music Awards along with husband/rapper Jay-Z.  Beyonce performed at the awards show in a flashy red lingerie piece that showed off her the good (her famous legs) and the bad (her infamous stretch marks).

Rapper Beanie Sigel debuted a new song titled ‘Average Cat’ on Hot 97 on Friday morning (October 30). The song caused stir because it is used to diss Jay-Z referring to his real name Shawn Carter and an incident that occurred at a tribute concert on September 11.

Sigel’s lyrics: “The rapper Shawn called the police on me ’cause I was front row at the Blue Print 3.” However, Siegel claims this doesn’t mean that everybody can now start dissing his mentor Jay-Z.

“This ain’t the green light for everybody to start making diss Jay-Z records,” Sigel said, adding that “this just me taking my brother out in the yard for 5 minutes.” It is common sense - everyone knows it is not a good idea to start a fight with Jay-Z and Sigel probably just wants to create buzz for some good publicity.

Rapper Jay-Z finally sat down for an interview with Oprah for the Oprah Winfrey Show on Thursday (September 24). The two had already had a chance to talk when Oprah accompanied Jay-Z on his return to the roots, his childhood home in Brooklyn’s tough Marcy Housing Projects, for the Oprah Magazine.

Oprah asked the hip-hop mogul about his drug dealing past, his difficult relationship with his father and his marriage to super sexy Beyonce. When asked about Rihanna and Chris Brown’s domestic violence case, Jay-Z revealed he told her to become a hero for women who have been through the same situation (watch video below).

“It’s one of those situations where she’s young, they’re both young,” Jay-Z said. ” … There’s a contention of young people who are going through the same things, and no one hears their voice. She can be their hero. Or she can choose not to grow from this.”

Almost a week after Kanye West’s infamous VMA outburst during Taylor Swift’s speech (watch video here), Jay-Z finally spoke up to defend Kanye’s passionate personality, claiming the incident was blown out of proportion.

Jay-Z said, “It’s an awards show. He’s just a super passionate person. Of course it was rude, because it was her moment, but that’s the way he really felt. I think it was rude, but the way they’re treating him…He’s on the cover of every paper. He didn’t kill anybody. No one got harmed.”

“”I think it’s a bit blown out. It was pretty rude. At the end of the day, we’re gonna celebrate him for his passion more than vilify him. As he grows and matures, he has to balance that.” Jay-Z added, “I don’t think he should lay low. I think he should move on and have a brilliant career.”

And I don’t think we are ready to celebrate Kanye unless it includes calling him a jackass (hey, Prez Obama said it!). Beyonce Knowles certainly agrees with us because she also thought Taylor’s moment had been stolen when she called the country singer back up during her VOY speech (watch video here).

It has been said Jay-Z could have been mad at Beyonce for not having Kanye’s back since he is a part of the Roc family. Mad or not, the truth is Beyonce did the right thing, acted like a lady and certainly deserves respect for the great artist that she is too!

When the sexy 80 million dollar ex- Destiny’s Child married the 82 million dollar mogul, a 162 million dollar empire was created. That’s how much the dynamic duo earned from June 1, 2007 to June 1, 2008. In one year! The list of top-paid power couples also includes Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.

“Naturally powerful people tend to gravitate towards other powerful people,” explains clinical psychologist and celebrity researcher Jim Houran, for reasons that range from proximity (stars hang around other stars) to familiarity (people are attracted, at least initially, to others like them) to clearer expectations (shared priorities make it easier for celebrities to relate). Hollyscoop is reporting that R&B star Beyonce Knowles is pregnant with rapper/husband Jay-Z’s baby. You probably remember their very strange and rushed wedding just four weeks ago. Well there likely was a reason for the nitro wedding.

Hollyscoop has learned exclusively through multiple sources that Beyonce is expecting. A source close to the couple revealed, “Beyonce is 100% pregnant, which is why the couple rushed their wedding.” The source also told Hollyscoop that all the friends and family that attended the ultra private wedding were all aware that Beyonce was already expecting.

Our source added that Beyonce is in her early stages, but don’t expect this star to come out with a confirmation statement anytime soon.

Two high profile shot-gun music collaborations in the same month? First there was news of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz engagement and Ashlee’s strongly rumored pregnancy. Now it looks as if there is going to be a Rocafella Jr. up in the club.

Singer Beyonce and longtime rapper boyfriend Jay-Z got married Friday night in New York according to PEOPLE magazine.  The two created a buzz yesterday when they went to apply for a marriage license together.

The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the rapper’s Tribeca apartment that drew Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny’s Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

The lavish ceremony had many people in motion to make sure everything was in place last night.

Early Friday morning, workers erected a white tent atop the building in Tribeca, where Jay-Z owns a penthouse apartment. Not long after, an SUV carrying what seemed to be AV equipment arrived, followed by deliveries of party rentals and flowers.

A source tells PEOPLE that Amy’s Orchids was hired to provide 50,000 to 60,000 white orchid blooms from Thailand for a “big party.” At the apartment, waiters were seen practicing their service.

The two had been dating since 2001.  It is the first marriage for both stars.  Jay-Z is twelve years older than his beautiful 24-year-old bride.
