Jennifer Lawrence took a tumble last night at the Academy Awards on the way up the stairs to accept her Best Actress statue. Lucky for her, anyone can look graceful falling when they’re wearing Dior Haute Couture.

“You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell — it’s really embarrassing,” Lawerence told the audience after falling. “This is nuts!”

After accepting her award for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, she told reporters in the press room what was going through her mind when she fell. “What went through my mind when I fell down? A bad word that I can’t say that starts with ‘F,’” she said.

She continued: “What do you mean, ‘What happened?’ Look at my dress! I tried to walk up stairs in this dress.  That’s what happened. I don’t actually . . .  I think I just stepped on the fabric and they waxed the stairs.”

The Victory Tour poster, which features survivors Katniss (played by Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), has been revealed. The winners are shown wearing “bridal-like” clothes for the poster.

The second film, Catching Fire, is set to his theatres on Nov. 22.

The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence is showing some skin on the cover of German Interview magazine.

The 21-year-old actress is clad in an edgy, bedazzled body suit, and is sporting a sleek blowout, smokey eyes and a star painted on her cheek.

Lawrence told the magazine that she has her eyes on less action-packed role. ”I want to be Bridget Jones,” she said.

And while the Hunger Games is sure to turn her in to a household name, she isn’t living in the lap of luxury just yet. ”When I get my first real check, I want to bathe in a pool full of pasta,” she said.

Wait, what counts as a “real” check in Hollywood?

“The Hunger Games” directed by Gary Ross is based on Suzanne Collins’ novel (a trilogy) with the same title. The highly anticipated movie is currently being shot in North Carolina, and is set to hit theaters on March 23, 2012. The sequel “Catching Fire” is set to be released in November 2013.

“I’d rather look a little chubby on camera and look like a person in real life, than to look great onscreen and look like a scarecrow in real life.”

On attending the Oscar parties:

“I went to the Vanity Fair [Oscar] party for a cool 15 minutes. And then I took off. I’m like a little old lady. I’m always tired around midnight…I mean it was cool to see Elton John, and I met Billy Crystal, which was amazing, but yeah, I’m mostly just kind of uncomfortable.”

On the success of her film Winter’s Bone:

“I cried when we got into Sundance. I never saw any of this coming.”
