MTV has confirmed that the sixth season of the Jersey Shore will be the last.

Filming for the latest season of the reality show recently finished and is set to premiere on Thursday, October 4.

The cast members of the show had only signed on for six seasons of the show, and suspected it would be their last. They were notified today about the show’s cancellation.

“The world just got another Guido!!! Lorenzo Dominic LaValle has entered the world weighing 6 lbs, 5 oz. Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great!” MTV announced on the reality star’s behalf.

Snooki, 24, took to her Twitter to share the news with her fans. ”Being a mom is an amazing feeling!!! I love my little man to death! Jionni is such a cute dad,” she wrote. “I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic.”

I’m sure he’s already got a spray tan. Fist pumps for the new family!

A day after several members of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” cast were involved in an ugly bar brawl, Deena Cortese was arrested for public intoxication in Seaside Heights, New Jersey (see pictures/video below).

It’s a baby boy for Snooki (aka Nicole Polizzi) and her fiancé Jionni LaValle! The 24 year-old Jersey Shore star revealed she is expecting a baby boy and the couple has already started discussing baby names.

“Everyone said I was going to have a boy, and they were right!” the Jersey Shore star reveals exclusively to In Touch. “I thought it was going to be a girl. I was hoping it would be, because all girls want girls. It’s still my baby, no matter what. I’m excited either way!”

If you thought Snooki would be a regular pregnant guidette craving pickles and sex, you are deadly wrong. “I love anything cold and juicy, like Italian ices,” she said. “Our sex life is hardly there! I just feel too icky and gross. I’m so not in the mood to do stuff. ”

“I would never want to hurt that girl’s [Snooki’s] feelings. That girl is very special to me,” he said. “If I could turn back the clock, [even though] I always say that I have no regrets … definitely hurting her feelings … and our friendship.”

MTV has confirmed that pregnant Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, 22, who is expecting her first child with fiance Jionni LaVelle, WILL appear in the sixth season of the Jersey Shore.

“While things will definitely be a little different this time when they hit the boardwalk, their trademark hilarity and family dysfunction will remain the same,” MTV added.

The show is set to begin filming this summer.

In last night’s episode of the MTV hit reality show Jersey Shore, Vinny Guadagnino left the show, claiming that he was suffering from exhaustion and anxiety.

Earlier in the show, Guadagnino told his roommates he was unhappy in the house. “It’s best for me. I’ve got to get myself better and here I’m suffering,” Vinny told his best friend and co-star Pauly D.”I’m not happy. I’m doing what’s best for myself and that’s it.”

“I want you to come and get me. I’ve been strong, I’m a fighter but there is no fight left in me. So I’ve made the decision, I’m going to leave here,” the reality star told his family.

It’s unclear whether Guadagnino will return to the show later in the season.
