Oh Simon Cowell, how I love thee.

X Factor judge/creator/official black t-shirt wearer, Simon Cowell was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night and besides talking about what makes his U.K.-born talent competition better than its competitors and giving J-Fal awkward “hand hugs”, the brutally honest Brit was gushing about his love for The Jersey Shore.

Are we surprised?  Is there a celeb out there who hasn’t yet proclaimed their love for Snooki, Pauly D and The Situation?

However, Cowell’s love runs so deep that he made sure that X Factor made a stop in New Jersey so he could scout out some more of that elusive, untapped Jerseylicious talent.

I love Jersey Shore. I mean really I like these people. I love them… I said we have to go to New Jersey because I want to find somebody with a bit of attitude.

Something tells me that Simon’s going to have a rude awakening when he actually has to be in the same room as “these people” from New Jersey.  Can you imagine JWoww and Simon going head-to-head in a battle of bad attitudes?

Now that’s something I’d like to watch.

The latest installment of Jimmy Fallon’s MTV spoof, Jersey Floor promises to be just a little more authentic than it’s predecessors, as the real cast of Jersey Shore is gets in on the act!

Well, everyone but Pauly D and The Situation who are noticeably absent from the above promo shot – then again, maybe their just hiding behind Deena’s boobs.

According to Fallon, the Shore cast was a breeze to work with.  I’m just as surprised as you are.

They weren’t afraid to poke fun at themselves and they helped teach some new dance moves.  Merp!

While sources confirm that SNL veteran Fallon, will be joined, once again, by Jersey Floor staple Rachel Dratch, there’s no word on whether or not Tina Fey or Amy Poehler will be reprising their roles as “The Stalkers”.

Jersey Floor will air next Tuesday night during Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on NBC.

Mila Kunis appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night to promote her latest romantic comedy, Friends with Benefits, but somehow ended up gushing about her love for Jersey Shore, more than her new film!

When Fallon, a known Shore-lover, asked Kunis about her affinity for Jersey- flavored reality television, the That 70′s Show actress lit up like a firecracker on the 4th of July.

What don’t I watch?  Apparently I love New Jersey, because I watch Jerseylicious and Jersey Shore… [The premiere is]  TiVo’ed in Detroit… I’m fully aware and really excited. It’s really exciting

Fallon and Kunis also shared a laugh about the Season 4 trailer released by MTV, which shows Snooki and Deena careening into a parked police car in Italy.

Somehow the fact that Mila loves Jersey Shore so much, makes me forgive her for getting to cozy up with Justin Timberlake.  Sort of.

NBC superstars Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon and Amy Poehler tried their hands at their own version of a Jersey Shore parody last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.  Fallon debuted the first installment of the “Jersey Floor” sketch on his show last month, but for those of you who missed it, the premise is this:  The elevator at 30 Rock has a magic button for the “Jersey Floor”.  Push it and you’re magically transformed into a fist-pumping, glittery t-shirt wearing Guido.

For the most part, I’m pretty much over these “Shore Spoofs“, but I have the biggest girl-crush ever on Tina Fey, so I was willing to give this one a shot.

Not surprisingly, NBC’s big guns, pulled out, well… the big guns and totally nailed the sketch.  While Fallon aka JBro did a pretty spot-on Pauly D and Fey and Poehler were picture perfect as “The Stalkers”, none could hold a candle to the pint-sized Drootchie character played by Rachel Dratch.

The one and only Stephen Colbert and The Roots offered the most incredible cover of YouTube sensation Rebecca Black’s hit “Friday” on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Friday (April 1)- see video above.

Last night when Justin Timberlake was a guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, we expected him to talk about his new movie about Facebook — The Social Network — and he did, but I don’t think anyone was expecting the hysterical “History of Rap” medley with host Jimmy Fallon!

JT and…JF…covered hip-hop favorites that span the last 30 years, including:

Sugarhill Gang‘s “Rapper’s Delight,” Beastie Boys‘ “Paul Revere,” Dr. Dre‘s “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang,” Digital Underground‘s “The Humpty Dance,” Eminem‘s “My Name Is,” Kanye West‘s “Gold Digger,” and Jay-Z‘s “Empire State of Mind,” and Missy Elliot‘s “Work It”

And of course, Late Night’s house band The Roots played musical accompaniment.

So much awesome! I wonder if they practiced it ahead of time?

In the interview, Justin briefly made mention of that “little group” he was in, ‘NSync, and recalled how Sugarhill Gang once opened for them– before launching into the breakdown of songs with Jimmy.

It was a good night for late-night television!
