The only child of Vice President Joe Biden and wife Dr. Jill Biden, Ashley Biden, is engaged to marry Dr. Howard Krein.

Beau Biden, Vice President’s Son Suffers Stroke

“Ashley recently got engaged and the Vice President, Dr. Biden and the entire family are thrilled,” the Vice President’s office said in a statement.

Her fiance, a physician specializing in Otalaryngology and Facial and Reconstructive Surgery, proposed in September. Biden, a social worker, and Krein have been dating for a little over a year.
