PBS has announced their plans to air the special 25th anniversary special of the musical Les Miserables, which starred Nick Jonas as Marius, Matt Lucas as Thenardier and Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean.

The production took place at the London O2 in October of 2010 and was broadcast in a number of US theatres as a one-night special.

Les Miserables has played in 42 countries and been seen by almost 60 million people since its opening in London in 1985.

The DVD of the performance will be available February 22, with the PBS special airing March 6.

It’s a sad day for 13-year-old girls everywhere — Disney Channel‘s ‘Jonas LA‘ has been canceled.

Rumors have been whirling surrounding the cancellation for some time, but this was allegedly confirmed by the show’s director Paul Hoen via his Twitter over the weekend (tweet has since been pulled).

I guess it was only a matter of time before this brilliant piece of television art called went under. With limited musical ability and no television show to fall back on, what will the Jonas Brothers do now?

Let’s take a moment to mourn the loss.

Jonas Brothers’ Kevin Jonas and his fiancée Danielle Deleasa officially tied the knot in a fairy-tale ceremony at Oheka Castle in Huntington, NY, on December 19 (read more details and photos). The first official photos of the wedding will be published in the upcoming issue of People Magazine that will hit newsstands on December 30, 2009.

Kevin Jonas & Danielle Deleasa FIRST Wedding PHOTOS

Jonas Brothers’ Kevin Jonas and his fiancé Danielle Deleasa finally tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Oheka Castle, a turn-of-the-century French-style chateau, in Long Island on Saturday (December 19). Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas were both Kevin’s best men.

The bride, who wore a beautiful Vera Wang gown, and groom had a fairytale wedding blessed by snow! “We’re so happy that we’re finally married and we were able to share the special moment with family, friends and loved ones,” the couple told People Magazine, which will publish the official first Jonas Brother wedding album.

Music expert DJ Sidekick from Backseat Cuddler compiled a list of the ‘Top 10 Moments from the 51st Grammy Awards’ list that took a look at what we will all remember from the show.

9 – blink182 appear on-stage together for the first time as a trio since 2004, and officially announce their reunion as a group – as Travis Barker confirms “blink182 is back!”

6 – Youngest Jonas Brother Nick forgets the lyrics to Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition”, but doesn’t let it affect his confidence, and continues to gyrate and hammer the guitar within a foot of the legendary singer (who moments before sung the chorus to their smash “Burnin’ Up” – weird).

5 – A very very pregnant M.I.A. performs alongside hip hop’s leading men Kanye West, T.I., Jay-Z, and Lil’ Wayne for the “rap pack”s performance of  “Swagga Like Us” (from T.I.’s  nominated “Paper Trail”).

2 – Whitney Houston opens the show to present the award for Best R&B Album looking better than she has in years, speaking in a voice comfortingly-hoarse from performing at Clive Davis’s pre-Grammy bash (officially ushering in her comeback) just hours prior.

Joe Jonas, of the Jonas Brothers, and Camilla Belle continue to date under cover(s) and no one is quite sure why they are so secretive.  Regardless I thought they were the same person when I saw this photo.  Maybe that is why Joe likes her so much. Joe thinks he is looking in the mirror and kissing himself whenever he locks lips or hips with her.

Perhaps Joe is not over the public bashing Taylor Swift gave him after he dumped her late last year.

The 2008 American Music Awards was a big night for celebrities to show their best garments and wow at the red carpet – some did it gracefully and some failed miserably. In my modest opinion Alicia Keys (minus the earrings!) was the best dressed and Sarah Silverman the worst dressed at the red carpet.

Joe Jonas has been getting a lot of slack since he reportedly dumped Taylor Swift in under 30 seconds over the phone. She went on Ellen the other day and told the world how he ended the relationship in record time, and she recently came out and said that they broke up because he met current girlfriend, Camille Belle. In a recent blog on his MySpace page, Joe tried to set the record straight.

“I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.”

He goes on to say: “For those who have expressed concern over the ’27 second’ phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.”

Joe finishes the blog by wishing the other person well and expressing appreciation for his fans.

There are two sides to every story, so I am glad we know his side now.
