An expectant Kate Middleton made her final appearance before her highly-anticipated maternity leave on Thursday, christening Princess Cruises’ new $735-million Royal Princess cruise ship.

“May God bless her and all who sail in her,” Middleton, who serves as the ship’s godmother, said as she christened the boat with a $1,600 bottle of Moet et Chandon Champagne.

“We can think of no more fitting godmother for our magnificent new ship. Her Royal Highness is an inspiring ambassador for Britain, and she is admired around the world for her style and grace, and for her compassion for others,” Princess Cruises CEO Alan Buckelew told the crowd in Southampton.

Two children from one of her charities, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, assisted the Duchess of Cambridge as she cut the rope.

Middleton will welcome her first child in July.

Kate Middleton will reportedly be living with her parents for six weeks after giving birth to her first child.

The Duchess of Cambridge is rumored to have no plans to hire a royal maternity nurse to help her care for the child. Instead, she will stay with her parents, Carole and Michael, in Berkshire, where she ”just feels safest and most secure.”

A source told reporters that Carole is “over the moon” with Kate’s decision to stay with her. She is even making changes to her £4.85 million in order to better accommodate Kate and her new grandbaby.

“Carole fully intends to be part of this baby’s life and Catherine, for her part, plans to spend a lot of time with her parents, especially while she is waiting for the new apartment to be completed,” the source said.

Kate Middleton celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with Prince William in Aldershot passing out shamrocks to members of the Irish Guards at their annual ceremony.

Middleton, who is expecting her first child in July, told Sergeant Thomas Laven that she is prepared for the sleepless nights ahead. ”I congratulated her on the impending birth and said you’ve got sleepless nights to come,” he told reporters. ”She said she was prepared for it.”

Inside the Mons Barracks, Middleton posed for photos and told guardsman Lee Wheeler that she and her husband have differing opinions on what the sex of the baby will be.

“I asked her do you know if it’s a girl or a boy and she said not yet,” Wheeler said. “She said ‘I’d like to have a boy and William would like a girl.’ I asked her if she had any names and she said no.”

The ever-so-stylish Duchess of Cambridge wore the same green coat she was seen in at last year’s event, which she attended solo.

Kate Middleton showed off her growing baby bump during a public appearance at a residential treatment center run by Action on Addiction, a charity organization she supports, on Tuesday morning.

This was the first public appearance the Duchess of Cambridge has made since returning from a “babymoon” in the Caribbean with her husband Prince William.

“It’s nice to be back,” Middleton was heard telling Action on Addiction’s chief executive, Nick Barton. “It’s a lovely day for it.”

A member of the center told reporters Middleton chatted with her about expecting her first child.  ”I asked her if she was nervous about having a child, and she said it would unnatural if she wasn’t. It’s just human, isn’t it?”

Middleton, who has been hiding her baby bump up until now, wore a black and white MaxMara Studio wrap dress.

“She looked really relaxed and rested after her break. She could have worn a coat, but she looked happy to show off her bump,” Judy Wade, the royals writer for the Observer, said.

A pregnant Kate Middleton attended the unveiling of her official portrait at the National Portrait Gallery on Friday, her first outing since December.

The painting, created by Paul Emsley, was done over the course of three-and-a-half months. The Duchess of Cambridge sat for Emsley twice, once at his home in Bradford-upon-Avon, southwest England, and the second time at Kensington Palace.

“If you are working with someone who has whose face is just a lovely face, it’s harder to find something in the portrait that gives it some sort of gravitas. In this case I’ve tried to do that with the smile and the dimples and the shadows around the face,” Emsley told reporters.

“I thought it was brilliant,” Middleton said at the event, which she attended with Prince William, her parents and her siblings.

Unfortunately for the reality star, Middleton reportedly rejected the clothes and had them sent back to their supplier, Dorothy Perkins.

According to The Examiner, a source close to Middleton said she wouldn’t wear the clothes. “Kate is hardly going to turn up for an event with the Queen in a cheap leopard-print miniskirt or gold sequinned jacket,” they said. The source also added that the Duchess had turned down the Kardashian sisters’ invitation to tea.

Kardashian insiders dismissed the claims, saying the sisters never sent over the designs or planned to meet with her.

“Kim was working the whole time and though she admires Kate, she didn’t reach out to her,” the insider said.

A Danish magazine has published new photos of Kate Middleton nude in the South of France.

Se Og Hor (See And Hear) has printed a 16-page feature of the Duchess of Cambridge without her bikini bottoms on, which appear to come from the same set of topless photos the French magazine Closer printed earlier this month.

Kim Henningsen, the editor in chief of the magazine, defended his decision to print the images, saying, “It’s a set of unique photos from an A-class celebrity. It is my job to publish them.”

“If this were Fergie, [the Queen] would be livid,” Ken Wharfe, Princess Diana‘s former bodyguard told reporters, referring to Sarah Ferguson, who was in a similar situation with inappropriate photos 20 years ago. “But this is top-drawer royalty: a favorite grandson and his beautiful wife. They live in another world.”

The British Royal family is in an uproar after French Gossip magazine ‘Closer‘ has published topless photos of Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton.

In the photos, Kate is sunbathing topless at a private house in France. The images were shot from a distance and are a bit blurry but do appear to be Kate.

As you can imagine the Royals aren’t taking this too lightly and are in an uproar to chop off the head of whoever is responsible according to Yahoo!

Officials said the royal family was considering legal action for a “grotesque and totally unjustifiable” invasion of privacy in the same country where William’s mother Princess Diana died while fleeing paparazzi.

The couple was “saddened” by the use of the photos, which appear genuine, royal officials said.

It’s been a lewd and nude last couple of weeks for the Royal Family. Just weeks ago images were published of William’s younger brother Prince Harry naked and having a wild time of it playing strip billiards in a Las Vegas hotel room.

The Duchess of Cambridge covers the magazine‘s 73rd Best Dressed September issue, making this her third time to make the list. And while Kate’s photo is plastered on the front of the magazine, it’s only a stock photo. (Speaking of, who do you think will get the privilege of being Kate’s first real cover?)
