Singer Katy Perry will be the hostess for the second year in a row of the MTV European Music Awards that will take place in Berlin on Thursday (November 5, 2009). The 25 year-old will have the precious help of her boyfriend Russell Brand (photos), who is also well known for his hosting stunts at the MTV VMAs.

Katy Perry says, “I had a blast at last year’s EMAs, and I’m truly honored to be asked to do it again! With MTV returning to Berlin for the 16th anniversary of the EMAs, we’ll also be celebrating an incredibly significant 20th anniversary for Germany. Singer Katy Perry and British actor Russell Brand are reportedly dating after getting to know each other at the MTV Video Music Awards last month. The two are not trying to keep their new relationship secret since they have already been spotted together and holding hands several times in public.

A source says, “Russell has fancied Katy for ages and was like an excited schoolboy after they got together. He really sees her as an ideal catch and is prepared to stop seeing other girls. He doesn’t want to talk about it yet as he doesn’t want to blow his chances.”

Another source revealed: “She [Katy] knows about Russell’s reputation but finds him really charming and funny. She’s keen to make a go of it.”

On the photo shoot being a dark sexy: It’s a bit of a darker side of me, a little S&M. Though I did have to hang from a cage, which could have easily gone wrong with the five-inch heels I was wearing.

On what is her type: Oh God, I don’t have a type. I guess one thing that’s the same with all of the men I’ve dated is that they’re all communicators and they’re all sensitive. I have a soft spot for musicians, a guy who can write a song or say how he feels and put it into a song, and is super poetic. Travis is really good at that, and he’s just so good at lyrics that I think that’s ultimately why I was so attracted to him. But I definitely do not have a type. You know, he’s artistic and he has that natural swagger. When he puts his hat on, that’s how he puts his hat on. He doesn’t stand in the mirror for like three hours, he just puts it on. So that’s sexy.

On if her boobs are fake: People are always like, “Well, yours are fake,” and I’m like, “No, I just don’t go around screaming they’re not fake.” It’s all about doing push-ups. You know that, right? The push-ups keep them good and not like armpit pancakes.

“I’m a big fan of Dita Von Teese, because she does it all herself. That is her job: to look fabulous going to the grocery store. Cyndi Lauper is another favorite. She was just so out of her mind in the ’80s. It takes someone who has no limitations in style to create stuff that epic.”

Katy said, “I’ve never done that before. Jennifer Hudson always kills it, and Coldplay and Jay Z- the little thing Jay Z came up for was the most brilliant thing I’d ever seen!”

The “I Kissed a Girl” singer is currently single after breaking up with long time boyfriend, Travis McCoy, and admits she will have a different Valentine’s Day, which she will spend in Vegas with her girl friends.

“I’m so excited I’m going to be in Vegas, what a great way to celebrate,” Katy told Hollyscoop exclusively before adding that single life is treating her “good.”

I’m just not sure where she is getting her fashion tips since every time she comes out with a new outfit I just feel like shaking my head. The 51st Annual Grammy Awards happened last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The big winners on the night were the duo Robert Plant and Allison Krauss, Lil’ Wayne and Coldplay (Top 10 Moments of 51st Grammy Awards) but the sexy ladies were the ones who caught our attention.

Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus sang for the first time together (the sound was horrible but they sure scared The Jonas Brothers right out of their seats!). Carrie Underwood gave the best live performance singing “Last Name” in short shorts, while Katy Perry made a big impression coming on stage inside an enormous banana. Katy stumbled danced and lip-synched her way through a sexy performance of her hit song “I Kissed a Girl“.

Katty Perry wore a classy champagne colored dress on the red carpet at last night’s 51st Grammy Awards from Los Angeles, California.  Katy had one of the spiciest performances of the night with the performance of her hit song ‘I Kissed A Girl.’

She performed in a dress made of fruit and came onto the stage in a giant banana.  She lip synched and danced her way in flats to a so-so perfomance. It was exciting to watch either way.  Literally the most colorful perfomance of the night.

Even Miley Cyrus envies Katy Perry’s fabulous rack! The “I Kissed A Girl” singer has a high-quality big pair on her. We knew that already before these personal photos of the singer’s D-sized melons came out. In fact Katy’s berries are so famous that a mold of those (photo below) was sold for $3,500 and the profits went to breast cancer research charity Keep-A-Breast.

“Someone paid $3,500 for a mold of my breast. That’s a lot in a recession,” Katy gushes.

Katy and girl friends had a lot of fun! I’m not sure what they are really doing but it seems naughty. Other good reasons to kiss girls besides their tasty cherry chap stick are: too much fun and if the photos leak you can always say it was just a pajama girl party. I’m not sure how you can explain taking naked pictures of yourself in the bathroom, Katy!?!?

Apparently the French don’t like Katy Perry as she may have thought. Last night she was given the international song of the year award for “I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It” at the NRJ Music Awards in the Riviera resort of Cannes. But at the end of the night, the host announced at the end of the show Saturday that there had been a mistake in vote-counting and that Perry was not the winner. Turns out Rihanna won for “Disturbia.”

Whoopsy-a-daisy! Maybe that Karma’s catching up with her… What’s a former Gospel singer doing making out with girls anyway?

I don’t know what Katy Perry was thinking but that dress is way too cute. It would be something I would put on a 5 year-old maybe for church and it’s so not her style! We are used to see Katy in some outrageous outfits so this is just disappointing and boring. Not even the leopard printed shoes can save her, that’s clearly bad taste…

In my opinion this girl is just a fashion disaster and we have yet to see her in a decent outfit. Maybe it’s time to find a stylist (a good one!!).
