Kiefer Sutherland is now a free man. The “24” actor is now single after he finally dumped his girlfriend, Allure’s style director Siobhan Bonnouvrier, who he had been dating for close to three years. The two actually fought engagement rumors last year, which usually acts like a relationship cooler if it’s not true.

“They’ve split for now,” says the source, explaining that things are “transitional and ever changing.” Adds another pal: “It’s been a while [since they split].”

The 44 year-old, who was previously married twice to Camelia Kath and Kelly Winn, was once engaged to marry Julia Roberts, his one true love, before the “Pretty Woman” decided to call off ther wedding back in August of 1990.

Siobhan was first seen with the suspicious ring while on vacation in Italy back in August and once again at a Calvin Klein show at New York Fashion Week. The evidence suggests there will be a wedding and millions of broken hearts in the near future.

An insider revealed, “Kiefer believes in his heart that Siobhan is his soulmate. Even though he’s been married twice before, he says that he’s never felt so strongly about a woman. He even persuaded producers to move the set of 24 from the West Coast to New York because he can’t stand to be away from her.”

Kiefer and Siobhan have been dating for more than two years. The 41 year-old actor was previously married to Camelia Kath and Kelly Winn. Siobhan was also previously married to David Bonnouvrier before filing for divorce.

Kiefer was previously engaged to actress Julia Roberts, who called off the engagement three days before their wedding after finding out he was having secret encounters with a stripper named Amanda Rice back in 1991. Julia and Kiefer would have been the perfect Hollywood couple.

Actor Kiefer Sutherland, who is the star and executive producer of the TV hit show “24”, has to undergo surgery after a cyst near his kidney ruptured last week. The show cannot go on without Kiefer! 20th Century FOX Television decided to temporarily completely shut down production of the show.

Kiefer’s publicist, Evelyn Karamanos, said in a statement, “While Kiefer Sutherland is frustrated to miss even one day of work, he and Fox decided together that it would be best to complete this minor elective procedure now as a precaution as opposed to six weeks from now when production wraps. He looks forward to returning to work next week.”

20th Century Fox Television also issued a statement: “We are temporarily suspending production of ’24′ while our friend and colleague Kiefer Sutherland undergoes a medical procedure. We hope to resume production shortly and do not anticipate any disruption in the broadcast of this season’s episodes.”

Health should always come first! Even though the filming has been suspended, this should not affect the on-air schedule of the show, which is now in its eighth series. We wish Kiefer a fast recovery and we expect to see a lot more of Jack Bauer.

Apparently Kiefer was so sure the New England Patriots would win that he made a bet with one of his friends over the weekend – if they lost, he would wear a dress on Letterman! Kiefer really did it! Hilarious!!

Actor Kiefer Sutherland is a free man once again after being released from a Glendale jail this morning.  Sutherland served 48 days, his full sentence, after receiving his second DUI and violating his probation.

“[Kiefer] looked like he was glad to be out,” said Balian, who added that the actor was wearing a shirt and jeans when he left, and took home whatever personal belongings he originally brought with him.

Sutherland, 41, served his entire sentence for a second DUI conviction and for violating probation. He spent his birthday, Christmas and New Year’s at the Los Angeles-area facility.

Kiefer was smart to serve during the writer’s strike and get it over with.  The new season of 24 has been pushed back because of the strike.
