Judge Len Goodman was even more shocked, claiming this was “madness” since he thought the two couples in danger had so much potential to fight for a spot in the finals, and even take the mirror ball trophy home.
Kristin did not even try to hide her shock and disappointment upon hearing her name. “I was a little [surprised], to be honest,” Kristin said. “I’m a little sad. It’s sad, you know? I’m having so much fun, and I thought I was going to be around for at least a couple more weeks.”

Later, Kristin said she might have been voted off so soon because she did well and people might have thought she was safe and didn’t need their vote. The 24 year-old also said she had a whole lot of fun and harbored no resentment.
“I don’t know,” Kristin admitted. “Maybe it’s like what Tom [Bergeron] said. Everybody thought we’d be safe, so they voted for other people? Maybe the audience didn’t like our dances after all. I’m not sure.”
“I’ve had such an incredible experience,” she said. “I’ve made new friends. We’ve all become such a little family. I’m a huge fan of the show. I’ll continue to be a huge fan of the show.”
When asked about who would win the thirteenth season of Dancing With The Stars, Kristin picked Ricki Lake and J.R. Martinez as the favorites to snatch the mirror ball trophy, saying “I think they’ll definitely be in the finals.”
