Madonna is dissing pop superstar Lady GaGa‘s song ‘Born This Way’ for it’s similarities to her 1989 hit ‘Express Yourself’ in the upcoming issue of Newsweek.

“I thought, this is a wonderful way to redo my song ["Express Yourself"],” she tells the magazine. “I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was… interesting.”

GaGa was asked about copying the famous hit in an interview in an April 2011 interview. Outraged, she responded: ”I’m a songwriter. I’ve written loads of music,” she fumed. “Why would I try to put out a song and think I’m getting one over on everybody?”

She continued: “What a completely ridiculous thing to even question me about… If you put the songs next to each other, side by side, the only similarities are the chord progression. It’s the same one that’s been in disco music for the last 50 years. Just because I’m the first f***ing artist in 25 years to think of putting it on Top 40 radio, it doesn‚t mean I’m a plagiarist, it means that I‚m f***ing smart. Sorry.”

Madonna and GaGa claim to be friends, complimenting each other’s work. But is it just for publicity?

P.S.- I don’t think GaGa copied anything. And quite frankly, her song is better. Suck it, Madonna.

Lady GaGa has officially been spotted out with her rumored boyfriend, Vampire Diaries star Taylor Kinney.

GaGa and Kinney were photographed arm-in-arm in Southern California. The two have reportedly been dating since September, when they met on the set of her “You and I” video shoot.

Now, GaGa is supposedly moving to Pennsylvania to be with her new beau. They were even seen looking at a $1.7 million home in Lancaster County.

GaGa tweeted, “On Christmas Day I will leak to you an unreleased Song off Born This Way! It was recorded live, in one take, on the tour bus. Uncensored. ☃”

“So to give you a little background to the creation of this song. I wrote it in Minnesota after the Monster Ball on the tour bus. We recorded it in one shot. Fernando on guitar, Paul on Drum Machine. I wrote, sang it, and freestyled the last minute + a half of the song,” she added.

Lady GaGa revealed she posed completely naked for Tony Bennett, with whom she recorded a duet of “The Lady Is a Tramp”, in an interview with Katie Couric during the “A Very GaGa Thanksgiving” special on Thursday (November 24).

GaGa explained: “I walked in and said ‘Well Tony here we are,’ and I dropped my robe and I got into position. I felt shy and thought ‘It’s Tony Bennett, why am I naked?’”

GaGa and Tony seem to have established a very special connection. They also deeply appreciate each other’s work and dedication. The 85 year-old singer even compared the “Born This Way” songstress to Picasso, one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century.

GaGa said of Bennett: “Oh Tony he’s so handsome I feel terrible whenever his wife is around because he is so charming and such a gentleman.”

Bennett said of GaGa: “She is the most beautiful person I ever met but there is something very special about her. She is America’s answer to Picasso.”

“I don’t know if I’m the new Picasso but I’m certainly twisted like his paintings,” GaGa added.

“Bad Romance” singer Lady GaGa surprised her fans with the release of a very special holiday album titled “A Very GaGa Holiday” for only $3.99 on iTunes and Amazon. The EP includes GaGa’s jazzy rendition of the classic “White Christmas”.

Eccentric Lady GaGa is rewarding her fans with a special “A Very GaGa Thanksgiving” with Katie Couric, which includes the singer’s most intimate interview and exclusive performances at her former elementary school, the Sacred Heart Catholic School in Manhattan, New York.

Lady GaGa performs some of her hits like “Bad Romance”, “Marry The Night”, “You and I”, “The Edge Of Glory”, “Lady and the Tramp” (ft. Tony Bennett) and a holiday-themed song titled “White Christmas”.

The 90-minute special – “A Very GaGa Thanksgiving” – will air on Thursday, November 24 at 8 pm ET on ABC.

Ironically, “You and I” was originally written for GaGa’s longtime on-and-off boyfriend, Nebraska native Luc Carl, yet it was Taylor who had the chance of getting wet and making out with mermaid GaGa. “They’re hooking up and getting to know each other,” says a source close to Gaga. “Gaga can’t be too committed because she works 24/7,” says the source. “But she thinks he’s supercute!”

Before performing “Bad Romance”, GaGa added, “”I’m 25 and just four years ago I was living in a teeny tiny apartment in New York, praying every day that just one person would believe in me. So tonight I just thought we’d all get caught up in a little Bill romance.”
