Singer/actress LeAnn Rimes has announced on her official website that her marriage to Dean Sheremet (Deane Sheremet) is over. LeAnn and Dean are filing for divorce just months after LeAnn’s affair with her “Northern Lights” co-star, Eddie Cibrian, was revealed.

LeAnn wrote, “After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Deane and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage. This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support – it is deeply appreciated.”

LeAnn and former dancer Dean tied the knot back in 2002 when she was only 19 years old and he was 21. They have been best be friends and they hope they can keep their friendship while trying to deal with divorce as mature adults.

Eddie Cibrian and wife Brandi Glanville have also announced their split and actually filed for divorce last week. Eddie and LeAnn have been seen together and it seems like they are ready to commit to a relationship.

Eddie Cibrian’s wife Brandi Glanville has finally called it quits after finding out her husband was secretly meeting the singer LeAnn Rimes even four months after the affair rumors made headlines just in time for their Lifetime movie “Northern Lights”.

“Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart,” says Glanville, 36, mother of Mason, 6, and Jake, 2. “I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn [Rimes] deserve each other.”

Eddie and LeAnn were reportedly spotted together again at the home of Jeff Berger, who is a friend of the singer and her husband Dean Sheremet, on July 17. Last month, Brandi accused LeAnn of stalking her husband but it seems like that wasn’t exactly what was really happening.

Eddie’s rep released the following statement: “Eddie is a devoted and loving father first and foremost and the speed bump he and Brandi are experiencing needs to be worked out privately.”

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s steamy affair was reportedly ended by the married actor shortly after it was exposed and the Lifetime movie “Northern Lights” was aired in March.

Eddie’s model wife Brandi Glanville accuses the singer of being obsessed with her husband, constantly texting, calling and stalking her husband.

“LeAnn is a stalker,” Glanville tells Us. “She refuses to leave us alone — it is shameful and scary. People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance.”

Adds Glanville, “She’s hurting my family and messing with the wrong mom.”

Eddie, who has two kids Mason, 6, and Jake, 2, reportedly changed his phone number and when LeAnn couldn’t reach him she tracked him down at a L.A. Lakers game on May 17. Brandi describes the desperate singer’s behavior as “disgusting” and a way to get back to the spotlight.

LeAnn Rimes has been caught in the middle of a steamy affair with actor Eddie Cibrian, her co-star on the Lifetime production of Nora Roberts’ “Northern Lights”, which tells the story of a “former Baltimore policeman Nate Burns (Cibrian) who escaped to a small town in Alaska finds himself falling for Meg Galligan (Rimes), an independent and feisty bush pilot with her own demons. When her father’s body is discovered in a mountain cave, Nate finds himself in the middle of a high profile murder investigation and learns the killer is in the community.”

Regarding the affair rumors, LeAnn Rimes and her husband Dean Sheremet have both released cryptic “statements” through her official website and his twitter account. Cibrian has wisely kept his mouth shut for now.

“From the moment we rehearsed, LeAnn and Eddie honestly developed a really strong bond and a warm relationship,” director Mike Robe told Us prior to news of the affair.

The two seemed to have carried their strong bond out of the studio and have embraced a secret relationship. LeAnn was way too young when she got married and Eddie is unhappily married with 2 children… it just seems wrong but certain things happen when you aren’t looking for them so we hope they get this mess all figured out before it can do more damage to both their careers.
