Leonardo DiCaprio, who was noticeably left off the list of Oscar nominees list for his role in Django, told reporters he’s planning on taking a break from acting.

“I am a bit drained,” DiCaprio told German publication Bild. ”I’m now going to take a long, long break. I’ve done three films in two years and I’m just worn out.”

But he’s vowing to taking his time off working on the environment. ”I would like to improve the world a bit,” he continued. “I will fly around the world doing good for the environment.”

All good things must come to an end. Actor Leonardo DiCaprio and Gossip Girl star Blake Lively have decided to end their relationship after dating for almost five months. The decision to part ways was mutual and the two will remain friends, according to their reps.

Unbeknownst to him, Leonardo DiCaprio is apparently married to a woman who is pregnant with Jesus.

At least, that’s what Livia Bistriceanu believes.

She has been sending handwritten letters to the Inception star that claim she is his wife, and that she is carrying his child.

Here’s an excerpt from one of the letters:

“Do you want to be with me for real and to be the father of Jesus? I’ve explained you I can’t be with nobody virtually. I have to have a father in reality for Jesus not like this,”

Anyway, it was enough to freak Leo out hardcore.

He felt like his personal safety was at risk, so the court ordered that Bistriceanu stay at least 100 yards away from him at all times.

This couldn’t come at a more convenient time– Aretha Wilson, the woman who injured Leo’s face and neck with a wine glass at a party in 2005, is set to face trial this week. If she’s convicted, she could be looking at 7 years.

It’s no wonder Leo says he may never marry.

Leonardo DiCaprio has admitted that he may never tie the knot. Recently, he’s been rumored to be preparing to pop the question to girlfriend Bar Refaeli. He put those rumors to rest saying he’s skeptical of marriage after witnessing so many healthy relationships turn to failed marriages:

“I don’t know whether I’ll ever get married. I’ve seen too many supposedly happy marriages go down. I’ve been as shocked as anyone. No one can look at the marriages of other people and make a judgement. I don’t know the private lives of the actors I work with. I just know if they are good actors or good directors.”

According to sources, Leonardo DiCaprio has dropped out of Mel Gibson‘s latest film. This isn’t the least bit surprising considering Mel’s recent domestic abuse scandal has everyone running.

The film is being produced by Graham King and Icon Pictures (Gibson’s company), and was to be directed by Mel himself.

A source close to DiCaprio said:

“Leo has earned the right to pick and choose who he works with and Mel Gibson is not one of them.”

The film, rumored to be about vikings, was to be Mel’s first film with DiCaprio. The source added that Leo was worried about ruining his reputation by being a part of the film.

Let’s face it, Leo has enough money, fame, and power, for that matter, to drop out of whatever he wants. His recent film, Inception, has been a huge box office hit. I’m sure he’s already up and moving on to the next project.

The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, California. Our favorite celebs came out with their most fabulous outfits to WOW us at the red carpet. Most did a pretty good job, some have their own glow and others are just losing it (like Sigourney Weaver and Glenn Close).

Absolutely shiny couples at the red carpet were: Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt, Kate Winslet & Leonardo DiCaprio (not really a couple but they look great together!) and Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron. The ladies Anne Hathaway, Eva Mendes, Eva Longoria Parker, Jennifer Morrison (“House”) and Blake Lively (“Gossip Girl”) made quite an impression looking just fabulous. The most disappointing at the red carpet were: Jennifer Lopez (hideous gold dress!), Salma Hayek (white was not a good color!) and Heidi Klum (not a fan of that dress, can’t tell exactly why!).

Leonardo DiCaprio is ready to get rid of his sex symbol status and thinks Zac Efron should take over.

“I look at young Zac Efron and think, ‘Go get it pal, leave me in peace,’” Leonardo told Fox. “I was never happy with the teen idol tag at all — wanted to be a sex symbol or all that stuff – it was the work that appealed to me. Really, nothing else.”

Leo also said he had “total respect for how young stars like Zac handle it all. Really, total respect.”

Personally, I have never found Leo to be hot. He’s a skinny little man with a weird face. I’d take Brad Pitt, Vin Diesel or another muscular man over him any day.
