Lisa Rinna is now claiming that she was in talks for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills before she and her husband, Harry Hamlin, began filming Harry Loves Lisa for TV Land.

The former actress, 47, said:

“We were in discussions originally. I was up for it, and at the time I did my show instead of Beverly Hills. It was part of the process, but then my show came along so I ended up doing our show.”

When asked if she regretted not joining the cast, she replied:

“I’m good.”

Can you imagine the drama?!?!? I’m honestly glad she didn’t join. My blood pressure would have been out the roof with all that nonsense.

Actress/reality star Lisa Rinna finally decided to go under the knife to reduce the size of her infamous and ridiculous upper lip on August 26. The 47 year-old finally admitted that she impulsively had silicone injected into her lips back in 1986 and she couldn’t handle the critics.

“My lips started to define who I am,” Rinna tells People. “That bothered me. I took a big hit for being honest. It gave everyone online permission to lambaste me. It hurt my feelings.”

“It doesn’t matter what other people think,” she says. “I did it for myself.” After the surgery, Lisa says that rather than feeling “bumpy and uneven … my lip has no lumps! It’s smooth.”

Lisa, who just launched her new novel “Starlit”, confessed that her lips are still swollen and that will take her more than six months to heal completely. “It’s a work in progress,” admits Rinna, “but I feel fantastic.”

Lisa and her husband Harry Hamlin have their own reality show on TV Land. “Harry Loves Lisa” premieres at 10 pm on Wednesday (October 6).

Actress Lisa Rinna rocked a hot pink & white striped bikini while catching some sun and fun on a beach in Malibu with her daughter on Sunday.

Rinna turned 46 earlier this month. She has been married to actor Harry Hamlin since 1997.  They have two daughters, Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray.

I think the photos say it all, Lisa has more than defied the laws of time, albeit with some small help from skilled hands.  The body does not lie though.
