Aging 80′s popstar Madonna, known for doing just about anything to garner attention or the almighty dollar, went on a tirade at her concert in Washington, D.C. demanding that those in attendance at her concert re-elect Barack Obama as President of the United States.

She went as far as to tell her fans to vote for ‘the Black Muslim in the White House.’ – (watch the video above)

Was she serious or mocking fun of some opposition forces to the President who claim he is in fact not a Christian but a Muslim instead.

Madonna went on to promise/threaten her fans and all of America that she would take it all off if Obama is re-elected.

She said this after removing her top and turning around to the crowd to expose the President’s last name ‘OBAMA’ painted on her lower back.

Is it ever smart for any celebrity/musician/entertainer/athlete to put so much faith and support behind any politician, Democrat or Republican?  Hasn’t time proven time after time that the only people more sleazy and corrupt than entertainers is politicians?

Well, it’s about damn time…

Madonna must’ve seen the light. The pop singer dedicated her song “Masterpiece” to fellow pop star Lady GaGa, who she has had a rocky past with, in Atlantic City on Saturday.

“You wanna know something? I love her,” she told the audience. “I love her. I do love her. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. One day, very soon, we’re going to be on stage together. Just you wait,” she added. “You think I’m kidding? I love Lady Gaga.”

The feud between the two singers started back in January 2012, when Madonna accused GaGa of copying her song “Express Yourself” in “Born This Way.” “I thought, this is a wonderful way to redo my song,” she told Newsweek. “I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was . . . interesting.”

GaGa came back at Madonna in April 2012, saying, “What a completely ridiculous thing to even question me about . . . If you put the songs next to each other, side by side, the only similarities are the chord progression,” Gaga responded. “It’s the same one that’s been in disco music for the last 50 years. Just because I’m the first f—ing artist in 25 years to think of putting it on Top 40 radio, it doesn’t mean I’m a plagiarist, it means that I’m f—ing smart. Sorry.”

Madonna, I love ya, girl. You had it goin’ on 20 years ago. But seriously, give it up.

Madonna dressed up as a marching band leader sings “Express Yourself” before “respect yourself” turns into “Born This Way,” a song Madonna described as a reductive redo of the original. The mashup ends with the Queen chanting “she’s not me, she’s not me.”

This mashup is not exactly a surprise since we have already seen a video of the queen singing it during rehearsals (see video here). GaGa has not yet commented on the “honor” of having Madonna cover one of her songs. Cat fight!

Touché. Madonna vs. Lady Gaga round #146. The Queen of Pop basically accused GaGa of ripping off “Express Yourself” when “Born This Way” was released. Madonna called it a “wonderful redo” and “reductive,” GaGa said the Queen’s comments were “retarded,” so it’s time for Madonna to counterattack.

Do you really think GaGa is obsessed with Madonna, trying to be her? Or is it the other way around? Madonna needs to let this pointless feud go. And if I’m forced to pick a side, I’m team GaGa simply because Madonna has been totally boring lately.

Madonna – the queen of shock and gimmick – has fallen face first into a spectacle of flop with news that her new album ‘MDNA‘ – a cheap allusion to ecstasy – has set a devastating record for album sales.

The first week of MDNA’s release the album sold 379,000 copies. The second week the album sold, wait for it…46,000 copies.

So why the dramatic drop? In a somewhat savvy move, Madonna packaged the album with ticket sales on Ticketmaster. Though Lionel Richie’s Tuskegee was outpacing her in projected sales, Madge was able to surpass his release by essentially giving her album away to anyone who bought a ticket to see her tour. These “sales” were then counted in Billboard’s tally.

So when tickets to Madge’s shows sold out the album quit selling.  It’s a cheap gimmick some artists, including Tom Petty, Bon Jovi, and Prince, have used before to help push their album sales to the top of the Billboard charts.

Cheap gimmick or not, Madonna will continue to wallow and roll in the dough.

Although a glimpse into the smoke and mirrors would make it appear that MDNA is more akin to WMD!

Madonna’s 15 year-old daughter Lourdes Leon was seen sporting an edgy new hairstyle with a half-shaved head while on her way to school in New York City a couple of days ago (see pic above).

No word if this radical new hairdo was approved by mama bear, but Lourdes has apparently wanted to do something different with her hair for a long time. The premature fashionista once revealed she wanted to have royal blue hair, which was something Madonna did not approve.

“I want royal blue hair but not a streak, like my entire head,” the teen designer wrote on her blog in December of 2010. “I read this blog aloud to my mother,” she continued, “and she is sitting here staring at me with no expression on her face, as if she doesn’t approve of it!”

Well for Madonna’s sake, the hair will eventually grow. However, I’m definitely not a fan of the half-shaved, fully-shaved hairstyle trend that seems to be celebrity kids’ latest obsession. Will Smith’s daughter Willow Smith has also gone wild with a shaved head (see picture here).

Finally. Madonna has spoken! In an interview for Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM show, the Queen of Pop confessed she was certainly not happy with her special guest M.I.A.‘s rude middle finger gesture during her Super Bowl performance last weekend (listen to audio below).

“I was really surprised…. I wasn’t happy about it,” Madonna told Seacrest. “I understand it’s kind of punk rock and everything, [but] to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy and positivity, it seemed negative.”

“It’s such a teenager… irrelevant thing to do in one respect, but on the other hand, there was such a feeling of love and unity there, what was the point? It was just out of place.”

Who’s M.I.A. anyway? Enough about that bird flip. Everybody seems to have forgotten that the Super Bowl halftime show was about Madonna, who admitted that was probably the most important performance of her career and she was very nervous.

Madonna admitted, “I was more nervous doing this show than any show I’ve ever done in my entire life, for sure. It wasn’t my turf… I’m walking into the holy grail of American sports. I know very well that everyone in the stands could go and leave and get hot dogs if they want to.”

After Madonna had promised there would be no wardrobe malfunctions, rapper M.I.A. decided to creat some buzz for herself as she flipped the bird to the camera when she joined the Queen Of Pop on stage for a performance of the new single “Give Me All Your Luvin’” during Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show on Sunday (February 5).

NBC, which was responsible for the broadcast of the event, released a statement to apologize for the rude gesture and explained that M.I.A. had not even attempted to pull that stunt during rehearsals.

“The NFL hired the talent and produced the halftime show,” NBC said in a statement. “Our system was late to obscure the inappropriate gesture and we apologize to our viewers.”

“The obscene gesture in the performance was completely inappropriate, very disappointing, and we apologize to our fans,” said spokesperson Brian McCarthy.

Madonna might be extremely upset with her guest star’s attitude, but she has not made a statement about the incident yet. M.I.A. basically stole the show. Instead of talking about Madonna’s incredible stamina and lip-synched performance, we are discussing M.I.A.’s flip.
