Actress Demi Moore took to her Twitter to defend the ridiculous Photoshopped cover of W Magazine, where she clearly seems to be missing part of her hip. Demi posted what she claims to be the “original” photo (right) to prove the cover (left) hadn’t been retouched.

We talked to a professional photographer, Anthony Citrano, who originally spotted the Photoshopped disaster and actually provided us with an image analysis (check photos here), and here is what he had to say:

“Look, I could be wrong, and I’ll apologize profusely and loudly if I am. But the image Demi posted cannot be an original. First of all, it’s identical to the cover shot. No image goes on a magazine cover looking exactly - to the last pixel - like it did when it left the camera. Having said all that, Demi shouldn’t have to defend other people’s mistakes. It’s not fair to her. She’s a beautiful woman who needs no help from Photoshop. I still think she fell victim to a clumsy and overzealous retoucher.”

The image Demi claims to be original also looks awfully Photoshopped to me and she is still missing part of her hip. The image she provided is the exact one that was used on the cover. No one in the industry uses an original image without altering, touching up, perfecting, or Photoshopping it in some way. Your turn to tell us what you think and vote in our poll below.

Actress Demi Moore is one of the most beautiful cougars (or pumas) but she is apparently missing a part of her left hip (our right) in the cover of the latest issue of W Magazine. Yes, Demi is getting old but we presume she still has two perfect hips and this is one of the worst Photoshop disasters ever. It’s almost as bad as Filippa Hamilton’s anorexic promo for Ralph Lauren (read more details).

And for those of you who still think it’s just a bad angle, we got photographic proof this is, in fact, a poor Photoshop job. Thanks to photographer Anthony Citrano, who explains, “Her hip is clearly magically ‘fused’ to the sash. The year-old, who has a new movie ‘All Good Things’ coming out, confessed she does not keep in touch with her ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.

On announcing he was gay: “I didn’t want to acknowledge it as a mistake or something I was ashamed of—I’m not. It’s part of who I am, but because our nation is the way it is, it’s an announcement. If I lose some fans, f-ck it. I need to be happy too.”

On relationships: “I’ve only been in love twice. I have a lot of life experience, but I don’t know sh-t about love.”

On sexuality: “To some people, me being sexual is really offensive because I’m gay. They’re like, ‘He’s being really gay.’ And I’m like, actually, ‘No, I’m just being sexual.’ Male sexuality is frightening to America [but] female sexuality is all over the place.”
