You know the story of Rapunzel– a gorgeous young teenage girl with insanely long locks is imprisoned in a tower with no stairs (no stairs? wow, that was poor planning!), and she waits and waits for a handsome prince to rescue her– which he does by climbing up her hair, naturally.

Well, ‘Tangled‘ is Disney‘s bizarre twist on that story…

…in 3D, of course.

The folks over at Moviefone have given a head’s up of what to expect from Walt and the gang:

In ‘Tangled,’Rapunzel is now a feisty teenager who’s spent all too many years locked away in a tower, and when the kingdom’s most wanted — and most charming — bandit, Flynn Rider, decides that her room would make a safe hideout, she seizes upon the opportunity to make her escape. She takes Rider hostage, strikes a deal with him to go on the lam, and the unlikely duo set off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse, an over-protective chameleon and a gruff gang of pub thugs.

Actress/popstarlet Mandy Moore is the voice of Rapunzel, while Chuck star Zachary Levi spurts the voice of Flynn Rider.

Blink-182’s Travis Barker has finally broken the silence twenty four hours after the death of his dear friend Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM was announced. Travis and AM were both survivors in a deadly plane crash back in September 2008, which had strengthen their bond.

Travis tweeted, “Don’t know how i am gonna play 2night but i am for AM. My brother is gone.i love u and miss u, i’ll never forget all the good times we had. I’ll never forget everything we’ve been thru and every time i play the drums i’ll think of you. U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being. Rest In Peace my brother, this really f*cks me up.”

DJ AM’s former girlfriend Mandy Moore, who is currently married to Ryan Adams, is said to be devastated with the news and has released the following statement.

Mandy Moore: “I am absolutely heartbroken. For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend. To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement. My heart goes out to his loved ones.”

Other celebrities quickly reacted to the tragic news via Twitter (read more). AM was someone very dear to people who he came in contact with during his short but tortuous life.

Singer Mandy Moore wants to be taken seriously now that she is a married woman (Mandy and Ryan Adams tied the knot last month!) so her new album is titled Amanda Leigh (that is Mandy’s real name!).

If you want to be taken serious just strip off and pose in your sexy underwear. Mandy really grew up to be a beautiful woman. Here are some highlights from Mandy Moore’s Details Magazine interview:

Mandy on her new album, Amanda Leigh, a collection of acoustic rock: “The music is all a reflection of me now, not somebody else’s choices. If people don’t like the music, then they don’t like me — and that’s quite all right.”

Mandy on her musical past: “I was just told to show up and what to sing. . . . That was late-nineties pop music for you. I found myself in the company of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, who had really quality music, much more so than mine was. I’m sure there are people scratching their heads, going, ‘Wow, how is she still around?’”

Mandy on the possibility of working in the studio with her new husband, Ryan Adams: “When it comes to the possibility and potential to collaborate, or to be able to run decisions or ideas by someone … it’s nice to have that. I feel very lucky, you know?”

DJ AM’s (real name Adam Goldstein) ex-girlfriend Mandy Moore has flown down to visit him at the hospital in Georgia.

The singer hopped a flight and visited her ex-boyfriend at the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Ga., Moore’s manager confirms to PEOPLE.

And Moore is not the only one showing her support. Barker’s ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, also rushed to the hospital to be by his side.

Goldstein and Travis Barker were critically injured during a plane crash in South Carolina late Friday night.
