Former California Governor, actor Arnold Shwarzenegger’s wife, Maria Shriver, finally decided to take the first step to pull the trigger on their 25 year marriage, after he publicly revealed he fathered a love child (Joseph) with a former housekeeper named Mildred “Patty Baena” a couple of months ago.

Maria cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. She is seeking joint custody of their minor children, 17 year-old Patrick Arnold Shriver Schwarzenegger and 13 year-old Christopher Sargent Shriver Schwarzenegger. Maria also asked for the legal expenses of both partied to be paid by Arnold, spousal support for herself, and for the actor to be denied that right.

Yep, Arnold is about to lose a whole lot of money in this divorce. Maria and Arnold never signed a pre-nuptial agreement, which means their combined fortune ($400 million) is expected to be divided 50/50.

Maria believed Patty’s baby daddy was her husband at the time. The woman worked for the family for more than 20 year and she reportedly made $1,200 a week. According to sources, Patty did not immediately tell Arnold he was the father of her baby.

Patty retired earlier this year before the scandal broke. Arnold finally decided to tell his wife the truth and that was what caused their split earlier this month. Maria has talking with several advisors and is expected to file for divorce sooner rather than later.

On Monday night, Arnold released a statement to admit he had a child out of wedlock and asked for privacy for his family. The face of Arnold’s “illegitimate” son has not been revealed in the pictures below. The boy, who is now 13-14 years old, looks exactly like daddy.

I know Arnold Schwarzenegger is catching a ton of heat this week for hiding his out-of-wedlock son with his hispanic housekeeping baby mamma from his wife Maria Shriver and family for over a year…

…but there is a silver lining.

Now we all get to enjoy Arnold back on the prowl, being the massive Austrian dating machine that knows no boundaries.  He will keep us all very much entertained in this day of social media, camere phones, and celebrity gossip.

Former California Governor/actor Arnold Schwarzenegger released an official statement to finally admit he had a love child with a member of his household staff more than ten years ago, which ultimately led to the end of his marriage with Maria Shriver this month after more than 25 years.

Arnold Schwarzenegger said in a statement:

“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago. I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.

“I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time. While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not.”

The unidentified household staffer worked for Schwarzenegger’s family for 20 years at their Brentwood mansion before she retired on good terms earlier this year. Arnold has reportedly been financially supporting the child, whose mother lied saying the father was her then-husband, for all these years.

The First Lady Of California, Maria Shriver, has finally issued a public apology after being caught several times holding her cell phone while driving (photographic evidence), which is a clear violation of her husband Arnold Schwarzenegger’s hands-free law.

Shriver said, “I’m sorry. I will be donating my favorite old cell phone to my Women’s Conference partner Verizon through their HopeLine program that helps domestic violence shelters. I invite anyone else who wants to recycle their old phone to join me. That’s my version of swift action with a higher purpose.”

Maria will be donating a cell phone that she loves but clearly doesn’t use as a punishment for her actions and most importantly for setting a bad example for all Californians. That’s not exactly ‘swift’ action but anything is a good excuse to help others.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s wife, Maria Shriver, was caught driving her car while holding her cell phone several times, which violates the hands-free cell-phone law her husband signed.

TMZ has posted images of California First Lady’s cell phone abuse at three different occasions: July 12, 2009; October 11, 2009 and again on October 13, 2009, but this last time Maria did try to cover up when she saw the cameras (watch video below).

Arnold promises swift action to stop his wife’s law violations. Governor tweeted, “Thanks for bringing her violations to my attention, @harveylevintmz. There’s going to be swift action.” If Arnold cannot persuade his own family to obey this law, how is he going to convince the Californians??
