Khloe Kardashian has reportedly been fired from her hosting duties at The X Factor.

The reality star co-hosted the show with Mario Lopez as her first live hosting gig.

The New York Post is claiming that Lopez will return to the show without Kardashian. “They are asking Mario [Lopez] to come back, but not Khloe,” a source told the Post.

Sources say Kardashian’s on-air “jitters” are what is keeping the host’s fate unknown. However, Kardashian has admitted that hosting live television has been a struggle for her. ”Just learning how there’s a screaming audience and you don’t yell because the mic is right there,” she said in an interview last month. “I will have an earpiece in my ear, and while I’m trying to read the teleprompter then I have someone counting down … and they’re like, ‘Okay, ask Simon this or that’ … There were so just so many pieces I never knew were involved in live TV.”

In an update from TMZ, a source with the show said the show’s creator Simon Cowell “believes Khloe is definitely strong in certain areas … and not strong in others,” and that no decisions have been made about the upcoming season.

Taylor Swift sure moves on fast!

The country crooner, 22, was spotted holding hands with boy band One Direction member Harry Styles, 18, on the X Factor set Thursday in Los Angeles, according to the show’s co-host Mario Lopez.

Lopez confirmed the news to listeners on his 104.3 MY FM show. ”Taylor Swift was the special guest performer, and [here's] a little inside scoop for you,” the host said. “During rehearsals, Harry from One Direction came and slapped me on the back, and said, ‘Hey, Mario, how ya doing?’ And I said, ‘What are you doing here?’ And he sort of [pointed] toward Taylor.”

He added that he later saw the two ”walking off hand in hand. So Taylor Swift and Harry from One Direction — you heard it here first. [They're] officially hanging out, I can say that much.”

Swift recently ended her relationship with Conor Kennedy. And by recently, I mean it was like, two weeks ago.

Reality star Khloe Kardashian and actor Mario Lopez have been confirmed as the new hosts of The X Factor USA.

Rumors surrounding the two joining the show have swirled for months and were finally answered today. Kardashian took to her official website to tell her fans the news. ”Hi loves. I’m sure you’ve been hearing the rumors and I’m SO excited that I can finally confirm the news – I am joining The X Factor as co-host with Mario Lopez!!!!

“I’m a huge fan of the show so I literally fell over in my chair when I heard that I was being considered for the role. The show already has such an incredible panel of judges and it is truly an honor to have been given this opportunity to work with them.

Saved by the Bell actor Lopez, announced his news on Twitter. ”Alright guys, it’s official… I’ll be hosting @TheXFactorUSA ! Looking forward to working with @SimonCowell and the rest of the amazing team.”

The show’s creator Simon Cowell joked about the new hosts, saying, ”The worst kept secret in Hollywood is out. Mario and Khloe are our hosts. They will debut on our first live show in November and I couldn’t be happier.”

Can we just get rid of Mario and go with Khloe? I know she’s a Kardashian and all, but you gotta admit, she’s funny. This will definitely make me want to tune in to the show.

Mario told, “We took a walk alone as the sun was setting. I told Courtney that I wanted the mother of my children to have their last name. She was silent at first from shock, then she leaped for joy and did a little jeté!”

“Besides our daughter’s birth, this was the best moment of my life!” Courtney confessed.

Courtney proudly showed off her gorgeous engagement ring, which is estimated to be worth approximately $80,000 (see picture above). The couple has not set date for their big day yet, but they are planning to tie the knot in Mexico sometime later this year.

Actor Mario Lopez has finally confessed that he cheated on his ex-wife, actress/model Ali Landry, a few days before their wedding during a wild bachelor party weekend in Mexico back in April 2004. Mario, who recently became a father to baby girl, needed seven years to come clean.

In an interview with Howard Stern on his radio show on Thursday (February 10), Mario says he “messed around” with another woman and admitted that he was wrong. He said, “It was spring break….everybody was hanging out. That was a situation where I was not mature and man enough.”

In 2004, Mario lied to his fiancée because he thought she didn’t need to know about the new plans he had with his cousins. However, Mario was caught because he was photographed poolside while getting cozy with another woman and that incriminatory picture ended up on Ali’s sister’s hands.

“I said I was going to Cabo…to go marlin fishing,” Mario explained. “Then my cousin surprised me and said ‘No, …we’re going on this whirlwind tour: Cabo, Acapulco, all these places.’”

“I figured at that point it was easier to ask for forgiveness [afterward]. It’s my bachelor party, we were going to have a good time. And we went, we had a good time.”

“I was wrong for obviously lying, and I shouldn’t have been in that position,” he said.

When Ali had the courage to confront her husband, Mario simply walked away claiming he was not ready to assume such a strong commitment. Mario and Ali’s wedding was annulled a couple of weeks after they wed.

“I dealt with all this drama, and then at that point just realize…I finally got the balls to say ‘Hey, listen I’m not ready for this, I’m sorry.’ At that point, I was not ready to settle down. I wasn’t man enough to know how to go about handling it. “

Douchebag! So why did he get married? Mario had the balls to claim that he was basically forced to marry because he did not want to break up with his girlfriend of more than six years. That’s very mature, Mario!

“I think when you go out for a few years you either take it to another level or you break up, right?” he said of Landry, whom he had been dating for six years. “There was nothing glaringly wrong on paper: I thought, ‘She’s beautiful, she’s a good girl, she comes from a great family, she’d make a great mom…I confused cold feet with not being ready.”

Mario is now a changed man. He claims to be more mature and his daughter Gia Francesca, who was born in September 2010, made him see life from a different perspective. I don’t believe things have changed that much. Mario has been dating the mother of his child Courtney Mazza for over two years, but he doesn’t seem to be ready to marry any time soon.

“We are so overjoyed,” Mario told Extra. “What an amazing, wonderful and overwhelming experience to welcome our daughter into the world.”

The 36 year-old new dad is already planning on cashing on his first fatherhood experience with a book and possibly a reality show. The perfect name for the show, Mario tweeted: “Mario Lopez: Saved By The Baby“, a reference to the success of “Saved By The Bell“.

“There’s so much out there for women but not so much for men, and I want to be a very hands-on dad,” he said. “I think having a humorous but informative way to tell that story would be great for a show.”

The girl wasn’t even born and daddy was already thinking about ways to overexpose his precious bundle of joy. A reality show seems a bit too far-fetched, but if Kate Gosselin did it, Mario can do it too.

“Saved By The Bell” star Mario Lopez has announced he is expecting his first child with his girlfriend Courtney Mazza, a 28 year-old actress (photos below). “I’m really excited. I’m happy. I can’t wait to be a dad,” Lopez told People.

The Extra host and Courtney met when Mario starred in “A Chorus Line” on Broadway back in 2008. Mario is finally ready to be a daddy and he wants a big family. Mario confessed: “I grew up in a large family. I’m fired up! I don’t know what we’re having. I’m going to wait to see [the baby's gender] so it will be a surprise.”

It appears that Saved by the Bell star Mario Lopez will be appearing on the new season of Nip/Tuck this fall on FX.  Lopez will play a frustratingly fit doctor that Christian meets at the gym. 

This should be an interesting story line and is an even more interesting casting selection by Nip/Tuck.  Lopez played popular jock A.C. Slater on the popular teen T.V. show Saved by the Bell in the early 90′s.
