Oksana Grigorieva, Mel Gibson’s girlfriend, shows off their new baby Lucia Anne in a new photo spread for US Magazine. Mel became an octo-dad on October 30th, a couple of weeks earlier that is why he wasn’t with Oksana during delivery.

Oksana said, “She was almost a month early. I was at home and then I got rushed to hospital, and then eight hours later, I could look at her beautiful face. It was fairly straightforward, as births go. It happened very quickly.

“He (Gibson) came a few hours later because he had to fly from New York… He is ecstatic. He is in love with her already. He’s very hands-on. He has been very doting and nurturing.”

The actor already has seven children with his ex-wife Robyn Moore and the singer has a son from a previous relationship with actor Timothy Dalton. Lucia is absolutely beautiful! Congratulations to the new parents!

Russian singer/model Oksana Grigorieva gave birth to a baby girl, daughter of infamous Mel Gibson, on Friday (October 30), according to PopEater. The baby wasn’t expected for a few more weeks but both daughter and mom are said to be doing just fine.

We are still waiting for an official confirmation from Mel, who is going through a complicated divorce from his wife of nearly 30 years, Robyn Moore. This baby girl is Mel’s eighth children! Congratulations to Octo-Mel (watch video) and Oksana!!

Actor Mel Gibson has finally confirmed the rumors on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Mel and his wife Robyn have been separated for more than three years but just recently filed for divorce after finding out his Russian girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, is pregnant.

He told Leno, “My wife and I, our marriage ended three years ago and we’ve been separated ever since then. These things happen. It’s unfortunate, it’s sad, but you know she is an admirable woman - we still got kids together. We’re friends…”

“Look, when it’s all said and done, I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage myself. I’m to blame. If you’re inclined to judge, put it here.”

Mel, “This is true. We’re gonna have a child.”

Leno teased about his growing brood, “So that will make 29?” and Gibson shot back, “Well, actually eight. I guess I’m Octo-Mel.”

Mel makes fun of himself and takes the blame for the divorce!? I think that is the right thing to do… he was a gentleman! Mel and Oksana are starting a new family and the problem now will be getting the acceptance of Mel’s seven kids. Mel Gibson on Jay Leno will air on Monday (June 1).

Mel Gibson, whose wife has just recently filed for divorce, is reportedly going to be a dad again and no, his wife Robyn is not the mother. Mel’s mistress, a Russian composer by the name of Oksana Grigorieva (not sexy Oksana Pochepa!) is pregnant with the actor’s eighth child.

According to National Enquirer, Mel wants his daughter and seven sons to accept their new sibling even though he and their mother are going through a nasty divorce. However Mel’s oldest sons are determined to protect their trust funds.

“In late April, Mel gathered his children at the family home in Malibu and broke the news that Oksana is pregnant, and he expects them to accept the baby as a new sibling,” a friend told the newspaper. “They are quite upset… they’re furious with him and say they’re going to take steps to protect their inheritance, which they feel is in jeopardy.”

Mel and Oksana made their first public appearance at the “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” screening in New York last month. Oksana should have be about three months pregnant and therefore not showing yet.

After Robyn Moore filed for divorce, a 24 year old Russian pop singer, Oksana Pochepa, decided to step forward and announce she is Mel Gibson’s mistress, the one that was seen kissing the actor on the beach in Costa Rica a couple months ago.

Oksana claims to be in love with Mel and wants their relationship to be “strong and long-lasting.” I’m sure it will last as long as the young model/singer is getting her fifteen minutes of fame.

Oksana says: “This is serious and I hope that our union will be real and strong and long-lasting. We are different people, but Mel is a grown man and knows precisely what he wants and me too — I know what I want.”

Oksana and Mel met last August. They reportedly spent a lot of time together in his trailer when she was asked to compose a song for his upcoming movie “Edge of Darkness.” Meanwhile some naughty photos of Oksana were “leaked” online in what seems to be an obvious publicity stunt. I would like to hear what Mel has to say about it…

Mel Gibson’s wife Robyn filed for divorce after 28 years, citing irreconcilable differences for the split. The couple has seven children together but only one of them is a minor (Tom is 10 years old) and therefore Robyn is seeking joint physical and legal custody and asking for spousal support and attorney fees.

Mel Gibson and Robyn tied the knot back in 1980, before Mel fortune grew to an astonishing value of $900 million, and they didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement, which means community property including earning should be divided 50/50. Cha-Ching!

K-Fed has been the poster child for bad parenting and horrible career decisions. He is credited with ruining former goddess Britney Spears. Gibson, a former alcoholic, fell off the wagon hard last summer. In an anti-semitic tirade against Malibu cops he did irreversible damage to his career and called a female cop ’sugar tits’ during the process. Is Mel or K-Fed the crazier of the two? The NCAA men’s basketball tournament starts this week. But here at the Bumpshack we are having our own tourney version called Hollywood March Madness. Today the #1 and #8 seeds will battle on each side of the bracket. That means you will be deciding the winners between Britney Spears and Madonna as well as between Tom Cruise and Donald Trump.

The first round and first matchup of the tournament will be between troubled pop star Britney Spears and her kissing buddy Madonna. Britney’s troubles have been well documented during the past month. Madonna has always been on the lunatic ledge, pushing limits to the max. Today you never know what will escape Madge’s lips. Can Madonna, the 8th seed, upset Bald Britney?

Number eight seed Donald Trump will play host to number one seed Tom Cruise at Trump Towers. Alien Tom put forth his best acting job ever by marrying Katie Holmes last year. His couch jumping and alien worship helped him earn the male #1 seed. The Donald has a continuing nasty feud with Rosie O’Donnell. That seemed to start after he gave Miss USA Tara Conner a second chance. You will decide if Trump will upset Tommy Boy.

Mel Gibson has surprised Hollywood once again and this time it doesn’t involve a rant against the Jews.  Mel’s movie Apocalypto, according to earlier reports, is winning the weekend box office.

Call it a Hollywood shocker. Despite scandal, an R-rating, subtitles because of an ancient dialect, no stars, and direct competition from movieland AAA-listers Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz, Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto won today’s matinees this opening weekend, I’m told.

Today’s development bears out my reporting back on December 1st when I was told that early tracking showed Mel’s movie (playing in 2,465 theaters) edging ahead. Based on today’s matinees, the No. 2 spot went to Sony’s The Holiday (in 2,610 playdates), a date movie from director-writer Nancy Meyer, known for capturing that man-woman zeitgeist.

Today’s result is exactly what Disney — which had been under pressure to dump Mel’s self-financed Mayan epic after his drunken anti-Semitic stumble — was hoping for: that Gibson had become a brand name and that his The Passion of the Christ and Braveheart audiences would reward him with their moviegoing loyalty (and not hold his drunken anti-Semitic ranting against him).

It will be pretty amazing if Apocalypto tops the weekend box office considering all of Gibson’s troubles in the past few months. Many in Hollywood doubted him on The Passion of the Christ and lost their jobs when it made hundreds of millions of dollars. It looks like there might be some pink slips given out on Monday as well.

Thanksgiving day might be over but voting for this year’s ‘Turkey of the Year’ is just beginning. I have nominated a few pretty good choices. Have at it, vote, and let your reason be known in the comments.

Mel Gibson, in an interview to be aired Thursday night with Diane Sawyer, says his comments after his arrest was the ’stupid rambling of a drunkard’.

Gibson told ABC’s Diane Sawyer, “What I need to do (is) to heal myself and to be assuring and allay the fears of others and to heal them if they had any heart wounds from something I may have said.”

More and more info continues to surface from Mel Gibson’s wild night last week before being pulled over for DUI.  TMZ reports:

TMZ has learned when an allegedly inebriated Mel Gibson left Malibu’s Moonshadows restaurant in the wee hours of Friday morning, he walked past the valet attendant with his head down, hands behind his back and uttered “I’m f****d up.”

Shortly thereafter, as TMZ first reported, Gibson was arrested for driving 87 mph in a 45-mph zone with a blood-alcohol level of 0.12 (the state limit is 0.08).

ABC has cancelled Mel Gibson’s mini-series on the Holocaust after Gibson’s drunken anti-Semitic slurs after being arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Gibson was not expected to act in the 4-hour mini-series, nor was it certain that his name would even be publicly attached to the final product. But Quinn Taylor, ABC’s senior vice president for movies for television, had said at the time the project was announced that the attention-getting value of having Gibson attached was a factor in greenlighting the Holocaust project.

After the huge success of his The Passion of the Christ, networks and studios sought out Gibson and his Icon production company because they felt he’d reached a previously untapped spiritual audience for Hollywood entertainment. But the attention-getting value of having Gibson attached to the Holocaust project post-DUI arrest is what got the project killed at ABC.

I guess Mel said it best the night he was pulled over, “My life is f****d.”

Recovery for Gibson: According to Gibson’s rep he has entered a recovery program. 

Gibson’s rep, Alan Nierob, exclusively tells Star, “He is in a program of recovery at this time.”

Chris Prentiss, a neighbor of Gibson’s and the co-founder of celebrity treatment centre Passages in Malibu, Calif., tells Star: “I understand he has gone to a treatment centre. The center that I’ve heard he’s checked himself into follows the Alcoholics Anonymous 12-step program. And I don’t believe that will help him.”

“He needs individual intense therapy by a team of people who know what they are looking for in causes in alcoholism.”

This is actually one of the better mug shots I have ever seen. Considering how Mel Gibson totally lost it, according to reports after being pulled over for DUI, he looks pretty calm in his mug shot.

The DUI arrest of Mel Gibson is well circulated by now, but the alleged cover up and Mel’s psychotic break down is just now starting to make the rounds. TMZ.com broke this part of the story and it is pretty ugly for Gibson.

According to the report, Gibson became agitated after he was stopped on Pacific Coast Highway and told he was to be detained for drunk driving Friday morning in Malibu. The actor began swearing uncontrollably. Gibson repeatedly said, “My life is f****d.” Law enforcement sources say the deputy, worried that Gibson might become violent, told the actor that he was supposed to cuff him but would not, as long as Gibson cooperated. As the two stood next to the hood of the patrol car, the deputy asked Gibson to get inside. Deputy Mee then walked over to the passenger door and opened it. The report says Gibson then said, “I’m not going to get in your car,” and bolted to his car. The deputy quickly subdued Gibson, cuffed him and put him inside the patrol car.

The report says Gibson told the deputy, “You mother f****r. I’m going to f*** you.” The report also says “Gibson almost continually [sic] threatened me saying he ‘owns Malibu’ and will spend all of his money to ‘get even’ with me.”

The report says Gibson then launched into a barrage of anti-Semitic statements: “F*****g Jews… The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.” Gibson then asked the deputy, “Are you a Jew?”

The deputy became alarmed as Gibson’s tirade escalated, and called ahead for a sergeant to meet them when they arrived at the station. When they arrived, a sergeant began videotaping Gibson, who noticed the camera and then said, “What the f*** do you think you’re doing?”

A law enforcement source says Gibson then noticed another female sergeant and yelled, “What do you think you’re looking at, sugar tits?”

We’re told Gibson took two blood alcohol tests, which were videotaped, and continued saying how “f****d” he was and how he was going to “f***” Deputy Mee.

We’re told Deputy Mee was then ordered to write another report, leaving out the incendiary comments and conduct. Sources say Deputy Mee was told the sanitized report would eventually end up in the media and that he could write a supplemental report that contained the redacted information — a report that would be locked in the watch commander’s safe.

According to the story all of this is captured on tape and if so everything Gibson did after his arrest will do far more damage to him and his image than the simple drunk driving arrest would have.

UPDATE: Mel Gibson has issued an apology for his arrest and actions following his arrest Friday morning.

“I acted like a person completely out of control when I was arrested,” he said in a statement issued by his publicist. “I disgraced myself and my family with my behavior and for that I am truly sorry. I have battled with the disease of alcoholism for all of my adult life and profoundly regret my horrific relapse.”

Gibson also apologized Saturday for what he called “my belligerent behavior” when he was taken into custody.

“The arresting officer was just doing his job and I feel fortunate that I was apprehended before I caused injury to any other person,” he said.

“I acted like a person completely out of control when I was arrested and said things that I do not believe to be true and which are despicable.”
