Model Miranda Kerr has confirmed her contract with lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret is ending after three years.

News that Kerr, who is married to actor Orlando Bloom, was dropped from the brand surfaced last week. The brand’s president confirmed the news, but was unclear on whether this was the company’s decision or Kerr’s decision.

“This is a natural evolution,” Kerr told The Sydney Morning Herald. “The thing is, I’ve been modeling since I was 13. I’m now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realized I needed to prioritize my time.”

The 30-year-old mother to 2-year-old Flynn said that being a parent is her first priority. ”‘I’m just not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time,” she said. “It’s three months at a bare minimum.”

The 30-year-old wife of actor Orlando Bloom, 36, and mother of 2-year-old son, Flynn, has reportedly been let go from the brand, after her 3-year, $1 million contract wasn’t renewed.

An inside source told reporters Kerr “has a difficult reputation,” and added that she is “not a big seller for VS.”

“They can still use her for catalogue, where she will get a day rate, but she doesn’t have to be an Angel to do that,” another source said.

Chief marketing officer Ed Razek didn’t deny reports that Kerr had been fired, but said that she had already been invited to walk in their 2013 show. ”We have no plans to stop working with her,” he said.

Ellen: “No, not really that means you’re devoted. You really stayed there the entire time….I’m a little hurt because we decided we were going to have a child together but it didn’t work out.”
Orlando: “But, wait a second. Let’s back up a second, because I thought you got married first. I was the one who was broken hearted so I just ran to Miranda (Kerr) because I was like Ellen got married so I’m done.”
Ellen: “I see.”
Orlando: “I’m going to get married and have kids real quick. At least we got the kid first.”
Ellen: “So, she was a rebound?” (Laughing)
Orlando: “She’s total rebound.” (Laughing)
Ellen: “That’s really impressive. You stayed there the whole time and she didn’t have an epidural? Is that right?”
Orlando: “That is correct. You’re getting your information right.”
Ellen: “Why? Did she want one?”
Orlando: “I don’t know. I said, break them out. I’ll take it at this point.”

Ellen: “Miranda was modeling like three months after she gave birth? Is that right?”
Orlando: “She is a little insane. Yes.”
Ellen: “This is three months afterward? (Ellen shows picture) Really, seriously?”
Orlando: “Yes. That’s my girl.”
Ellen: “Why did you put her to work right away? Can’t she stay home with the baby for a little while?”
Orlando: (Laughing) “Like I said, she’s of her own mind.”
Ellen: “That’s impossible.”
Orlando: “It’s genetics. It’s amazing. She looks incredible.”
Ellen: “She must of done something… Started working out.”
Orlando: “A lot of breast-feeding….”

Miranda shared the details of her intense birth on her blog, where she also shared a picture of her son nursing. She said:

“I gave birth to him naturally; without any pain medication and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him,”

“We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family. He is our little ray of sunshine. Thank you everyone for your beautiful well wishes and your lovely thoughts.”
