Miranda Lambert Threatened to Punch Store Owner?
The National Enquirer is reporting that country singer Miranda Lambert allegedly threatened to punch a store owner in her hometown of Tishomingo, Okla.
Antique store owner Melanie Peden, whose store is just two doors down from Lambert’s boutique the Pink Pistol, invited Lambert to visit her store a few days before the grand opening, but didn’t get what she bargained for. Lambert came in the store and started yelling at Peden about stealing the property from her.

Peden said she knew that Lambert has been interested in the property four years ago but never attempted to purchase it.
“She had a complete meltdown and threatened to ‘punch me in the mouth’ if I kept talking,” Peden told reporters. “I was stunned and a little bit scared too, because she was growling and yelling at me like a crazy lady. She’s got a real anger problem and needs help. But I stood my ground and asked her to leave my store.”
Tishomingo police confirmed that Peden filed a police report after the incident.
Can’t say I blame her. Lambert sings about setting people on fire. File the report.
