Movie Poster - Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs - (PG) The sub zero heroes are back. Scrat is still trying to nab the ever elusive nut, while maybe finding true love. Manny and Ellie await the birth of their mini-mammoth. Diego the saber toothed tiger wonders if he’s growing too soft and Sid the sloth gets into trouble when he creates his own makeshift family by hijacking some dinosaur eggs. On a mission to rescue the hapless Sid, the gang ventures into a mysterious underground world, where they have some close encounters with dinosaurs, battle flora and fauna, run amuck and meet a relentless, one eyed, dino-hunting weasel named Buck.

Public Enemies - (R) No one could stop John Dillinger and his gang. No jail could hold him. His charm and audacious jailbreaks endeared him to almost everyone — from his girlfriend Billie Frechette to an American public who had no sympathy for the banks that had plunged the country into the Depression. But while the adventures of Dillinger’ gang — later including Baby Face Nelson and Alvin Karpis — thrilled many, J. Edgar Hoover made Dillinger America’s first Public Enemy Number One and sent in Melvin Purvis, the dashing “Clark Gable of the FBI.” However, Dillinger and his gang outwitted and outgunned Purvis’ men in wild chases and shootouts. Only after importing a crew of Western ex-lawmen (newly baptized as agents) and orchestrating epic betrayals — from the infamous “Lady in Red” to the Chicago crime boss Frank Nitti — were Purvis, the FBI and their new crew of gunfighters able to close in on Dillinger.

The Girl From Monaco - (R) A brilliant and neurotic attorney goes to Monaco to defend a famous criminal. But, instead of focusing on the case, he falls for a beautiful she-devil, who turns him into a complete wreck. Hopefully, his zealous bodyguard will step in and put everything back in order. Or will he?

I Hate Valentine’s Day - (PG-13) Meet Genevieve. She loves romance. She loves flowers. She loves Valentine’s Day. All of which is fitting as the owner of “Roses for Romance,” a quaint flower shop in the heart of a friendly Brooklyn, NY neighborhood. Her one problem is that she hates relationships. Having been hurt numerous times in the past when it comes to matters of the heart, Genevieve keeps herself happy by not letting any one man in. Dating is a game to her, a game she is very good at. Genevieve doesn’t get dumped and never gets hurt because she doesn’t stick around long enough for things to get ugly. Then she meets Greg.

Lion’s Den - (NR) Tells of an ill-fated and beautiful woman who kills her two lovers and later gives birth to a son in prison. She then trys to raise her son behind bars.

Local Color - (R) A successful artist looks back with loving memories on the summer of his defining year, 1974. A talented, but troubled eighteen year old art student befriends an elderly alcoholic genius painter who has turned his back on not only art, but life. The two form what appears to be at first a tenuous relationship. The kid wants to learn all the secrets the master has locked away inside his head and heart. Time has not been kind to the old master. His life appears pointless to him until the kid rekindles his interest in his work and ultimately gives him the will to live. Together, they give one another a priceless gift. The kid learns to see the world through the master’s eyes. And the master learns to see life through the eyes of innocence again.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie Poster

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - (PG13) Sam Witwicky again joins with the Autobots against their sworn enemies, the Decepticons. (Opened Wednesday June 24, 2009)

My Sister’s Keeper - (PG-13) After their daughter is stricken with leukemia, a couple conceives a younger sister who can provide a donor match, but the family is torn apart when, after years of medical procedures, the healthy younger sibling sues her parents for the right to decide how her body is used.

Cheri - (R) It is turn of the century in Belle Epoque Paris and a scandalous romp is underfoot. The tale begins as the ravishing Lea contemplates retirement from her renowned stature as Paris’s most envied seductress to the rich and famous. Her plans are cut short when she is approached by a former courtesan and arch rival, the barb-throwing gossip Charlotte Peloux, who encourages Lea to teach her disaffected 19 year-old son a thing or two about women. The resulting escapades involve power struggles over sex, money, age and society — and unexpectedly, love itself — as a boy who refuses to grow up collides with a woman who realizes she cannot stay young forever.

The Hurt Locker - (R) In the summer of 2004, Sergeant J.T. Sanborn and Specialist Owen Eldridge of Bravo Company are at the volatile center of the war, part of a small counterforce specifically trained to handle the homemade bombs, or Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), that account for more than half of American hostile deaths and have killed thousands of Iraqis. A high-pressure, high-stakes assignment, the job leaves no room for mistakes, as they learn when they lose their team leader on a mission. When Staff Sergeant William James takes over the team, Sanborn and Eldridge are shocked by what seems like his reckless disregard for military protocol and basic safety measures. And yet, in the fog of war, appearances are never reliable for long. Is James really a swaggering cowboy who lives for peak experiences and the moments when the margin of error is zero - or is he a consummate professional who has honed his esoteric craft to high-wire precision? As the fiery chaos of Baghdad swirls around them, the men struggle to understand and contain their new leader long enough for them to make it home. They have only 38 days left in their tour of Iraq, but with each new mission comes another deadly encounter, and as James blurs the line between bravery and bravado, it seems only a matter of time before disaster will strike.

Life is Hot in Cracktown - (R) The gritty, hard realities of a neighborhood, as well as the struggling, proud people who try to survive them everyday. Marybeth is a pre-op transsexual working as a prostitute and living with her lover, Benny, a small time burglar. In spite of their lines of work, they live a somewhat normal life as a married couple. Marybeth works the streets in the hopes of saving enough money for her final sex change operation, so then she and Benny can be married. Manny works two jobs: the late shift in an all night bodega surrounded by young junkies, drug dealers and prostitutes, and as a security guard in a Welfare hotel. At home his wife, Concetta, takes care of his sick infant son and makes their grimy rundown apartment as much of a home as she can. Willy, ten years old, lives in the Welfare hotel with his sister, mother and her violent boyfriend. Willy begs on the street so he and Susie can buy some fast food to eat. Romeo, a street tough, roams the streets with his gang. Upset over the murder of his younger brother, and feeling partially responsible for not being there during the shooting, he terrorizes anyone who comes in his path. These four stories come together in a powerful climax of love and salvation, showing that despite the obstacles of life in the inner-city, humanity and hope can still prevail. Based on Buddy Giovinazzo’s best-selling novel, “Life is Hot in Cracktown,” the vignettes show how crack cocaine has infiltrated the streets of urban America.

Quiet Chaos - (NR) Pietro is a successful executive, happily married and father of a 10-year old daughter, Claudia. One day, after having saved the lives of two women who were drowning, he arrives home only to discover his wife has suddenly died. From that moment on his life changes radically. Pietro takes Claudia to school on her first day back and decides spontaneously to wait for her until classes are over. He sits in his car, wanders in the park and has coffee at a nearby cafe.

A former Columbia Professor and self-proclaimed genius who came close to winning a Nobel Prize for Quantum Mechanics, Boris fancies himself the only one who fully comprehends the meaningless of all human aspirations, and the pitch-black chaos of the universe. As he readily admits, Boris is not a “feel-good person.

Movie Poster: Imagine That

Imagine That - (PG) Evan Danielson is a successful financial executive who has more time for his blackberry than his seven-year-old daughter. When he has a crisis of confidence and his career starts going down the drain, however, he finds the solution to all his problems in his daughter’s imaginary world.

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 - (R) New York City subway dispatcher Walter Garber’s ordinary day is thrown into chaos by an audacious crime: the hijacking of a subway train. Ryder, a criminal mastermind, leads a highly-armed gang of four, threatening to execute the train’s passengers unless a large ransom is paid within one hour. As the tension mounts beneath his feet, Garber employs his vast knowledge of the subway system in a battle to outwit Ryder and save the hostages. But there’s one riddle Garber can’t solve: even if the thieves get the money, how can they possibly escape?

Food, Inc. - (PG) Filmmaker Robert Kenner lifts the veil on our nation’s food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that’s been hidden from the American consumer with the consent of our government’s regulatory agencies, USDA and FDA. Our nation’s food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the American farmer, the safety of workers and our own environment. We have bigger-breasted chickens, the perfect pork chop, insecticide-resistant soybean seeds, even tomatoes that won’t go bad, but we also have new strains of e coli–the harmful bacteria that causes illness for an estimated 73,000 Americans annually.

Moon - (R) It is the near future. Astronaut Sam Bell is living on the far side of the moon, completing a three-year contract with Lunar Industries to mine Earth’s primary source of energy, Helium-3. It is a lonely job, made harder by a broken satellite that allows no live communications home. Taped messages are all Sam can send and receive. Thankfully, his time on the moon is nearly over, and Sam will be reunited with his wife, Tess, and their three-year-old daughter, Eve, in only a few short weeks. Finally, he will leave the isolation of “Sarang,” the moon base that has been his home for so long, and he will finally have someone to talk to beyond “Gerty,” the base’s well-intentioned, but rather uncomplicated computer. Suddenly, Sam’s health starts to deteriorate. Painful headaches, hallucinations and a lack of focus lead to an almost fatal accident on a routine drive on the moon in a lunar rover. While recuperating back at the base (with no memory of how he got there), Sam meets a younger, angrier version of himself, who claims to be there to fulfill the same three year contract Sam started all those years ago. Confined with what appears to be a clone of his earlier self, and with a “support crew” on its way to help put the base back into productive order, Sam is fighting the clock to discover what’s going on and where he fits into company plans.

Sex Positive - (R) Though advocating safe sex seems like a given in the new millennium, in the gay community in the early 1980s, proclaiming the idea made people into outcasts. The Grand Jury Prize winner at L.A. Outfest, this documentary examines the life and work of Richard Berkowitz, an early champion of safe sex. After spending time as a hustler, the abrasive–but ultimately correct–Berkowitz started proclaiming the dangers of unprotected sex in the early ’80s, much to the anger of the gay community.

Megan Fox Sexy Black Dress At ‘Transformers 2’ Seoul Premiere

Sex bomb Megan Fox and her co-star Shia LaBeouf attended the premiere of ‘Transformers 2’ aka “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” in Seoul, South Korea on Tuesday.

The 23 year-old actress flaunted her svelte figure in a simple tight black dress that would be appropriate for church on Sunday if it wasn’t for its revealing see-through top. That dress is something that Angelina Jolie would wear… not exactly Megan Fox’s style, but Megan looks just fabulous with or without clothes.

After a break-up with his girlfriend he moves west to Los Angeles for a fresh start; he is officially back on the market and looking to score. However, reconnecting with his old flame Maddie proves to be surprising when she introduces him to her girlfriend Anna. An aspiring photographer, John takes an entry-level position at an ad agency determined to prove himself. Things get a little confusing when Paul, a successful executive at the firm, takes a special interest in John. When John ends up in Paul’s bed, his world is turned completely upside down.

Nancy and Louis, both wounded souls, take comfort in one another through e-mail, pictures, and promises of perverse sexual encounters. Nancy has finally found the one and only thing that can liberate her from the pain in her life. While she pursues the freedom that she feels will only come with ultimate liberation, Albert is left to put the pieces together and try to salvage what is left.

Bruno’s MTV Movie Awards Stunt Staged – Eminem Was Clueless!

Bruno Sits on Eminem's Face (Sacha Baron Cohen)

Eminem finally got a taste of his own medicine! It’s not so funny when the joke is on you, Em! Austrian model Bruno, aka Sacha Baron Cohen, presented the rapper with the most embarrassing moment of his career when he was surprised by Bruno’s bare ass on his face! (Watch the funny video here!)

Apparently this stunt wasn’t as innocent as it might have looked like – Eminem was framed! Before the show, producer Mark Burnett hinted that Eminem would definitely be the topic of conversation saying, “Eminem. It’s epic tonight, it’s epic.

Eminem’s performance on stage just a few minutes before this incident wasn’t epic! And Em was clearly pissed with what happened saying “Are you serious? Get the … off me!” and leaving the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.

The bodyguards ready for action, all the cameras were on Eminem and he even had a microphone on… the big question is: did Eminem know what was about to happen? Why would he accept to play a part?? And why would he get out of his seat and walk out??

UPDATE: Scott Aukerman, who claims to be one of the writers for the show, says: “Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged. That’s all anyone wants to talk about, so lets get it out of the way … They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.

Bruno Delivers a Crack Sandwich to Eminem (Pics)

Bruno Sits on Eminem's Face (Sacha Baron Cohen)

The 2009 MTV Movie Awards (live blog) were extremely lame and tasteless, including the most talked about moment of the night, when actor Sacha Baron Cohen, in character as fashion model Bruno, flew in as an angel and floated down to sit - bottom up - on rapper Eminem.

Eminem, who was none-to-happy, cursed out Cohen, before hid bodyguards threw the shock-actor off of the rap star. Eminem promptly got out of his seat and walked out of the event.  He had performed just minutes earlier on stage to a standing ovation.
