I give Lindsay Lohan credit for taking time to ‘go off on’ the paparazzi for asking her about her sister Ali Lohan’s supposed breast implants. Lindsay responded, after having time to think about the question, on her MySpace blog.

i just had to share something that came up today and it made me feel a bit sick to my stomach.

me and my friend Patrick walking into a store, and two paparazzi come up out of nowhere (like usual) and start throwing questions at me…
one of them being, “Hey Lindsay, what do you have to say about people commenting on your sisters implants?�
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my response simply was, “Did you really just ask me that? She is a 14 year old girl, and you are a pedophile!�
i was caught out of nowhere so i didn’t really come up with the proper response at the time.. there’s many other things that i felt like saying, but why give it to a random guy with a camera so that he can make money!
All i am trying to say is, is that, i was raised with a wonderful family surrounding me, of course we have our ups and downs, but all in all my mother taught us to appreciate what we have been given. Nor would she ever encourage, or allow a 14 year old child to alter her body.
i am not judging people that do, but i am just saying that its not something that my family finds necessary to do, especially when you’re not even fully developed yet!
It is hard enough being 14 years old and you have enough insecurities to begin with, then add being in the public eye…
i just find it really disconcerting that people have to focus on the negative and that some people are sooooo bored with their own lives that they need to manifest lies to hurt another person.

Mad props to Lohan for standing up for her family. I found her to be brutally honest in this post and give her a lot of credit for it. People can say what they want about her relationship with Samantha Ronson but Li-Lo seems to be in a much better place than she was a year ago.

Pamela Rogers Turner gained national exposure back in 2005 when as a teacher had sex with one of her teenage students. She faced over a dozen charges of statutory rape and rape by an authority figure. She received a small sentence and probation after pleading no contest.

She was caught violating her parole by sending sexy texts and images to the same boy using her father’s cell phone. Rogers was then sentenced to seven years in jail for breaking her parole.

She is back in the news for sexy photos and a sex tease video she posted on her MySpage page (the page has since been removed).

WorldNetDaily exclusively reports: The page said “Pamela” is a former teacher who is looking to make a new name for herself in the entertainment industry. When WND contacted a person claiming to be Rogers Turner through the profile, she spoke about pursuing her new career and pictures she had taken in provocative poses.

The MySpace page has been removed and there has been some question as to if it was actually Turner’s or not. It would not be a shocker if it was her page. It also wouldn’t be shocking if she posted a sex tease video on the page.

It would be extremely dumb if she actually did the page considering she is in jail serving time for several different offenses of statutory rape with the teenage boy.

Back in 1997 Rogers was Ms. Monday Nitro at a WCW wrestling event.

Miley Cyrus is causing search engines to go mad again.  This time for the above photo of her in bed with her new man boyfriend.  The photo is harmless but comes after her racy photo shoot for Vanity Fair magazine which led to her issuing an apology to her fans.

Miley caused a stir earlier this year as well with her photos in her bra and photos making out with Thomas Sturges as well.

Calm down people this picture looks to me like it could have been taken on a sofa and either way its harmless.

Alisha Dean is just 13-years old but she has had it stated on her MySpage page that she is 19-years old and divorced. She also has sent two men to jail for having sex with her who thought she was of age.

The second man even went to Dean’s father when he realized she might not be legal.

Alisha Dean advertises herself on her Myspace page as 19 and divorced. The page has been marked private since the sentencing Tuesday, but one report said there is footage of Dean dancing and “shaking her womanly booty like she’s working the pole.”

Morris Williams slept with Dean believing she was 19. When he started to suspect she was not of legal age he went to Alisha’s father, Jerry Dean, who told Williams that Alisha was in fact just 13. Dean’s father then called the police and had Williams prosecuted. He is currently serving a year in jail which will be followed by five years of ankle-tracking probation.

Darwin Mills was sentenced to five years in jail for sleeping with Dean when she was 12 and pulling the same stunt on her MySpace page.

This is such a hard case to decipher. It is hard to punish the girl although naturally it seems the right thing to do. Both men should have received just probation and no jail time (especially not five years). The person who should have gone to jail is the girls’ dad for not being aware of what his daughter was/is doing. Reportedly she still has it listed on her page that she is now 16 (actually 13). Punish the dad, ban the internet from their house and get this sick girl some counseling.

Video footage of the horrific cheerleader ambush beat down that six cheerleaders recorded on March 30th to post on MySpace to embarrass the poor and innocent girl in this MySpace feud.The victim ended up unconscious and was prevented from leaving the house. Two boys stood guard outside the house. The girls kept encouraging each other and beating up the girl.The girl’s have been charged with felony battery and false imprisonment. The victim suffered several injuries.

Daisy De La Hoya must be making her all-time great boxing uncle Oscar De La Hoya a proud relative. Daisy is a contestant on the current season of VH1’s Rock of Love reality TV dating contest that stars Poison lead singer Bret Michaels.

TMZ has posted a photo (see above) of Daisy from her MySpace page where she is photographed flipping off the camera, with a bottle of Jack Daniels in hand, sitting atop a piece of broken glass with lines of cocaine on it, while exposing her ‘Bald Britney‘.

Miley Cyrus seems to be itching to break her squeaky clean Disney image from Hannah Montana. Earlier this month photos of her kissing a gal friend and goofing off in a hotel hallway were put on MySpace. Now this pic (see above) has surfaced from her MySpace page.

Bi-sexual MySpace and MTV star Tila Tequila has let it leak that there will be a second serving of her whore-fest dating show ‘Shot at Love’.

Surprise, surprise! Despite having 32 horny candidates on her show, Tila Tequila was unable to find true love. Which just goes to show that eating bull penises is hardly a romantic gesture.

Tila Tequila announced on here MTV New Year’s Eve special last night that she will star in A Shot At Love 2. The guy she chose the first time around, Bobby, dumped her because he couldn’t handle her schedule and fame.

Tila Tequila, the half-pint, MySpace created star, is responding to reports that she is ‘closet straight’ on her MySpace blog.

The queen of MySpace has written a blog in response to a Page Six article that claims she is a “closet straight.” The article cites a source who says that Tila is difficult to deal with on her MTV reality show and that she has had a boyfriend for over a year. Scandalous!

Tequila, who says she is bisexual, responded on her website by saying the accusations are absurd and made up.

I don’t know if anyone really knows what is real and what is fake with The Hills star Heidi Montag anymore.  As reported on TMZ, Montag is selling ‘Team Heidi’ shirts on her MySpace Page.

I am hoping this is a publicity stunt and not something she is doing for the money.  The pre-sell of the shirts on the site are going for $20 bucks for what is a very ugly T-shirt.

Rupert Murdoch via his News Corp. is discussing swapping social networking site MySpace (MySpace.com) for a 30% stake in Yahoo! (Yahoo.com).

News Corporation has discussed swapping MySpace, its internet social networking unit, with Yahoo! in return for a 30 per cent stake in the enlarged group.

The discussions remain tentative and could collapse after the departure of Terry Semel as Yahoo!’s chief executive and his replacement by Jerry Yang this week. Mr Yang, co-founder of Yahoo! and incoming chief executive, yesterday pledged to “dig in� to his new role, and acknowledged the difficult task he faces to arrest the decline in the internet portal’s shares.

So if this potential deal works out then how much would Murdoch make on his MySpace investment?

A deal would demonstrate a remarkably swift return on News Corp’s investment in MySpace, which it acquired for $580 million in summer 2005.

Yesterday Yahoo! was worth $37 billion. A quarter stake in an enlarged company would be worth $11.1 billion.

Approximately $10.5 billion dollars in less than two years!

Singer Annie Lennox might not know what MySpace.com is but her daughter and ex-husband’s mansion sure do.  The daughter of the former Eurythmics singer Lola let it slip on Myspace that she was having a party. The word spread like wildfire on the social networking site, hundreds of punk kids arrived, thrived and destroyed her parents house. The party turned into an event that Heavy Metal gods would be proud of as you can read below.

Party-goers daubed graffiti on walls, broke pictures and lampshades, tore apart books, urinated and vomited on carpets, flooded the kitchen and had a pitch battle in the garden.

It was not long before it was standing room only at the house and in its grounds and the party quickly got out of hand.

Her singer mother, who divorced from her father Uri in 2000 after 12 years of marriage and also lives in north London, is not understood to have heard about the party at the former marital home until the damage had been done.

‘People just kept coming and coming - there was a constant stream of them turning up from all over London and further afield. It got to a point when it was shoulder to shoulder and then a band turned up completely unannounced.’

The friend added: ‘At first it was just lamps being knocked over and drinks being spilled.

But as things got worse people were urinating on the carpet in the corner of the living room, then there was graffiti being scrawled on and even etched into the walls, pictures were being taken down and damaged, CDs went missing, books were taken off bookshelves and pages were inexplicably ripped out.

‘Lola’s friends were totally outnumbered and the gate-crashers would not leave. The front door was locked shut to make sure no one else could get in, but the ones outside actually rammed it in, breaking its hinges.’

This has happened several times overseas that we have heard about.  I have yet to hear about it happening here in the States although I am sure it will if it hasn’t already.  I believe the home owner would have to pay for the damages from the party because no one will ever track down all the kids or be able to pinpoint who did what.  I highly doubt insurance would cover any of the damages either since they were intentional.

Celebrity MYSPACE pages are not hard to find. There are literally thousands of them clogging up the internet. The true task is finding one that is really the Myspace page of that star. MySpace Music Artist Luke Laird

MySpace in a bid to compete with digitial music giant Apple and iTunes has announced that it will sell songs from the millions of unsigned artists on the social networking site.

MySpace is the latest company to try to take on Apple Computer Inc.’s (AAPL.O) iTunes Music Store, but unlike many other start-up rivals, it already boasts 106 million users, as well as the backing of parent company News Corp (NWS.N).

Before the end of 2006, De Wolfe said MySpace will offer independent bands that have not signed with a record label a chance to sell their music on the site. MySpace says it has nearly 3 million bands showcasing their music.

Songs can be sold on the bands’ MySpace pages and on fan pages, in non-copyright-protected MP3 digital file format, which works on most digital players including Apple’s market-dominating iPod.

The bands will decide how much to charge per song after including MySpace’s distribution fee, said Rusty Rueff, the chief executive of Snocap, which will manage the e-commerce service. Snocap provides digital licensing and copyright management services and was started by Napster founder Shawn Fanning.

 

 

MySpace.com is now over 100 million people strong from all over the world. The social networking site has been a launcing pad for thousands of musicans.  In the past year they have created new parts to the site to hopefully do the same for filmmakers, comedians and authors. So what is next for MySpace might you ask? Well here are a few of those answers. 

Becoming a place to go to for opinions, reviews and city suggestions. 

What’s next for FIM is leveraging MySpace’s online community and communication into a peer recommendations framework for leads on everything and anything: the best children’s playgrounds in Los Angeles to the best concert seats in Madison Square Garden to the best steakhouse in Dallas. Such peer recommendations provide a gentle seaway into targeted, fine-tuned behavioral marketing for national and local advertisers wanting to reach MySpace’s 15- to 34-year-old core user.

On deciding whether or not to partner with Google on its advertising searches.

If FIM can remain in control of the advertising and marketing experience, generating 80% of FIM’s revenue and 30% of News Corp.’s overall revenue, it won’t have to share as much of that money with the likes of Google.

For the past six months, News Corp. and FIM have been locked in talks with Google (the leading contender) as well as Microsoft, Ask.com and Yahoo! about partnering to provide more advanced paid search services. Google’s stable of advertising-related support, including its newest online checkout service, could provide MySpace with turnkey support in search, commerce and advertising.

Watch out for Sports and Games to join Music, Comdey and Film soon. 

Sports and games soon will join the music, comedy, film and blog gathering places that are a springboard for less overt, viral advertising. They will be powered by Fox’s branded entertainment, sports and news assets also created for the core demographic the company calls “Generation Fox.”

Why Google wants a piece of MySpace’s action. 

Little wonder, then, why a search and advertising powerhouse like Google wants a piece of the action given that MySpace generates more than 8.5% of all Google’s traffic and 5% of all general Internet searches, according to Hitwise. The billion-dollar question nagging at News Corp. executives is how to enter an alliance with the likes of Google and not lose control.

Better Email and IM to come. 

At present, plans are being formulated to provide MySpace users improved instant message, Voice over Internet Protocol and possibly e-mail through alliances with telephone companies and other service providers, sources said. The popular America’s Sports Blog on FoxSports.com has been the impetus for giving MySpace users their own tools to blog with. There also is intensified focus on streaming video in response to the ramping 35,000 user-generated video uploads daily to MySpace.

Revenue and predicted future revenue streams. 

Murdoch said FIM will post at least $350 million in revenue this year, up from $47 million last year, and at least $500 million in 2007. Some analysts, who expect MySpace revenue to top $1 billion by decade’s end, say the site will turn profitable this year with about $13 million, and that could increase to $50 million in profits in 2007.

In June, MySpace was second only to Yahoo! Mail in capturing 17% of online display ad impressions, according to Nielsen//NetRatings AdRelevance.

MySpace even has its own Instant Messanging service now. 

MySpace accidentally launched an alpha instant messenger this year, which drew 18,000 downloads in an hour before it was shut down and returned to the drawing board. The beta version was released six months later.

It’s too soon to know the future of paid content downloads on MySpace, having recently launched its first offering: $1.99 downloads of the Fox series “24,” sponsored by Burger King. However, paid search represents a considerable revenue-generating opportunity for MySpace and a search partner.

It appears MySpace is well on its way to taking over the world. Everything that Rubert Murdoch touches  usually turns to gold. I guess it is just a matter of not if but when you can expect to see Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity on MySpace.
