Penelope Cruz is all set to star in the movie version of the Broadway musical Nine. As if her acting was not bad enough, we will have to endure her singing as well.
Weinstein was securing the participation of Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem to star in his mega-hit film version of the Broadway show “Nine.” The musical will be directed by Rob Marshall, who brought Oscars and glory to Weinstein with “Chicago.”
Cruz and Bardem are currently in Barcelona filming Woody Allen’s new movie alongside another Weinstein favorite, Scarlett Johansson.
If Los Angeles prosecutors get their way then socialite Paris Hilton will be spending 45 days in jail for violating conditions of her probation. Finally, someone is trying to end the preferential treatment that Paris has received her entire life.
Paris Hilton should be jailed for 45 days for violating terms of her probation for an alcohol-related reckless driving conviction, city prosecutors say.In documents filed April 30th in Superior Court, prosecutors said they also want Hilton to be required to stay away from alcohol for 90 days and wear a monitoring device that will chart whether she complies.
The recommendation will be reviewed by a judge when Hilton appears for a probation violation hearing on Friday.
Hilton pleaded no contest in January to reckless driving stemming from a Sept. 7 arrest in Hollywood. She was sentenced to 36 months probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.
She was pulled over by California Highway Patrol on Jan. 15. Officers informed Hilton she was driving on a suspended license and she signed a document acknowledging she was not to drive, according to court papers. She was pulled over by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies on Feb. 27 for speeding and driving without her headlights, at which time she was charged with violating her probation.
I know everyone would love to see Paris spend some time in jail but I highly doubt it will ever happen with her fleet of high priced attorneys protecting her.
A special report in the Los Angeles Times shows that Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz could very well have been part of the reason that the much-hyped, over budged Sahara sunk at the box office.

Penelope is not even a good actress. Why does she continue to get roles in Hollywood, and why do they continue to pay tens of thousands of dollars for a dialouge coach for her. There are so many young, talented actresses in Hollywood that are so much better and can already speak the language.

Tom Cruise’s former girlfriend Penelope Cruz is the latest of Tom’s friends to come out claiming to have seen baby Suri Cruise. Of course Penelope went on to claim that Suri is the prettiest baby she has ever seen. The same line that all three people have used that have claimed to have seen the reclusive child.
“I met Suri. She is really beautiful. She is really special,” the 32-year-old actress told reporters Thursday at the London premiere of her new film, Volver. “One of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen. And I am extremely happy for them. They are really happy and doing great.”
Suri, the daughter of Cruise, 44, and Katie Holmes, 27, hasn’t been seen in public since she was born on April 18.
Cruise’s pal and fellow Scientologist, Leah Remini, has also met Suri. The King of Queens star told PEOPLE Suri “looks like Tom and Katie. She’s just beautiful.”
But this month, another Scientologist Jada Pinkett Smith told PEOPLE that she also has seen the baby. “She’s one of the sweetest babies I’ve ever met in my life,” she said. “She’s an absolute beauty and she’s Daddy’s little girl.”
Now if Tom would just let Katie’s parents see their granddaughter.
Is Penelope Cruz Hot or Not? She has never done much for me but she must obviously be hot or else they wouldn’t keep giving her acting jobs. Her acting is about as good as Bob Saget’s.
