Supermodel Petra Nemcova, actresses Rosario Dawson and Anne Hathaway are opening up to PEOPLE magazine about the controversy Jennifer Love Hewitt started with her MySpace blog in response to photographs taken of Hewitt in a black bikini while vacationing in Hawaii.

• Model Petra Nemcova: “There are different angles that everybody, even if you’re in great shape, can look bad in a photograph. And printing these images is definitely influencing people’s minds – the stars themselves, but also the people who are reading and looking at the images, the teenagers. It’s definitely good that she spoke out.”

• Rosario Dawson: “They’ll make a whole story about it if someone gains 5 lbs. … It think there is a huge obsession with size-zero jeans, and it’s just really scary. I don’t really know where that comes from. We’re not really in the Twiggy era anymore. It makes me really nervous, because I don’t know how in the world we’re supposed to be that thin unless we’re totally starving and drugging up.”

• Anne Hathaway: “[As an actress], most of the year, your body is your own. But to be ridiculed for it is upsetting. But to also have to defend it or explain it or rejoice in it or put it down, or to be expected to have a public opinion about it … I don’t understand when that happened. I don’t think women should only be defined by their bodies and their weight. It’s a cycle we’ve been in for some time, and I don’t really like it.”

Petra you didn’t really go to bat for JLH. You sort of skirted the issue and said everyone can take a bad photo. Rosario and Anne, way to go to bat for your homegirl.  Personally I don’t think the photos were her best but they weren’t horrible either.  In direct sunlight the camera can be a mean beast.

Petra Nemcova still claims to have strong feelings for James Blunt even with Blunt’s eyes and desires for multiple women.  Petra is labeled a super model but she rates out as just a bit above average here at the Bumpshack.  James at times resembles a short rat but his vocal talents can’t be denied.

If Petra Nemcova dumped James Blunt because he was cheating on her then he has the brain of a squirrel…..make that a crickett.

Sexy super-model Petra Nemcova admits to weight struggles. Nemcova says she naturally is not super then and has had to be on all kinds of crazy diets.

Model Petra Nemcova knows what it’s like to struggle to be a size zero in order to stay on the runway – and says she went on brutal diets and even took laxatives to stay thin.

“I went through so many diets in my life. I’ve been very, very skinny. I’ve been a size zero but I’m naturally more curvy,” she tells PEOPLE. “I ate just vegetables, carrots, tomatoes. I went from a just-protein diet to just eating apples to eating no carbs. I took laxatives. I went through all of it just to be able to model.”

Petra’s comments come on the wake of the ban on ultra-thin models in a Madrid fashion show.

It is funny to hear every designer come out now and say that they all prefer girls with curves. It is just not true, because if it were they would have been using girls and guys both who didn’t look like Skelator. Excuse the bitterness. Been there, done that.
