Well it is obvious by now that it was a Toy Story Halloween for us this year.  Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie had a busy Halloween with candy parties, family, and friends throughout the day.  Great memories!!

Phoenix dressed up as the best Buzz Lightyear ever on Halloween this past Saturday night.  Buzz was joined by Woody and Jessie.

Actress/singer Jill Scott and drummer Lil John Roberts have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Jett Hamilton Roberts (7 lbs., 8 oz), at 4:20 p.m. on April 20. Lil John and Jill have been dating since 2007 and announced their engagement at a concert in New York City last year.

This pregnancy wasn’t planned but Jill couldn’t be happier when she received the news: “I definitely had issues over the course of my life, reproduction issues. I was married for five years and could never conceive a child. Until now … It’s the most amazing thing that’s ever happened to me.”

Today is Phoenix Noah’s second birthday.  He will have a party this weekend for him and earlier this month we went to Walt Disney World and celebrated his birthday there as well.  He is very creative, curious, and into all kinds of electronics.

Phoenix has never been into stuffed animals and has a very short attention span for toys.  His favorite cartoon characters are SpongeBob Squarepants, Mickey Mouse, and Lighting McQueen.  His favorite TV show to watch, outside of SpongeBob, is iCarly.

Johnny Depp most would agree has gotten sexier with age. He has also taken on more and more roles geared towards children because of his own children, Lily Rose and Jack, and thrived in those roles.  Now comes word that Depp will join SpongeBob Squarepants and voice a character on a future episode of the Nickelodeon cartoon.

The New York Daily News is reporting that heartthrob Depp, 45, will joining the cast of the Nickelodeon TV special titled Spongebob vs. The Big One.

No airdate has been announced yet, but Depp will be voicing the character of “Jack Kahuna Laguna,” a surfer dude.  Totally awesome!

SpongeBob is a sponge that lives on the bottom of the ocean in Bikini Bottom.  He works at the Krusty Krab and his best friend is Patrick Star, a starfish.

Phoenix is a major fan of SpongeBob. We had a large SpongeBob Squarepants yard inflatable for Christmas that we had to keep in the living room because Phoenix insisted.  It sounded like a helicopter was inside our house since it was built for outdoors.

Phoenix Noah spends a bit of the last days of his summer in his favorite rocker at the river.  PHX is now 18 months old and is having a lot of fun getting around walking and into things.

Mr. Phoenix Noah is always there to provide a smile or encouragement to his blog daddy.  Firebird is now 16-months-old and his favorite thing to do is watch ESPN’s First Take.

Phoenix Noah turned ONE today. Happy Birthday Sweet Phoenix! He started crawling around forward today and going wherever he wants to. For many months he has been crawling but only in reverse. Now that he has the forward switch turned on he is flying around. He is standing up a lot too and probably will be walking pretty soon.

He is saying a few word like sounds. He has gone to referring to me this week as “Hot Dab”. We have been telling him “hot” instead of “no”, so that is where he got that from. I have gone from being “Hab” to “Dab”.

His birthday party is this weekend and an official one-year-old photo will probably make it’s way online in the next couple of days.
