Chris Brown, who faces two felony counts of assault and making criminal threats, accompanied by his lawyer, Mark Geragos, and family attended the preliminary hearing this afternoon.

Rihanna was suppose to testify against her former boyfriend but that didn’t happen since Chris plead guilty for felony assault and won’t do jail time. Here are the details of his plea bargain:

• Supervised probation for 5 years.
• 180 days of hard labor, like graffiti cleanup in his hometown of Virginia.
• He must report back to court every three months for his supervised probation.
• He must also enroll in a domestic violence counseling program.
• Judge issued a stay away order, which means he must stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna.
• If Rihanna and Chris at the same work related event, he must stay at least 10 yards away from her.
• Chris is ordered to return back to court on August 5th to see if the stay away order can be reduced to level one.

Rihanna, dressed all in black, was present at the courthouse. The judge claimed Chris would be treated as any other person who came through her court. If Chris violates probation, he can get up to four years in jail.

Chris Brown, who was charged with two felonies - assault and making criminal threats, showed up with his lawyer, Mark Geragos, at Los Angeles County Court today (April 6) to plead not guilty. There to support him were his sobbing mother and four bodyguards in case someone wanted to beat the crap out of Chris this time! Rihanna did not show up.

A second preliminary hearing was scheduled for April 29, which gives both parts time to discuss the case and work out some kind of deal, avoiding a trial. Rihanna’s attorney, Donald Etra, reiterated promises that his client will do “everything that the law requires her to do,” adding, “She would be pleased if this was over quickly.” So that means Rihanna wants a deal too and Chris will get nothing but a big slap on the wrist!

Singer Rihanna, who was a victim of domestic violence, decided to tattoo a handgun on her body. This is certainly not the kind of attention Rihanna wants right now – what the heck was she thinking??

The tattoo artist BangBang initially drew two guns on top of her arms (photo below) but Rihanna worried with her Cover Girl contract decided against it and instead did it across her ribcage. The shocking photos were posted on BangBang’s website.

BangBang wrote on his website: ‘I really wanted to put it here [on her arms]… She loved ‘em. But, Cover Girl wouldn’t have liked it much… and they pay the bills!’

I hope Rihanna can claim temporary insanity later. This is just wrong!! Why would such a beautiful woman ruin her body with a tattoo of a gun?? It’s distasteful and another way to glamourize violence… considering her recent history, I say it’s just shocking!

Rihanna and Chris Brown’s tearful reunion over the weekend at Diddy’s Miami mansion might have ended with a secret ceremony where the two have tied the knot, according to Star Magazine. Chris begged for forgiveness and proposed to a fragile Rihanna, who said yes!

“All she’s ever wanted was to be with him forever,” a source tells Star. “Rihanna is looking for the husband-and-two-kids deal before she turns 25. She believes in fairy tales, and she wants to live hers with Chris. She was totally up front and confessed to him, ‘I can’t live without you.’”

Chris Brown is quickly building up his defense. The D.A. hasn’t yet filled charges since the case is currently under investigation but Chris already has a trick up his sleeve – he is going to plea self-defense and say Rihanna attacked him first.

A source told Life and Style Weekly magazine: “Chris is already building his case. He’s saying she threw a phone at him, then hit him in the head and basically just lost it. He’s saying she attacked him.”

It’s difficult to believe Chris’ accusations when we have seen Rihanna’s horrific injuries and not even a scratch on him. You would think a cell phone would leave some kind of mark, if it did hit him at all… no matter what Rihanna did, what he did to her face is inexcusable!

Rihanna was seen celebrating her 21st birthday in Mexico last week (photos here>>). Sources report she is embarrassed about being exposed like this.

… just like nothing happened! It’s really hard for me to believe Rihanna really went back to Chris Brown after what he allegedly did to her face (photo here>>). According to People, Rihanna and Chris are spending some private “alone” time at one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’s homes. WHAT?? Of course, Diddy had to be involved in this mess!

“They’re together again. They care for each other,” says the source. “While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”

I understand love can totally blind you and make you not see the real monster behind face you learned to care for. But Chris has actually tried to kill her and left her unconscious in a car alone… she could have died! He could have killed her. No matter how much Rihanna loves Chris, some people are just not meant to be. A separation that might hurt Rihanna right now might save her life in the future!

This is a really bad example, especially since it’s such a hyped public domestic violence case. It sends the wrong message to women who are currently in an abusive relationship.

Apparently Chris called Rihanna to wish her a happy 21st birthday and things have naturally unfolded ever since. “He called to wish her happy birthday,” a source told the magazine. “They’ve reached out to each other. It’s been mutual.”

Rihanna, get away while you can! An abuser will always be exactly what he is, you can’t change someone no matter how much you love them. Actually, Chris might be playing a sick move: the case hasn’t been presented to the D.A. yet and Chris might be trying to get away from possible charges since Rihanna’s testimony will be crucial.

Rihanna looks sad and lonely soaking up the sun in Punta Mita (Mexico), where she stayed with close friends to celebrate her 21st birthday last weekend. The “horrific” injuries (photo here>>) seem to have faded but the pain is more than skin deep.

It’s going to take awhile for Rihanna to recover from the tragic night when her boyfriend Chris Brown allegedly beat her and threatened to kill her. Let’s hope justice can somehow make it easier for her. Chris is reportedly taking anger management classes in an attempt to clean up his public image.

Apparently a couple of days before Chris Brown beat her up, Rihanna paid a visit to an ob-gyn at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center because she suspected she might be pregnant with Chris’ baby. Sources say Chris and Rihanna’s relationship was on the rocks and she was scared he would be upset and dump her with the news.

Wearing sunglasses and dressed in all black, she appeared nervous and upset. “She was extremely fidgety. She seemed totally uncomfortable,” an eyewitness at the doctor’s office tells Star.

“She was scared he would react badly,” says an insider.

Did Rihanna tell Chris?? Can this possible pregnancy be the reason for Chris to lose control like that?? If it has anything to do with it, Chris really behaved like a coward. Violence is never the answer to any of your problems. And we wish Rihanna the best! Hang in there, girl!

Singer Rihanna finally broke the silence on the day she celebrates her 21st birthday with a simple message made just to reassure fans she is doing well and thank them for the support in this difficult time. Yesterday TMZ published a “horrific” photo of Rihanna taken right after Chris Brown allegedly assaulted her.

“At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown,” says the statement from her rep on Friday.

“She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”

The singer’s father, Ronald Fenty says the leaked photo of his daughter’s injuries is disturbing but in some way he is happy it came out for people to see what really happened in that unfortunate night before the Grammys.

“It’s good and it’s bad to see the picture because there’s other people who were thinking differently, that [Rihanna's injuries] may not be that bad, just a little spank or a little thing,” Ronald Fenty says.

Now we can start to see Chris Brown for his true colors! I’m kind of sick about the comments on how we don’t know the whole story. Let’s get this straight: there is no reason, no excuse and no explanation for what Chris did to Rihanna!

TMZ has got a hold of Rihanna’s photo after she was allegedly attacked by her boyfriend Chris Brown and the Police are now investigating who sold the photo. This police officer might get into a lot of trouble – he will certainly lose his job and can be sued for exposing a domestic violence victim, who has confidentiality rights!

A spokesperson for the LADP released the following statement: “The unauthorized release of a domestic violence photograph immediately generated an internal investigation. The Media Relations Section began receiving numerous inquiries about the release of a photograph associated with a domestic violence incident that occurred on February 8, 2009, involving entertainer Chris Brown. The photograph has the appearance of one taken during an official Domestic Violence investigation.

“The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence.

“The Department launched an immediate internal investigation and subsequently filed a personnel complaint. A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination.”

If Rihanna does sue this person, I don’t think they got enough money from the leaked photo to pay her. On the other hand, this photo will put a lot of pressure on this case and hopefully Chris will be punished hard.

The D.A. is currently investigating Chris for different felonies like domestic violence, assault resulting in great bodily injury, and even attempted murder. According to sources, Rihanna told Chris threatened to kill her and we have no doubt he wanted to do it from the way he beat her and how bad her face looked.

Everything that was previously reported about her injuries don’t do it justice – it’s way more than “horrific”, you can barely recognize her with all those bruises all over her face. But there is no question this photo TMZ posted is of Rihanna as you can see the tattoo on her shoulder (birth date of her best friend).

Chris Brown must have been incredibly mad and out of his mind to do such a thing. I’m scared of how someone who can lose his cool like that and do this to another human being. If we already thought Chris’ career was over, this photo just drops the guillotine on him for good.

Actor Terrence Howard came out on Chris Brown’s defense, saying “It’s just life, man. Chris is a great guy. He’ll be alright. And Rihanna knows he loves her, you know? They’ll be alright.” He loves her?? He beats her leaving “horrific” injuries and Chris still loves Rihanna?? I believe Rihanna doesn’t need that kind of loving!

Terrence should have kept his mouth shut since he also has a few skeletons in his closet too, Smoking Gun reports the Oscar-nominated actor was arrested back in 2001 for assaulting his wife.

Terrence was arrested by Pennsylvania cops in September 2001 for assaulting his estranged wife.

While McCommas was speaking with a police dispatcher, Howard “showed up at the victim’s residence and began breaking the door down.” McCommas ran to the rear of the house and into the backyard. Howard then “broke the front door down and ran through the screen door in the kitchen. Howard then grabbed the victim’s left arm and punched her twice with a closed fist in the left side of the face.”

According to a Whitemarsh Police Department report, after Howard and Lori McCommas argued on the phone, the actor warned, “Don’t disrespect me by hanging up on me or I’ll come over and hurt you.” McCommas then “hung up and contacted 911 fearing Howard was serious.”

When a Whitemarsh cop responded to the scene, Howard admitted, “I broke the door down and hit my wife.”

I actually liked Terrence. I completely lost the respect I might have for this guy. Not only did he assault his wife but he dares to try to defend another alleged abuser like Chris Brown. What if a guy abused his daughter, would he also try to defend him too??

It took him exactly a week but disgraced R&B star Ike Turner Chris Brown has released his first statement since his fists and teeth sank into girlfriend Rihanna’s face and body last Sunday morning in Los Angeles.

“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.”

“Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else.”

Like all public figures who get caught killing dogs (Michael Vick), sleeping with hookers (Eliot Spitzer), or worse, Brown calls on God and attempts to make us believe he is truly sorry by calling on the name of God.

This creep didn’t even mention Rihanna’s name or that he was sorry to her about his violent Tyson-esque explosion all over her face.  Brown should be apologizing up and down to Ri-Ri and praying that she takes him back and doesn’t file charges against him.  If charges are filed and Brown is found guilty he could serve several years behind bars.

Chris Brown has held a little family and close friends meeting in Los Angeles on Thursday night to discuss the recent tragic events which led to his arrest, according to RadarOnline.
