Barack Obama Retracts Statement on Abortion (Video)

Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama is retracting the statement he made on abortion at the Saddleback Civil Forum in California back in August. Obama said then that deciding when a baby gains human rights (abortion) was “above my pay grade.”  Obama said on Sunday he was too “flip” in answering Pastor Rick Warren’s question.

Asked on Sunday whether the “above my pay grade” answer was too flip, Obama said: “Probably. …What I intended to say is that, as a Christian, I have a lot of humility about understanding when does the soul enter into … It’s a pretty tough question.

Presidential Forum Interviews from Saddleback (Video)

We finally got a good part of our video footage from last weekend’s Presidential Civil Forum from Saddleback Church edited and put together. After the forum between Presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain our Bump Media crew interviewed dozens of those in attendance as they were leaving the event.

Everyone seemed to have an opinion, but most decided to not tell who they were voting for, with a few exceptions as you will see in the highlight reel.

Take time to watch the video above. I believe you will find it pretty interesting considering it’s the opinions of those that saw the forum live, and not the rambling, blathering nonsense of some political pundit off of network/cable news.

Special thanks to Josh Babich for filming the event and spending many hours editing the hours of footage. I would also like to especially thank my sexy, hot little reporter, who was a pro by the end of the night, and essential in garnering us access to this one-of-a-kind event.

John McCain & Barack Obama on Stem Cells (Vote)

Below you will find video clips of Presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama that we filmed this past Saturday night at the Saddleback Civil Forum. We have paired together McCain’s and Obama’s answers on ‘Stem Cell Research’ here for you to watch and decide who you agree with the most.

Remember you can be 100% committed to a candidate and still like the other candidates answer better on certain issues.

I will be posting several of these over the next couple of weeks as the election approaches. Don’t forget to vote at the bottom of this post on which answer you like best.

BumpVideo: Barack Obama Defines ‘Rich’

Here is some more of our footage we shot Saturday night at the McCain-Obama Civil Forum at Saddleback Church and hosted by Pastor Rick Warren. In this clip Barack Obama responds to Rick’s question on what amount of money makes one rich in the United States. Warren gets in a funny remark about how expensive it is to live in southern California in this clip.

The real winner tonight was Rick Warren. Sure he has sold 30 million copies of The Purpose Drive Life and many Americans know him, but tonight he was put on the biggest stage, asking the next President of the United States some very tough questions. People come into an event like tonight knowing for the most part who they are going to vote for. So what the candidates say very rarely sway the viewer/listener one way or another.

It was all upside for Rick tonight. Sure there were protesters outside tonight’s forum. Protesters were lined up on both sides of every candidate and Warren himself. Rick will get a huge push in sales of his books in print for the next couple of weeks. He came across as being extremely fair to both McCain and Obama. Warren came across as being caring, compassionate, funny and also had several of his causes mentioned by both candidates during their answers tonight.
