Salma and Maria started climbing onto Maya’s chair while Maya remained totally calm. I think I would have reacted exactly like Salma… actually I would be jumping into the water and away from the snake. Poor Salma!!

Mexican actress Salma Hayek gave birth to a baby girl after entering the hospital on Thursday.  The birth is the first for Hayek.

Salma Hayek and her businessman fiancé, François Henri Pinault, are the parents of a baby girl, Valentina Paloma Pinault.

“Mother and daughter are doing well,” Hayek’s publicist Cari Ross, said in a statement. No further details were released.

Double the good news for Salma Hayek: The actress is engaged to businessman boyfriend François-Henri Pinault – and she’s pregnant.

“Businessman, François-Henri Pinault, and his fiancée, Salma Hayek, are happy to announce they are expecting the arrival of their first child,” Hayek’s rep confirmed in a statement Friday.

Pinault is the CEO of luxury goods firm PPR, which owns Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, as well as a French department store and national music chain. His father, François, is an avid art collector owning more than 2,500 valuable pieces, including Picassos, Miros and work by contemporary artistst including Damien Hirst.

Congrats to Salma and Francois on the engagement and pregnancy. He look like he good be her father or grandfather but it doesn’t matter to much when you have as much money as he does.

Actress Salma Hayek has put on some major weight. There had to be a reason for her big punching bags of late. If in fact she is pregnant she could put on dozens of more pounds with her capable frame. If SH is pregnant then congrats to her and her donor.

Salma Hayek is one beautiful woman. She is probably an average actress but when you have more curves than Muholland Drive you can sometimes get away with mediocre talent.

Salma Hayek blessed millions of male fans when she took her blouse off on the ABC show Ugly Betty.  There was nothing ugly or betty about Hayek’s performance.  Best Buy reported a large spike in sales of their High Definition TV’s the twenty-four hours after the episode aired.
