After being hospitalized for health issues earlier this week, Demi Moore dropped out of filming for the upcoming biopic Lovelace. It was then rumored that Weeds star Mary Louise Parker would be replacing the actress in her role as Gloria Steinem, but now it appears that Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker has been cast.

Filming for the new flick began last month, and stars Amanda Seyfried as iconic porn star Linda Lovelace. SJP will step in and replace Moore as Steinem, a feminist author and activist.

The film, which hits theatres September 16, is “centered on the life of Kate Reddy (Parker), a finance executive who is the breadwinner for her husband and two kids.”

Stepping out to attend a charity gala in New York City yesterday, fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker look noticeably… taller.

The normally 5’2″ actress added at least three inches to her teensy frame (most likely more, with the killer heels she was wearing) with her Real Housewives of New Jersey bouffant hairdo.

I’m not in love with SJP’s new ‘do, but it looks like the mile high hair club (The M.H.H.C for those of you who like acronyms) may be catching on in Hollywood. Cheryl Cole, recently sported a giant pompadour for X Factor auditions in L.A. and good ol’ Snooki’s been rocking one since day one.

Is big hair here to stay?  Ugh, let’s hope not.

Nude tones of gold and silver seemed to be the trend of this year’s Metropolitan Costume Institute Gala, which was held in honor of the late designer Alexander McQueen. And it just so happened that three of Hollywood’s top starlets came to the event wearing similar long-sleeved, sleek gowns: Sarah Jessica Parker, Renee Zellweger and Gwyneth Paltrow.

SJP wore a silver McQueen, appropriate for the event, I’d say. Zellweger went with the ever-so-classic Carolina Herrera, donning a gold shimmery number with a scooped back. While Paltrow opted for a backless Stella McCartney number.

So who wore it best? I’m going with SJP. The gown fits her perfectly, her hair looks fabulous, and hello? She’s wearing McQueen to a McQueen event. Doesn’t get classier than that! A+, Parker.

As for Zellweger, I’d give her a close B. I’m not as crazy about this color on her pale skin. And Paltrow, a C. She missed the mark this time. It’s ill-fitting and how many times can you do the long-sleeved and backless thing? Have more fun! You have the body of a supermodel.

The fantastic four Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie), Kim Cattrall (Samantha), Kristin Davis (Charlotte) and Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) looked absolutely marvelous on the red carpet of the world premiere of “Sex And The City 2” held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Monday (May 24)- photo gallery below.

Sarah and Kristin decided to push the envelope and both wore beautiful neon gowns – Sarah in green and Kristin in hot pink -, while Kim and Cynthia opted for safer colors, gold and black. Gold is always in and black is always elegant. We believe Sarah won the red carpet fashion showdown, even if we would have never picked that color.

The men of SATC, Chris Noth and his wife Tara Wilson, John Corbett, Willie Garson, Jason Lewis, Max Ryan and Giles Marini, were handsome in very slick suits. Other fabulous, incredible gorgeous stars on the red carpet included Vanessa Williams, Jennifer Love Hewitt and the one and only Liza Minnelli, who has a cameo in the movie.

After two failed “Sex And The City 2” movie posters featuring Sarah Jessica Parker, our wish to see the fabulous four girls (Charlotte, Carrie, Samantha and Miranda) together finally came true. Unfortunately, the four actresses including Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon, are barely recognizable in the final (extra Photoshopped!) official poster for the movie, which will be released on May 27, 2010.

This poster is a lot better than the first one but, as a fan of the show, I’m totally disappointed. The fantastic four, Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha, should be on the poster. “Sex And The City” is not about Carrie. It’s about friendship and fierce independent women.

The girls are back! Luvs it! But as a fan of the series, I’m completely disappointed. They all look fabulous but it seems like we are getting more of the same – the movie doesn’t seem to have a consistent plotline or this trailer just sucks!

The “Sex And The City” movie sequel started filming in New York last week. The fabulous SATC girls, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are back for new adventures in the city. If you don’t to be completely spoiled, do not read any further.

Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Mr. Big (Chris Noth) will end up moving to Charlotte and Harry’s house after they lose a tremendous amount of money in the recession. Big will travel to the Middle East to recover his fortune.

Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) thinks her husband Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler) is cheating on her and leave their apartment with their two daughters (Lily and Rose) to find out later Harry is seeing a contractor to build her dream house.

Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon) leaves her career as lawyer after being sued for malpractice to open a restaurant with husband Steve Brady (David Eigenberg). While Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) is reportedly taking hormones because she is finally ready to be a mom. Smith Jerod (Jason Lewis) is now a super famous actor and he is ready to repair his relationship with Samantha.
