Colombian singer, Shakira, seemed to have been robbed when she interacted with the audience during one of her concerts in Monterrey, Mexico. A ring appeared to be taken off the singer’s fingers and the “theft” was caught on tape (see video below).

In the video, Shakira was shaking hands with the fans, pulled her hand and looked at it. She seemed confused, but didn’t miss a beat and continued performing like nothing happened. Well, the truth is nothing really happened!

Shakira denied the reports through her rep, Joseph Carozza, who said, “There is no truth to this report. A fan grabbed her hand and she looked down. Her ring is still visible on her hand as she continued to walk through the crowd.”

Colombian singer Shakira and her longtime boyfriend Antonio de la Rue have broken up last summer after dating for more than eleven years. The 33 year-old singer revealed she is officially single and the decision was mutual.

“Since August 2010, we made a mutual decision to take time apart from our romantic relationship,” she wrote on her website. “Throughout this time we have continued to work together hand in hand, have remained close and have kept the details absolutely private until now.”

“We view this period of separation as temporary and as a time of individual growth as we continue to be partners in our business and professional lives,” she wrote. “Our friendship and understanding of one another is unwavering and indestructible.”

Adds an insider, “There was no big drama, it’s just one of those things where they had been together a long time and realized they were more friends and business partners than lovers. It’s sad, but they could get back together. They just needed a break.”

Antonio and Shakira, who says the two had “the most wonderful years” together, seem to care a lot about each other, but that is not enough to maintain a romantic relationship. They probably need a break to realize they already act like an old married couple.

Two of the fiercest, most beautiful ladies of the night, Shakira and P!nk wore the exact same dress for the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday (September 13).

The ladies handled the situation pretty well and laughed about it while posing for the photographers together. I don’t think it’s fair to ask since both Shakira and P!ink looked absolutely gorgeous but who owned that dress?? Who wore it better: Pink or Shakira!?!?

Colombian singer/songwriter Shakira is back with a brand new album which will hit stores in October. The music video for the first single titled “She Wolf” is wicked – it’s all you can expect from sexy Shakira – crazy lyrics, insane dancing, hips, hips, hips and booty.

‘She Wolf’ was directed by Jake Nava, who also worked on Beyonce’s “Single Ladies”. Jake said, “The story of this video is about Shakira getting in touch with her inner she-wolf, which I think is a kind of predatory sensuality that lurks inside every woman.” S-E-X-Y!!
