“It’s an incredibly emotional and strange moment in my life,” Mr. Samberg said. “Obviously it’s not a huge shock, but I did officially decide not to come back.”

The 33 year-old confessed that he talked and got advice from co-star Kristen Wiig, who also left the show on a bittersweet note at the SNL season finale hosted by Mick Jagger last month (see video here).

“She [Kristen] kept saying it just feels like it’s her time,” Mr. Samberg said. “I connect with that. Something about it just feels like it’s the moment. My contract’s up and I did so much more than I ever thought I would ever even do.”

It’s the end of an era! First Kristen, now Andy. Saturday Night Live will never be the same again. However, Andy is open to the possibility of making special guest appearances or even host one special episode of the show.

The Wanted Perform “Glad You Came” On American Idol (VIDEO)

It’s safe to say they totally rocked and made millions of tweens squeal all over the world. I have no idea how these guys became so popular but I blame Simon Cowell since they were manufactured during the seventh season of “The X Factor.”

The guys are kinda cute. Meh. Even though Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles are all between 18 and 20 years old, they look like 15- and awkward, which is a big turn off. Excuse me, I like my boys manly!
