Rapper Kanye West took the opportunity to speak out and apologize once again to Taylor Swift for his disrespectful behavior at the 2009 MTV VMAs (watch Kanye West’s VMA meltdown video) on Jay Leno’s debut on Monday (September 14) – watch video below.

Kanye said, “So many celebrities, they never take the time off. I’ve never taken the time off to really — you know, just music after music and tour after tour. I’m just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else’s hurt. My dream of what awards shows are supposed to be, ’cause, and I don’t try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. That’s period. But I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I’m going to make it through the rest of this life, how I’m going to improve.”

Kanye was on the verge of tears when Jay asked what would his mother Donda, who he was really close to before she tragically died in 2007, say. The 32 year-old emotionally apologized for the third time (first two times via his blog – read original apology here) and it seems like he finally meant it. It is not easy to be hated by everyone and Kanye is an artist he needs an audience – there was no other way out, - he just had to apologize.

The rapper also said he would like to apologize to Taylor Swift in person. I think Taylor is a talented girl, who sold millions of albums, and she does deserve respect for how far she has made it at such a young age.

UPDATE: Obama Says Kanye West Is a Jackass VIDEO

President Barack Obama has weighed in on Kanye West hijacking the MTV Video Music Awards stage, and moment away from Taylor Swift on Sunday night, by appropriately calling West a “Jackass” according to Politico.

The off-the-record comment was not suppose to reach the light of day, but the viral kudzu that is Twitter caught wind of it when ABC News reporter Terry Moran tweeted the swipe but has since deleted the tweet.

Here is the text of Moran’s tweet about the President’s opinion on West:

“Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a “jackass” for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’S presidential.”

Smart move by the President if you ask me. His approval has been down and he has been divisive in his policy making and plans. So what better than to finally say something that 95% of Americans agree with?

After ruining Taylor Swift’s moment at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (September 13), Kanye West used his blog to try to apology in CAPS to the teen country sensation, her mom and her fans. Kanye had already been behaving like a total loser when he arrived with Amber Rose and his old friend Hennessy (photos)!!

Kanye wrote, “I’M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD’VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED! Country singer Taylor Swift won her first “moonman” and was left completely speechless when Kanye West took the stage and interrupted her to praise Beyonce at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday (September 13).

Taylor performed her song “You Belong With Me” down in the New York City subway and then up on top of a cab (watch video). Later, the glorious Beyonce gave up her own speech time to finally let Taylor have her moment (watch video).

Beyonce, who continues to evolve into the class of today’s hip-hop generation, won the Video of the Year at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).

Beyonce used the moment to call Taylor Swift back onto the stage so she could have her moment to shine. Earlier, Kanye West had jumped on-stage and hijacked the moment when Swift won Female Video of the Year. West took the mic from Swift and told the audience that Beyonce’s ‘Single Women’ was “one of the greatest videos of all-time!”

Swift was surprised and appreciative. She used the moment to thank everyone she would have thanked earlier before West intruded.

Beyonce shared the stage with Taylor at the end of the show when Beyonce won Video of the Year.

Rapper Kanye West jumped on stage and interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for the first award of the night, Best Female Video, for “You Belong With Me”. Kanye thought Beyonce deserved the award for the “Single Ladies” video.

Kanye said, “Yo, Taylor — I’m really happy for you. I’ll let you finish. But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!!”

Poor Taylor was left speechless!! That beast just grabbed her mic and ruined what should have been Taylor’s moment! He is such a prick!! We can’t believe security just stormed in and threw in off the stage!

Beyonce shared the stage with Taylor when she won Video of the Year. She invited Taylor up on stage to have her moment to shine and give her thank yous.

Last week I posted the video of Taylor Swift pranking Keith Urban on the last night she was on tour with him. Taylor and her crew came on stage while Urban sang ‘Kiss A Girl’ dressed up and acting like the rock band KISS.

The video above is behind the scenes of that prank and some other backstage footage of Swift.

Keith Urban was pranked on stage last night when opening act Taylor Swift (and three others) donned KISS make-up and costumed and walked on stage while Keith was singing ‘Kiss a Girl.’  Taylor was dressed up as original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley.

The prank too place at Urban’s show in Kansas City, Missouri.  Swift posted the photo above on her Twitter @taylorswift13

Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift chose two very different styles and colors for the red carpet of the 44th Academy of Country Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Hotel Casino in Las Vegas last night (April 5).

Taylor Swift wore a beautiful red one-shoulder gown by Angel Sanchez, Neil Lane jewels, VBH clutch and Louboutin shoes, while Miley Cyrus showed up in a Monique Lhullier jeweled one-shoulder dress, H.Stern jewels and Cole Haan shoes.

Miley and Taylor both looked amazing but who did it better?? Who shined brighter?? I personally loved Taylor’s look - the dress, hair, jewels, makeup – she’s perfect!! RED hot!

Country sensation Taylor Swift literally stripped off her country garments to bring glamorous hot sparkling back on stage at the GTE Federal Credit Union Soundstage in Plant City, Florida yesterday (Mar 1).

Taylor worked the crowd at the Strawberry Festival after coming back from a quick tour to Europe, where she attended the 2009 Brit Awards. Taylor is such a talented girl! She also looks just fabulous and I love the sparkling pink guitar.

The 19 year-old country singer Taylor Swift looked absolutely stunning in her sparkly minidress by by Kaufman Franco and shoes by Christian Louboutin at the 2009 Brit Awards in London yesterday (Feb 18).

Taylor is trying to make it big in Europe too, we are sure she will succeed because the girl’s got talent. Katy Perry, who is a major fan of both Taylor and Miley Cyrus, picked up the Brit Award for Best International Female (photos here>>) and reportedly puked backstage right after receiving it.

The 51st Annual Grammy Awards happened last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The big winners on the night were the duo Robert Plant and Allison Krauss, Lil’ Wayne and Coldplay (Top 10 Moments of 51st Grammy Awards) but the sexy ladies were the ones who caught our attention.

Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus sang for the first time together (the sound was horrible but they sure scared The Jonas Brothers right out of their seats!). Carrie Underwood gave the best live performance singing “Last Name” in short shorts, while Katy Perry made a big impression coming on stage inside an enormous banana. Katy stumbled danced and lip-synched her way through a sexy performance of her hit song “I Kissed a Girl“.

All the ladies shinned bright in their beautiful evening attire but who was the hottest female celeb at this year’s Grammy Awards: Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood or Katy Perry??

6 - Youngest Jonas Brother Nick forgets the lyrics to Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition”, but doesn’t let it affect his confidence, and continues to gyrate and hammer the guitar within a foot of the legendary singer (who moments before sung the chorus to their smash “Burnin’ Up” - weird).

Country teen sensation Taylor Swift is the new cover girl for the latest issue of Teen Vogue Magazine. Again what came out of this interview was a really down to earth girl, who loves her work and secretly wants to start an acting career too. Here are some highlights:

On thinking things happen for a reason: “I’m the kind of person, who needs to feel like everything happens for a reason. When you date a guy and it goes badly, that’s horrible. But if you can write a song about it, then it was worth it.”

On being popular being easier to meet people: “It’s weird—I thought I’d have so many more friends, but I feel like I’m less popular than I’ve ever been. It makes me value the people I can trust even more; I still have the same best friend I had all through high school.”

On being interested in acting: “Only if it was a show that I loved, like CSI or Grey’s Anatomy, or if it was a really cool script. But I’m not feeling this desperate urge.”

On people taking pictures of her all the time: “Well, I’ve never had paparazzi in Nashville before; that’s a new thing. You really have a lot of privacy here. I saw that documentary on Britney Spears, and I feel bad for her—she can’t leave her house!”
