It’s not official yet, but Klaroline for the win!
In the last episode of the “The Vampire Diaries”, Our Town (3×11), we were surprised by Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) natural ability to be a better villain than Klaus (Joseph Morgan) when made Elena (Nina Dobrev) drink his blood and threatened to drive off a (the) bride to end Klaus’ hybrids source.

However, in a plot twist certain to cause whiplash, we saw another site of Klaus when he saved Caroline (Candice Accola) after she had been bitten by her vampire/werewolf hybrid boyfriend Tyler (Michael Trevino) in the day of her 18th birthday. That was also the day of her funeral because the undead should not ever celebrate birthdays without having a proper funeral first.
Caroline was extremely depressed when she realized she would be stuck at 17 forever. So Klaus did not only save her life, but he also gave her a reason to live in one of the most incredible, amazing, tear-jerking scenes ever (see video below). Candice and Joseph’s chemistry was intense, delivering the most impeccable and precious performance for two actors in the show ever.
And that is how Klaroline’s (Klaus + Caroline) relationship was born. The deal was ceased with a bracelet, a bracelet so much more mesmerizing than the one given to her by Tyler, whose sire bond with Klaus led him to bite the girl he loves.
Intense. Obviously, I, for one, cannot wait for the new episode to see how Klaroline’s romance develops in tonight’s “The Ties That Bind” (3×12). Even though, I’m loving Klaroline, I wonder what are Klaus real intentions because he obviously manipulated Tyler to bite her before he saved her life. Klaus must be planning something devilish, or could he be really falling in love?
Meanwhile, Caroline’s daddy, Bill (Jack Coleman) is back to threaten her hybrid “friend” Tyler, but things don’t go exactly as you might expect as the two will end up forming some sort of alliance. Tyler seems to be determined to regain his free will and break the sire bond with his creator.
“Say your boyfriend does you wrong, and then your boyfriend goes to your father and brings him into it—that’s a pretty big apology,” Trevino teases. “That’s trying, I know that much. She’s a little receptive to it.”
“In Bill’s eyes, it’s like, you have a serious problem. I know how serious your problem is, and you’re trying to date my daughter, when you almost killed her?” Trevino says. “He’s got some issues he wants to address with Tyler as well. It’s almost an ultimatum, like if you want to date my daughter, you’re going to have to break this sire bond.”
Will Klaus and Tyler soon be fighting over Caroline? I hope so because the only thing better than Klaroline is a good love triangle between Klaus, Caroline and Tyler. Who should Caroline end up with: Klaus or Tyler? I love me some bad boys, so I’m officially jealous of Caroline’s love life!
